Abstract

A repository is a system used to store data in the form of information such as archival documents, journals, or papers in an institutional institution. In this research, a repository system design will be made for the Department of Informatics and Computers at the Jakarta State Polytechnic based on the semantic web. Semantic technology allows the system to understand the meaning of information. This repository uses apache jena fuseki as data storage with SPARQL, which is made with the Resource Description Framework scheme. The final result of this research becomes a repository system that has been successfully applied to the final project collection in 2020 with regular and specific search features to facilitate the search for a document

Abstract

The design of a printing application aims to serve customers online in the printing business. This application is in the form of a website to facilitate integration between data and exchange information between customers and employees at Printop printing. Customers can determine the specifications for the products they choose according to their needs. The results of this design to become an application are expected to be a way to simplify the ordering process and be a solution in minimizing the density of visitors at the printing location when orders are getting busy. For customers' convenience, they do not have to wait for the processing time in the immediate place; besides that, the customer can order it anywhere. The test was carried out using a BlackBox, and the score was 90.69%, and the user acceptance test was 90%. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the application is running functionally, and according to user needs.

Abstract

The use of the internet in Indonesia, especially in educational institutions, especially universities, relies on the internet to find a collection of information and references related to courses. One of the units in a university that uses the internet by utilizing a website-based information system is the Jakarta State Polytechnic library (PNJ). Website plays an important role for agencies as a good website reference one of which can be assessed in terms of User Interface (UI) that has an attractive look and User Experience (UX) to improve the convenience of website users. In the development of front end website libraries using the User Centered Design (UCD) method,, bootstrap framework, HTML5 programming language, CSS and Javascript. At the design evaluation stage in the form of a wireframe using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, getting score is 83, blackbox testing to measure website functionality gets results in accordance with the scenario, User Experience Questionnaire(UEQ) testing to measure the comfort level of website users gets positive results.

Abstract

The number of traffic violations that occurred in the Depok area from 2017 to 2019 has fluctuated, from 2017 as many as 33,600 cases, 2018 as many as 52,100 cases and 2019 as many as 42971 cases. In each year an increase in violations occurs and the ability of applications to distribute data will decrease. This happened to the Traffic Unit of the Depok Metro Police, with the increasing number of handling data on accidents and data on violations that occurred in Depok City, of course, it must be balanced with an increase in the system as an online reporting medium. From the above explanation, it can be concluded that to solve this process, it is necessary to have a new architecture, namely the microservice. Microservice allows the development of software functions to be broken down into small, focused service parts, making the service have resource capabilities that can be precisely managed and dividing application functionality into small and interconnected services into a single business application process. This architecture integrates data between units, distributes data related to cases of traffic violations or accidents that occur in real time by local police officers, and provides information on traffic violations and specific accidents.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini akan dijelaskan mengenai sistem pendeteksi dan pengenalan angka pada meteran PDAM menggunakan metode template matching correlation. Tujuan dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah untuk meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan penggunaan air bersih. Secara garis besar sistem ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu pengolahan awal citra, pendeteksian dan pengenalan. Pada tahapan pengolahan awal citra terdiri dari konversi citra, penajaman citra, denoising citra, dan binerisasi citra. Pada tahapan pendeteksian, proses diawali dengan segmentasi citra menggunakan bounding box kemudian dilanjutkan dengan normalisasi citra. Setelah objek angka dideteksi maka dilakukan proses pengenalan menggunakan metode template matching correlation. Pada proses ini suatu citra input akan dibandingkan dengan citra dalam database dengan cara menghitung nilai korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem pendeteksian dan pengenalan menggunakan template matching correlation memiliki tingkat akurasi pengenalan baik dengan akurasi pengenalan 98,86%.

Abstract

Recently, Deep learning methods with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have been widely used for image classification tasks. CNN has an unrivaled advantage in extracting discriminatory image features. However, many existing CNN-based methods are designed to go deeper and more significant with more complex layers that make them challenging to implement on mobile devices or real-time devices that use microcontrollers like raspberry pi, Arduino, and immediately. This is overcome by using a Light Convolutional Neural Network (LCNN), so it needs to experiment to test the difference in LCNN performance on a personal computer and a raspberry pi four microcontrollers with a Raspbian operating system. Experiments will be carried out using several performance measures: accuracy, F-1 score, recall, precision, and time to get performance results from deep learning. As such, the results and model architecture will confirm performance differences across individual devices and show how the model performs on resource-constrained or real-time devices. Tests show that the performance of the raspberry pi, which is a tool with limited resources, does not affect the quality of image recognition but affects the recognition processing time because the raspberry pi requires a longer processing time to perform one data or photo recognition process. This will accumulate the time required for processing many data, so it can conclude that the raspberry pi and tools with limited resources are not very practical for conducting recognition training and carrying out a recognition process that contains a lot of data or photos in one process.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the role of information technology is so large development, this makes many human jobs replaced by computerized system. After that the website can be used for system creation presence of teachers to improve discipline and teaching. During this time, the process attendance data recapitulation still uses books. However, in attendance still using the manual method, namely by initialing or the presence of a picket teacher. That matter can cause several obstacles such as having the risk of being lost or damaged, the occurrence of duplicate data, and will make it difficult to carry out the process presence data search. The method used by the author is Waterfall. Because of the above, the author wants to create a website which can be used to recapitulate teacher presence and time data inteach more efficiently. This website is built using a programming language PHP with Laravel framework and MySQL database along with several stages starting from planning, analysis, system design, display design, program coding, and testing. Making this website can computerize the attendance process which was previously still using the system manually.The test results from Blackbox Testing are 100%, UAT testing is 97% and SUS testing is getting a value of 73.5. So it can be concluded that the website-based attendance application has been successful

