Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student mathematics learning outcomes. The reason is the lack of full delivery of lessons and students have not fully understood the material. One alternative to overcome this problem is to implement a complete learning model with peer tutoring methods. The purpose of this study: 1) to describe the improvement of students 'mathematics learning outcomes through the application of a complete learning model with material peer tutoring methods to construct flat-side space for junior high school students, 2) to describe students' responses to the application of the complete learning model with peer tutoring methods. classroom action research with quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Research location in Tuban 7th Middle School. The subjects studied were students of class VIII E. The instruments used were learning outcome evaluation test sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the study concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes in the application of the complete learning model with peer tutoring methods had increased. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes of the first cycle of 88, the second cycle of 89 and the third cycle of 97. So there is an increase in the average mathematics learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle of 1 and from cycle II to cycle III amounting to 8. And the percentage of classical completeness in cycles I, II and III reach 100%. While the student response to the application of the complete learning model with peer tutors is included in the criteria very effective, with a percentage of positive responses of 96% and the percentage of negative responses of 4%.

Abstract

Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI pada tahun 2019 menegaskan bahwa ada kebijakan baru dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya kurikulum merdeka. Kurikulum merdeka bertujuan untuk memulihkan pembelajaran pada saat pandemi covid 19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Palang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa guru matematika kelas 7 & 9 sudah siap dLm mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka sedangkan guru matematika kelas 8 belum siap dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Karena kurikulum merdeka baru diterapkan di kelas 7, untuk kelas 8 & 9 belum menerapkan kurikulum merdeka. Kata Kunci: kesiapan Guru, Implementasi, Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach aimed at describing the process of solving mathematical problems based on students' multiple intelligences. The subjects of this study were students of class XI of SMK Negeri 2 Tuban in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Determination of the subject resulted in four research subjects where 2 subjects represented the type of logical-mathematical intelligence and 2 subjects represented the type of visual-spatial intelligence. The research data were obtained from written tests, interviews, and multiple intelligence tests. The data analysis technique uses 4 steps, namely verbal data transcription, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study explain that the visual-spatial subject completes 4 stages of problem-solving, namely understanding the problem, determining the problem-solving strategy plan, implementing the problem-solving plan, and reviewing the answers. While the logical-mathematical subject completes three stages of problem-solving, namely understanding the problem, determining a problem-solving strategy plan, and carrying out problem-solving plans.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kreativitas matematika peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Brondong yang rendah. Peserta didik hanya mengikuti cara-cara yang diberikan guru saat menyelesaikan soal sehingga ketika berhadapan dengan soal yang belum pernah dicontohkan, peserta didik kesulitan dalam mengerjakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada tanggal 25 mei 2023 di kelas 8A SMP Negeri 1 Brondong bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kreativitas matematika peserta didik usai diterapkan Project based Learning. Project based learning diterapkan selama tiga siklus dan tiap akhir siklusnya peserta didik diberikan tes dengan soal-soal open ended untuk mengukur tingkat kreativitas matematikanya. Dengan penerapan selama tiga siklus, kreativitas matematika peserta didik mengalami pengingkatan hingga berada pada kategori cukup/sedang yang mana sebelumnya pada saat pre-test berada di kategori sangat rendah. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pada penerapan di siklus pertama rata-rata kreativitas matematika peserta didik adalah 1,5 yang mana termasuk kategori sangat rendah. Pada siklus kedua kreativitas matematika peserta didik mengalami kenaikan. Rata-rata kreatifitas matematika peserta didik di siklus kedua adalah 4,15 sehingga termasuk kategori sedang. Lalu pada siklus terakhir kreativitas matematika peserta didik adalah 11,78 yang mana adalah kategori cukup/sedang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there is still a lack of students' understanding of the material presented, resulting in students having difficulty solving mathematical problems. This study aims to examine whether there is a significant effect of the application of a realistic mathematical approach to the mathematical problem solving abilities of Grade VIII students of junior high school. This research is a quantitative study using pre-test and post-test control group experimental designs. The study population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tuban with a total of 256 students, with a sample of 32 students in class VIII C as the control class and class VIII D as an experimental class of 32 students and were selected using cluster random sampling technique. In this study the experimental class will be subjected to a realistic mathematical approach while the control class will be subjected to conventional learning. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The observation method is used to find out whether the application of a realistic mathematical approach is working or not in learning, both seen in the activities of teachers and students. Meanwhile, the test method is used to obtain data about mathematical problem solving abilities on the subject of Statistics. This test technique was carried out after the treatment was given to the experimental class and control class with the aim of obtaining final data. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Through the t-test it can be seen that the average post-test score of the control class students was 64.06 and the average post-test score of the experimental class students was 74.47. The results of the study show that there is a significant effect of applying a realistic mathematical approach to students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activities and student mathematics learning outcomes after the application of the Talking Stick Learning Model and Cross Puzzle Media were applied to the material on the Two Variable Linear Equation System. The results of this classroom action research analysis showed that student activity during the application of the Talking Stick learning model with crossword puzzle media had increased. This can be seen from the average student activity classically in the first cycle of 69.23%, the second cycle of 88.46% and the third cycle of 100%. Meanwhile, students' mathematics learning outcomes after the application of the Talking Stick learning model with crossword puzzle media had increased. This can be seen based on the test scores of students' mathematics learning outcomes in the application of the Talking Stick learning model with crossword puzzles media that have reached learning completeness. The average value of pre-cycle student learning outcomes with an average of 59.09 student learning outcomes with 25% classical learning completeness, cycle I with an average student learning outcomes of 60.84 with 38.46% classical learning completeness, cycle II with The average student learning outcomes of 92.30 with 100% classical learning completeness and cycle III with an average student learning outcomes of 98.60 with 100% classical learning completeness.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science of logic, abstract objects, concepts that are equally related to each other whose reasoning is deductive. Solving mathematical problems plays a significant role in schools, where students are required to have the skills to solve mathematical problems correctly and thoroughly. In solving mathematical problems linking thinking activities, one of which is critical thinking. Based on the observations that the researchers tried when they were tutoring tutors at one of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Palang, it was found that one of the cases was about students' critical thinking in solving mathematical problems that were still lacking. This can be seen from the number of students who still have not mastered the case on questions and students tend to use the quick formula. Therefore, critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems need to be studied further. More so seen from the different learning styles of students. For this purpose, researchers are interested in studying the case by giving the title "Profile of Students' Critical Thinking in Solving Mathematical Problems in terms of Learning Styles". The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. This research aims to describe the profile of students' critical thinking in solving mathematical problems that have visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. The research results show that the subject's critical thinking skills with visual learning styles can fulfill 5 of the 6 critical thinking markers which include, Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity. And the critical thinking ability of subjects with auditory learning styles can fulfill all critical thinking markers which include Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, Overview. And the critical thinking skills of subjects with kinesthetic learning styles can fulfill 3 out of 6 critical thinking markers which include, Focus, Reason, Clarity.

