Abstract

The activity of making dishwashing liquid soap and clothes washing soap is interesting for the public because it can increase knowledge about how to make soap. Dish washing soap is an ingredient that has become a daily necessity, especially for housewives. The high cost of dishwashing soap products on the market can be overcome by making your own dishwashing soap with good quality and more economy that can be used for daily needs or for sale. With self-made cleaning soap. This can reduce household expenses for buying market cleaning soap because the soap is made cheaper and more soap products are produced. The aim of this activity is to provide education and training in making dishwashing soap and clothes washing soap that is safe to use to the people of the Katangka area, Gowa Regency. The method used in this activity was in the form of counseling and providing tutorials on making dishwashing soap which were listened to directly by the participants present. The number of participants who attended this service activity was 39 people, all of whom were residents of Katangka Village, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This activity provides results in the form of increasing knowledge and skills for the community regarding making dishwashing soap and clothes washing soap products that are safe to use. This activity went smoothly as planned. Participants are very enthusiastic about taking part in training that can increase their skills and at the same time create new and independent entrepreneurs and turn them into business opportunities. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that training in making dish soap and clothes washing soap can increase the knowledge and education of the people of Katangka Village, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency in making safe washing soap products.

Abstract

This review aims to provide a complete overview on the modification of polymer and biopolymer membranes into nanocomposite membrane materials. Fabrication of nanocomposite membranes is carried out by incorporating inorganic filler materials in nanoparticle sizes. Nanomaterials refer to the class of materials that consist of particulate substances with any dimension of less than 100 nm at least. The properties of nanomaterials include large specific surface area, crystalline structure, shape (that regulates most of its properties as well as their unique attributes), surface morphology, and assembling phenomena. This review primarily concentrates on the recent nanotechnology-based practices to enrich the outcomes of desalination on the footings of nanocomposites, developed practicing distinct nanomaterials. A classification for various forms of nanomaterials used for building nanocomposites has also been illustrated. Special emphasis has been given to the usage of nanocomposites constructed from several nanomaterials such as nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanoshells, nanofibers, nanocapsules, nanosheets and quantum dots, and how these nanocomposites have been utilized for desalination.

Abstract

Sistem pelayanan kesehatan tradisional merupakan bagian dari sistem kesehatan nasional. Saat ini kesehatan tradisional diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 103 tahun 2014 Tentang Pelayanan Kesehatan Tradisional. Penggunaan tanaman sebagai obat telah dikenal sejak lama oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini menjadi warisan turun-temurun yang masih dapat ditemui dan masih dilestarikan di wilayah Indonesia. Salah satu wilayah Indonesia yang memiliki keragaman hayati adalah Pangkep (Pangkajene Kepulauan). Kekayaan alam ini dapat diinformasikan dan dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat daerah Pangkep dan sekitarnya salah satunya sebagai bahan pengobatan. Adanya penggunaan tanaman obat (herbal) yang masih kurang tepat dapat memberikan efek samping terhadap kesehatan di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan beberapa tanaman yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan obat-obatan tradisional dan penggunaannya yang aman dan tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah dalam bentuk penyuluhan yang disertai dengan diskusi. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif yakni adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat Kelurahan Bonto Perak Kecamatan Pangkajene Kabupaten Pangkep terhadap berbagai herbal dan penggunaannya yang aman dan tepat.