Abstract

Koneksi internet bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi sebuah komunikasi layanan file atau data yang sangat dibutuhkan. Pada saat pandemi COVID-19, dimana produktivitas masyarakat saat ini lebih banyak di rumah. Seiring dengan perkembangan penggunaan internet yang melonjak pada saat pandemik COVID, perlu menjadi perhatian karena tidak semua masyarakat yang menggunakan internet sudah berlangganan kepada penyedia internet. Pemberian teknologi tepat guna seperti internet gratis ini bermaksud agar produktivitas masyarakat secara daring dapat lebih meningkat.  Politeknik Negeri Jakarta dalam hal ini Program Studi Teknik Multimedia dan Jaringan bekerja sama dengan Kelurahan Tanah Baru Depok guna untuk menyelenggarakan sebuah program sosialisasi internet positif dan pemasangan internet gratis untuk masyarakat dalam usaha memaksimalkan usaha kecil mikro menengah (UMKM) serta aktivitas daring. Program tersebut dilaksanakan dalam rangka kepedulian dalam penggunaan internet yang semakin meningkat di masyarakat. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran dalam membantu pemerintah atau pelaksana peningkatan penjualan UMKM secara daring. Hal tersebut berguna untuk mengurangi aktivitas di luar sebagai bentuk pencegahan penyebaran virus. Selain itu pengabdian ini menggunakan teknologi nirkabel sebagai media yang menghubungkan perangkat masyarakat menuju akses internet gratis. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu 1) pemasangan perangkat jaringan internet, 2) sosialisasi internet positif dan 3) sosialisasi penggunaan internet gratis. Pengujian dilakukan secara kualitatif untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan. Masyarakat merasa terbantu dengan adanya fasilitas internet gratis dan sosialisasi internet sehat.  Internet connection aims to facilitate a needed file or data service communication during the COVID-19 pandemic, where people's productivity is currently more at home. The community group is the community. Internet use that surged during the pandemic needs to be considered because not all internet users have subscribed to internet providers. The provision of appropriate technology such as free internet is intended to increase public productivity online. In this case, the Jakarta State Polytechnic, the Multimedia and Network Engineering Study Program, collaborates with the Tanah Baru Depok Village to organize a positive internet socialization program and free internet installation for the community to maximize small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and online activities. The program was held in concern for increasing internet users in the community. This program aims to optimize its role in helping the government or implementers to increase sales of MSMEs online. This is useful for reducing outdoor activities to prevent the spread of the virus. In addition, this service uses wireless technology as a medium that connects people's devices to free internet access. The results of community service activities are installing internet network devices, positive internet socialization and socialization of free internet usage. The test was carried out qualitatively to determine community satisfaction with community service that had been carried out. People feel helped by the free internet facilities and healthy internet socialization.

Abstract

Penggunaan internet di Indonesia khususnya di instansi pendidikan terutama perguruan tinggi yaitu mengandalkan internet untuk mencari kumpulan informasi dan referensi terkait dengan mata kuliah. Salah satu unit di sebuah perguruan tinggi yang menggunakan internet dengan memanfaatkan sistem informasi berbasis website adalah perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ). Website berperan penting bagi suatu instansi atau organisasi. Dalam tolak ukur sebuah website yang baik, salah satunya dapat dilihat dari sebuah UI (User Interface) yang memiliki tampilan menarik dan UX (User Experience) untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna website. Dalam pengembangan front end website perpustakaan menggunakan metode UCD (User Centered Design), framework bootstrap, bahasa pemrograman HTML5, CSS dan Javascript. Pada tahap evaluasi design dalam bentuk wireframe menggunakan metode SUS (System Usability Scale) mendapatkan skor 83, pengujian blackbox untuk mengukur fungsionalitas website mendapatkan hasil sesuai dengan skenario, pengujian UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) untuk mengukur tingkat kenyamanan pengguna website mendapatkan hasil positif.

Abstract

Water is one of the keys to the success of rice farming. Rice fields that are always flooded can produce 5.92 tons per hectare while those that are not flooded only produce 4.80 tons per hectare. Irrigation channels that support the availability of water often experience problems such as silt deposits, water distribution based on estimates, and water theft. Therefore, the author proposes an intelligent irrigation system that is able to automate the control and supervision of floodgates through the internet network. The result of this research is a prototype system that can work well, with an average measurement error of 2.1% by ultrasonic sensors, and the conductivity of water flow with silt is above 641 points. Radio-based communications and TCP/IP require lower operational costs than SMS-based GSM methods. Radio-based technology and TCP/IP can save operating costs by 97.5% compared to GSM technology. The system is also capable of sending 16 data to the server in one minute. Overall, the system has worked well to automate the floodgates, and detect sludge.
