Abstract

Learning environment can influence the development of the academic and psychological abilities of every human being in his life, including children. This study aims to analyze environmental-based learning as a source of learning for children. The research is qualitative research, and it was carried out at the Cerdas Chilhood Education Program in Sukorejo-Kendal. The subjects of the study were the teacher of Cerdas Chilhood Education Program in Sukorejo-Kendal. Data analysis was done using an interactive model. The results of the study showed that the planning of learning in utilizing the environment of RPS (Semester Program), RPPM (Weekly Program), and RPPH (Daily Program). The implementation of learning in using the environment as a learning resource includes the implementation of opening activities, main activities and closing activities. Assessment of learning in utilizing the environment as a learning resource includes checklists, anecdotal notes, and artworks. The environment used as a learning resource starts from planning, implementation, and assessment including three types of environments, namely the natural environment, social environment, and artificial environment. The obstacles in applying environment-based learning as a source of learning are climates and location of Sukorejo village in a mountainous area that have fairly high rainfall intensity so that sometimes the plans that have been made cannot be implemented and assessed. The participation of parents, teachers, students, and the community is needed to carry out maximum environment-based learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan awareness produk serta peningkatan penjuala dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi digitalisasi. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deksriptif dengan metode pengambilan data berupa survey dan observasi. Dalam kegiatan pengabidan meliputi persiapan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan output program antaranya edukasi tentang NIB, edukasi dan implementasi pemasaran digital serta re-branding produk guna menunjang penjualan dan meningkatkan awareness pelanggan

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of mathematics teaching materials in the context of child-friendly schools from 2019 to 2024. As an approach that links mathematical concepts with local culture, ethnomathematics has great potential to support inclusive, contextual, and meaningful learning, especially in elementary schools. This research uses a systematic literature review method with a biometric approach analyzed using OpenRefine, VosViewer, Biblioshiny, and Microsoft Excel. Data were taken from scientific articles published in the Scopus database with a focus on mathematics teaching materials and the concept of child-friendly schools. The analysis process includes the identification of research trends, collaboration among researchers, geographical distribution, and the visualization of relationships between main keywords in the relevant literature. The research results indicate that the topic of ethnomathematics is gaining more attention among academics, but a lack of teacher understanding and limited teaching materials still hinders its application in the field. Adequate teacher training also poses a barrier to the implementation of mathematics in schools. Nevertheless, the analysis results indicate a significant opportunity for further research, especially with the increase in the number of publications in recent years. This recommends close collaboration between educators, curriculum developers, researchers, and local communities to strengthen the implementation of ethnomathematics in creating an inclusive and child-friendly learning environment to improve the quality of primary education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep hak Allah dan hak hamba sebagaimana terdapat dalam riwayat Mu'adz bin Jabal, serta implementasi pemahaman ini dalam membentuk prinsip diri seorang Muslim dan refleksinya dalam kehidupan modern. Fokus kajian ini adalah menggali makna hak Allah, seperti tauhid dan ibadah, serta hak hamba yang mencakup tanggung jawab sosial dan etika bermasyarakat. Melalui metode studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa memahami dan menerapkan hak Allah serta hak hamba menjadi landasan penting dalam membangun prinsip diri yang kokoh. Prinsip ini membantu individu menjalankan kehidupan yang seimbang antara spiritualitas dan tanggung jawab sosial, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan modern yang sering kali menekankan materialisme dan individualisme. Refleksi dari implementasi ini tampak dalam karakter pribadi yang bertakwa, berintegritas, dan mampu membangun keharmonisan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

This study investigates the emancipatory educational thought embodied by Sayyidah Aishah, a central female figure in the early intellectual history of Islam. The key question it seeks to answer is how Aishah’s role as a transmitter of prophetic knowledge and a critical interlocutor in religious discourse exemplifies a gender-inclusive model of Islamic education. Adopting a qualitative, library-based approach, the research draws on classical sources such as hadith compilations, biographical dictionaries, and tafsir literature, alongside contemporary theories of emancipatory pedagogy. Sayyidah Aishah is positioned not merely as a transmitter of prophetic knowledge but as an epistemic agent who actively challenged androcentric interpretations of Islamic teachings. Through thematic analysis, the study reveals Aishah’s unique contributions to the formation of Islamic jurisprudence and ethics, particularly in areas of gender equity, intellectual accountability, and moral reasoning. The findings suggest that her life and teachings offer a model of resistance to patriarchal constraints in religious education. Her legacy provides a framework for reimagining Islamic education as a space of liberation rather than confinement for Muslim women. Ultimately, the paper affirms that gender justice and Islamic piety are not mutually exclusive but deeply interconnected through historically grounded practices of knowledge transmission.

Abstract

This study investigates the policy dynamics and institutional mechanisms guiding capacity building in Ethiopia’s higher education within the framework of internationalisation and quality assurance. Drawing on a qualitative document review approach, the research analysed government policies, institutional strategies, and accreditation reports to assess how national directives align with global trends in higher education reform. The findings indicate that Ethiopian education policy increasingly incorporates internationalisation goals, such as academic mobility, collaborative research, curriculum benchmarking, and global quality standards. Strategic plans also highlight the importance of institutional autonomy and contextual relevance in Islamic education delivery. Despite this, the study reveals persistent challenges, including inadequate financial support, coordination gaps between agencies, and limited institutional readiness—especially among faith-based universities. Empirical evidence, including national audit reports and academic performance records, points to modest growth in faculty qualifications and research output in recent years, although progress varies across institutions. Thematic analysis suggests that while policy aspirations are clear, the operationalisation of these ambitions remains uneven and highly dependent on external funding and technical assistance. Moreover, the regulatory environment lacks specificity in addressing the dual demands of religious identity and global competitiveness. This paper contributes to ongoing debates on harmonising Islamic education with international academic standards in the Global South. It offers policy-level recommendations to strengthen institutional governance, resource mobilisation, and inter-agency collaboration. Ultimately, the study encourages rethinking capacity building not only as institutional enhancement but also as a culturally grounded and globally oriented transformation process in higher education systems.

Abstract

Islamic value-based character education for early childhood plays a strategic role in shaping morals. However, internalization of hadith in early childhood education (PAUD) is still predominantly memorization-based and does not address affective and behavioral aspects. This study aims to describe the strategy for internalizing hadith values ​​in Smart Kindergarten Sukorejo-Kendal and explore children's responses and teachers' challenges. The method used is qualitative phenomenological with observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. Validity is maintained through triangulation and member checking. The results show that the strategy for internalizing hadith through role models, habituation, storytelling, and Islamic songs and games effectively instills the values ​​of honesty, compassion, responsibility, and justice. Children show enthusiasm, remember the contents of the hadith, and imitate the teacher's behavior. Challenges include differences in family backgrounds, minimal home support, and limited media, which are overcome through parental communication and innovative teaching media. Conclusion: The holistic, contextual, and child-centered internalization of hadith values ​​effectively shapes Islamic character and is recommended for implementation in other PAUDs with the support of teacher training and family involvement.
