Abstract

The Extention of MFCC Technique from 1D to 2D as Feature Extractor for Speaker Identification System Using HMM. In this paper, we introduce an extension of Mel-Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (1D-MFCC) methodology to bispectrum data, referred to as 2D-MFCC, for feature extraction. 2D-MFCC is based on 2D bispectrum data rather than 1D spectrum vector yielded by Fourier transform, so the filter in 1D-MFCC must be extend to 2D filter and using 2D cosine transform to get the mel-cepstrum coefficients from the filtered bispectrum values. Based on 2D-MFCC, we develop a speaker recognition system with Hidden Markov Model (HMM) as classifier. The experimental results show that the recognition rate is around 88%, 92% and 99% for 20, 40 and 60 data training, respectively

Abstract

An artificial odor recognition system is developed for discriminating odors. This artificial system consisted of 16 quartz resonator crystals as the sensor array, a frequency modulator and a frequency counter for each sensor that are connected directly to a microcomputer. We have already shown that the artificial odor recognition system with 4 sensors is high enough to discriminate simple odor correctly, however, when it was used to discriminate compound odors, the recognition capability of this system is dropped significantly to be about 40%. Results of experiments show that the developed artificial system with 16 sensors could discriminate compound aroma based on 6 gradient of alcohol concentrations with high recognition rate of 89.9% for non batch processing system, and 82.4% for batch processing of the classes of odors

Abstract

This paper discusses illegal acts that hinder the process of turning over the certificate's name. An unlawful act can be categorized as an unlawful act if the act causes harm to other parties. There are two kinds of losses incurred by unlawful acts, namely material losses, and immaterial losses. With a normative approach, this article finds that an act is categorized as an act against the law if it meets the five elements of an unlawful act. Unlawful acts committed by the seller if based on the Cilacap District Court Decision number 25 / Pdt.G / 2017 / PNClp, namely the existence of an act (the act of buying and selling land), an unlawful act (reselling the object of sale and purchase and delaying the process of returning the name of the certificate), victim losses (immaterial losses), a causal relationship between the act and losses (defendants whose whereabouts are unknown),  the offender's fault (reselling the object of buying and selling land). Thus, the author agrees with the judge of the Cilacap District Court that the lawsuit over the dispute is an illegal act.

Abstract

In this study, additional depth images were used to enrich the information in each image pixel. Segmentation, by its nature capable to process image up to pixel level. So, it can detect up to the smallest part of the object, even when it’s overlapped with another object. By using segmentation, the main goal is to be able to maintain the tracking process longer when the object starts to be occluded until it is severely occluded right before it is completely disappeared. Object tracking based on object detection was developed by modifying the Mask R-CNN architecture to process RGBD images. The detection results feature extracted using HOG, and each of them got compared to the target objects. The comparison was using cosine similarity calculation, and the maximum value of the detected object would update the target object for the next frame. The evaluation of the model was using mAP calculation. Mask R-CNN RGBD late fusion had a higher value by 5% than Mask R-CNN RGB. It was 68,234% and 63,668%, respectively. Meanwhile, the tracking evaluation uses the traditional method of calculating the id switching during the tracking process. Out of 295 frames, the original Mask R-CNN method had ten switching ID times. On the other hand, the proposed method Mask R-CNN RGBD had much better tracking results with switching ids close to 0. Keywords—Occlusion, RGBD, Mask R-CNN, Late fusion, Cosine similarity

Abstract

Assessment of cardiac function using echocardiography is an essential and widely used method. Assessment by manually labeling the left ventricle area can generally be time-consuming, error-prone, and has interobserver variability. Thus, automatic delineation of the left ventricle area is necessary so that the assessment can be carried out effectively and efficiently. In this study, encoder-decoder based deep learning model for left ventricle segmentation in echocardiography was developed using the effective CNN U-Net encoder and combined with the deeplabv3+ decoder which has efficient performance and is able to produce sharper and more accurate segmentation results. Furthermore, the Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling module were added to the encoder to improve feature extraction. Tested on the Echonet-Dynamic dataset, the proposed model gives better results than the U-Net, DeeplabV3+, and DeeplabV3 models by producing a dice similarity coefficient of 92.87%. The experimental results show that combining the U-Net encoder and DeeplabV3+ decoder is able to provide increased performance compared to previous studies.

Abstract

The development of autonomous drone technology has led in their widespread deployment, especially in combat scenarios. One instance of this is the utilization of kamikaze drones, as seen in the Ukraine war. Autonomous defense drones have been used to counter these invading kamikaze drones. This study focuses on simulating scenarios involving invader vs. defender drones, primarily exploring invader drone maneuver motions to maximize damage inflicted on chosen targets. The work we conducted presents an enhanced el-force algorithm that employs Coulomb's Law-based maneuver techniques to improve the effectiveness of multiple kamikaze invader drones when engaging target defended by defender drones. We aim to improve traditional el-force by addressing key challenges such as siege tendencies and unproductive conduct. In addition, we explore various attacking formations to determine the most effective formation. To evaluate the performance of our proposed algorithm, we conducted simulation in a dynamic 3D environment, employing damage inflicted as the evaluation metric. Through rigorous testing, we conclusively demonstrate that our proposed method combining with a circular formation, outperforms alternative attacking maneuvers and formations. Our findings provide insights into optimal maneuver movements and attacking formations, improving the effectiveness of invader drones in engaging and damaging designated targets.
