Abstract

Changes to the curriculum are a necessity to keep up with developments so that the quality of education improves. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) has issued a policy to implement the kurikulum Merdeka. The Kurikulum Merdeka is a new policy created to improve the education system and quality in Indonesia. By implementing the kurikulum merdeka, it is hoped that it will be able to have a positive impact on students, namely knowledge, skills and character, thereby producing students who are intelligent, skilled and have good ethics. This research was carried out in the form of a literature study, with data sources in the form of research articles and books. The results of the study show that, apart from students, teachers experience a very pronounced impact, especially their readiness to teach. It is hoped that the implementation of this kurikulum merdeka will inspire the next generation to continue to improve themselves to improve quality and competitiveness in the world of education. The implementation of this kurikulum merdeka  is a tool for us to achieve better results and compete in the world of national and international education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting styles self regulated  and mathematics learning outcomes for grade IV students at Suster Singkawang Elementary School. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Suster Singkawang with a sample of 92 students. The data collection tools used were questionnaires to determine parenting patterns and learning independence, as well as mathematics learning achievement tests. Data analysis was carried out by testing the effect using analysis of variance. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, authoritarian and democratic parenting styles do not have an influence on self regulated because the significance value obtained is more than 5%, while permissive parenting styles have an influence on self regulated with a sig value of <5%. Meanwhile, authoritarian, democratic and permissive parenting styles have a positive influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The internal curriculum is a very important aspect for the success and progress of education. Curriculum changes are based on the awareness that developments and changes that occur in social, national and state life in Indonesia cannot be separated from the influence of global changes, developments in science and technology as well as arts and culture. Apart from that, the educational curriculum reform that has been carried out. Judging from the 1975, 1984, 1994, 2004 (KBK), 2006 (KTSP), and 2013 curricula, it has not had a positive impact on the development of quality in the world of education, so that up to now the quality of our education still low. The role of curriculum developers is very important for the world of education to achieve better learning processes and outcomes. This article wants to describe in more detail what curriculum policies are, curriculum changes, problems with curriculum changes, the impact of curriculum changes on learning in schools.
