Abstract

Smart Farming is a term used for the implementation of technology in the agricultural sector, both in digital and hardware forms. Cinnamomum Sintoc is a plant that grows in tropical areas with high rainfall. This plant requires an adequate supply of nutrients to continue growing and produce essential oils from the bark. Cinnamomum sintoc is planted with a spacing of approximately 4 x 4 meters to provide sufficient space for growth and develop a wide canopy. This plant requires regular fertilization and watering to maintain the quality of growth in the bark. To ensure stable fertilization and watering and maintain optimal nutritional conditions, a system is needed that can monitor plant growth in real time based on soil nutrient conditions. The system can be a mobile-based application that can move the system around the plant. Thus, an integrated database system is needed to record every fertilization and watering activity of the plant as well as plant growth and provide information on soil nutrient conditions. In this study, a mobile-based application was created using a prototype method that has features that can display soil nutrient information on Cinnamomum Sintoc plants in real time through sensors installed on the plants, commands for fertilization and watering, and record plant growth data based on tree diameter and trunk. With the prototyping technique, developers can collect data and information obtained from observations and direct interactions with Cinnamomum Sintoc farmers objectively. The results of this study are in the form of a prototype application design that uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach. This research can be continued with the development of a mobile-based application that actually uses a microservices architecture. With this system, it is hoped that it can assist farmers in monitoring plant conditions, fertilizing and watering, and monitoring the growth of Cinnamomum Sintoc plants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di dataran tinggi yaitu pasar Ciborelang, pasar Sindangkasih dan pasarMaja Selatan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor sosial terhadap keputusan pembelian cabaimerah besar secara simultan dan parsial. Data primer dan data sekunder digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi, uji-f dan ujit.Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa faktor sosial yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen untukmembeli cabai merah di dataran tinggi secara simultan, sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi pasar secaraparsial terdapat di pasar maja selatan jika dibandingkan dengan pasar Ciborelang dan Sindangkasih yaitufaktor sosial dengan Nilai Sig sebesar 0,048 terhadap keputusan pembelian cabai. merah besar.

Abstract

Pengembangan komoditas potensial tanaman pangan merupakan langkah awal dalam proses Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Majalengka dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis potensi komoditas unggulan tanaman pangan dalam kurun waktu 2018-2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan data primer dari 98 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode Proposional Random Sampling. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa alat analisis seperti Location Quotient (LQ). Hasil analisis Location Quotient (LQ) menunjukkan bahwa komoditas padi sawah, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau merupakan komoditas basis dengan LQ > 1, sedangkan ubi kayu dan ubi jalar merupakan komoditas non-basis dengan LQ < 1. Produksi tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Majalengka, seperti padi, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau, mengalami fluktuasi namun memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian daerah. Program Desa Mandiri Benih telah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan produksi padi dengan melibatkan teknologi modern dan varietas unggul baru. Produksi jagung di Kabupaten Majalengka memberikan peluang bagi petani, terutama sebagai pakan ternak. Sementara itu, produksi kedelai juga mengalami fluktuasi namun masih memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan dengan adanya program penyediaan benih varietas unggul. Produksi kacang tanah dan kacang hijau juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian daerah. Hasil analisis klasifikasi menunjukkan bahwa komoditas unggulan tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Majalengka memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut, terutama untuk komoditas basis seperti padi sawah, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau. Sedangkan komoditas non-basis seperti ubi kayu dan ubi jalar membutuhkan upaya lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan produksi dan kontribusi terhadap perekonomian daerah.