Abstract

Asistensi Mengajar merupakan salah satu program flagship kemendikbudristek dalam Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka atau MBKM. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan belajar di luar kampus melalui dukungan pendidikan pada satuan pendidikan dengan bimbingan pengawas lapangan. Metodologi pelaksanaan dukungan pendidikan yang diterapkan adalah metode observasi. Metode ini dipilih karena memungkinkan penulis melihat secara langsung apa yang diuji. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan penunjang pendidikan di sekolah, mahasiswa berperan aktif dan mengikuti berbagai aktivitas baik akademik maupun non akademik, formal dan nonformal di sekolah, yang dalam hal ini bertempat di SMP Negeri 1 Brondong Kabupaten Lamongan. Aktivitas itu diantaranya adalah: kegiatan peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa, membantu proses pembelajaran, adaptasi teknologi, kerjasama, manajemen sekolah, dan berpartisipasi dalam seluruh kegiatan sekolah.

Abstract

This development study uses a qualitative approach and Didactic Engineering (DE) research methods. The aim of this research is to develop an AI-based learning model by combining discovery and problem based learning models involving mathematics students at PGRI Ronggolawe University, Tuban. AI or artificial intelligence is a tool that needs to be optimized in various fields, especially in the field of mathematics education. Meanwhile, mathematics education has issues related to problem solving on discrete mathematics topics. Starting from this issue, this research tries to offer a solution, the result of which is an AI-assisted blended learning model to improve combinatorial thinking. Through the combination of these models, a combination of syntax is obtained, namely: (1) Orientation; (2) Organization; (3) Exploration; (4) Execution; (5) Evaluation; (6) Generalization. This combination also considers the methods used, namely online and offline. Stages (1) and (2) are carried out offline via the LMS and quiz provider application. Meanwhile, Stages (3) and (4) were carried out involving Question AI. Stage (3) is carried out with the Geogebra alternative auxiliary application. Then stages (4) and (5) are carried out using technology-assisted presentations.

Abstract

Pendidikan merujuk pada proses memperoleh pengetahuan dan etika untuk diterapkan dalam masyarakat. Saat ini, pendekatan pendidikan mengalami perubahan dengan menekankan keikutsertaan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang mendukung pendekatan berfokus pada peserta didik adalah Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengkaji hasil belajar dan aktivitas peserta didik kelas IV SD melalui penerapan metode Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam kerangka lesson study. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, di mana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Hasil studi menunjukkan adanya kenaikan signifikan dalam pencapaian belajar peserta didik. Pada Siklus 1, hanya terdapat 4 peserta didik (28,57%) yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, namun pada Siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 7 peserta didik (53,85%), dan terus meningkat pada Siklus 3 dengan 11 peserta didik (68,75%) yang tuntas. Selain itu, aktivitas peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan, dari 73,8% pada Siklus 1, menjadi 82,04% pada Siklus 2, dan 85,41% pada Siklus 3, menunjukkan bahwa metode PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik. Dari hal tersebut, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan PBL dalam kerangka lesson study dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman dan aktivitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di sekolah dasar.