Abstract

Introduction: Lettuce ( Lactuca sativa L.) is a popular vegetable plant in Indonesia. This is because the demand for lettuce continues to increase and lettuce plants can be planted with a hydroponic system that is currently in great demand by the community, especially generation Z (Gen Z). In meeting the demand for lettuce, lettuce is planted hydroponically. Planting in a hydroponic system often does not pay attention to the intensity of light that can be received by plants due to the shade from the GreenHouse or UV plastic used, so that plants cannot grow optimally. The purpose of this study was to find the most suitable lettuce varieties planted hydroponically at various irradiation times as well as the most appropriate long light for lettuce plant growth and to analyze the relationship between characters with the yield for indirect selection. Methods: The study was conducted at the GreenHouse Arsy Hydroponic using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern. 3 lettuce varieties and 4 long light treatments were the treatments in this study. The relationship between characters was analyzed using correlation analysis. Results: The results of the study showed that the Cos and Batavia varieties can generally be used for planting with a light duration of more than 12 hours compared to the Oakleaf variety. Light duration of less than 12 hours is not recommended because it will cause the plant height to be higher, especially for the Oakleaf variety. In the indirect selection process to obtain high-yielding varieties in the hydroponic system by providing light duration and varieties can be selected from the characteristics of the number of leaves, leaf width and root length which have a significant positive correlation. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that selecting the appropriate variety can increase optimal crop yields. Information on the relationship between plant characteristics is very important to increase the effectiveness of selection.

Abstract

Extension officers have a very important role, namely as a non-formal learning tool that provides knowledge on how to run a farm that can help improve the quality of farmers, skills, and profit income in farming. Therefore, research was conducted related to the role of agricultural extension agents on farming and the relationship between the role of agricultural extension agents on productivity. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of agricultural extension workers as facilitators, dynamists, consultants, organizers, analyzers in coffee farming. And the relationship between the role of agricultural extension agents on farming productivity using a descriptive quantitative method of measuring the Likert scale and rank correlation test to analyze the relationship between the role of agricultural extension agents and productivity. The sample size used was 32 with a sampling technique, namely the saturated sample contained in Non Probability Sampling. The results obtained by the role of agricultural extension agents in coffee farming agricultural extension agents as facilitators were 3.56 Medium categories, extension agents as dynamicators 3.29 Medium categories, extension agents as consultants 3.53 High categories, extension agents as organizers 3.61 High categories and extension agents as analyzer of 2.99 Medium category. Extension agents with a high category in coffee farming in weak sugih namely the role of extension agents as consultants and as organizers. for extension agents as facilitators, dynamists and analyzers, scores in the Moderate category are obtained. As for the rank correlation analysis test, it is used to analyze the relationship between the role of extension workers and productivity. The results show that there is a relationship with a correlation value of 0.383, with a low correlation criterion.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan tumbuhan yang berkasiat obat dari alam yang berlebihan akan menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan populasi tumbuhan obat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membudidayakan tanaman yang berpotensi berkasiat obat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Wawancara, Observasi, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) dan pelatihan budidaya yang di bagi dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, budidaya tanaman. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah tanaman obat yang dibudidaya berjumlah 20 jenis dengan kondisi terawat dan tumbuh dengan baik. Tanaman obat yang dibudidayakan memiliki banyak manfaat sebagai obat.

Abstract

Tanaman sacha inchi berpotensi dikembangkan secara ekonomi dengan melihat berbagai peluang manfaat bagi kesehatan, sector industry makanan, dan farmasi. Namun bukan karena belum begitu marak dibudidayakannya tanaman ini tetapi masyarakat masih belum memahami peluang-peluang komersial dan manfaat serta peluang produk turunan dari tanaman ini. Tema dari kegiatan pengabdian yaitu menggali potensi ekonomi dari pengembangan tanaman sacha inchi. Peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman dari potensi ekonomi tanaman sacha inchi dengan berbagai produk turunannya merupakan maksud dari kegiatan pengabdian ini. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian dengan menggunakan pendekatan edukasi, ceramah, penyuluhan melalui focus group discussion yang interaktif. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini para peserta berperan aktif dalam kegiatan melalui diskusi interaktif dan diperolehnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang lebih dari sebelum dilakukan kegiatan ini.
