Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in motivating children to learn the Qur'an in TPA Sidomulyo and the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The subjects selected were parents who had children reading the Koran at the TPA using purposive sampling. Based on the selection of these subjects, 4 parents would be the main sources, and 3 children and 1 ustadz as informants. The results and discussion will describe the role of these parents. This research was conducted in Sidomulyo, Tumbang Tahai Village, Palangka Raya City. The results of this study found the role of parents in motivating their children to learn the Qur'an. The role of parents in motivating learning the Qur'an is influenced by several factors, namely supporting factors, 1) the will of the child, 2) the child's motivation, and 3) the environment, as well as inhibiting factors, 1) laziness, and 2) the busyness of parents.

Abstract

Along with the times, the da'i began to use social media as a medium of da'wah calling for good and forbidding evil. One of the most popular da'wah content creators today is Habib Jafar. Researchers are interested in analyzing the preaching style of Habib Jafar through YouTube in conveying the context of peaceful Islam because he is a da'i who is suitable to be juxtaposed with religious figures other than Islam, and audiences can universally accept his da'wah. Habib Jafar's da'wah content can attract the attention of millennials in the digital era to keep them enthusiastic about following studies on Islam. This study uses a qualitative research approach with library research methods. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The subject of this research is Habib Jafar, and the object of this research is Habib Jafar's da'wah style. The result of this research is to know the process of implementing Habib Jafar's da'wah to millennials who are armed with communication styles, depth of intellectual competence, open thinking, and positive views on the audience as well as the success of Habib Jafar in carrying out interfaith da'wah which is the result of a combination of communication skills and understanding the characteristics of communication opponents and having flexibility in delivering da'wah so that the messages conveyed can be adequately described.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pohon literasi yang bermanfaat untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca siswa dan sebagai sumber belajar siswa di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode service learning (SL) yang dilakukan secara langsung. Metode service learning dilakukan untuk memberi pemahaman siswa terhadap penggunaan media pohon literasi di MTs Mumtaz Palangka Raya. Selain itu media ini diterapkan guna meningkatkan minat baca dan sebagai sumber belajar siswa disekolah. Manfaat lainnya yang diperoleh melalui penerapan media tersebut adalah sebagai tambahan wawasan guru dalam memilih dan membuat media yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berliterasi dan keterampilan lainnya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca atau berliterasi siswa serta sebagai sumber belajar yang baru.

Abstract

Mustafa Sabri (1869-1954) was the last Islamic sheikh of the Ottoman Caliphate who adhered to the traditional madhhab, as depicted in his work entitled Mauqif al-'Aql wa al-'Ilm wa al-'Aalam min Rabb al-'Alamin wa Ibadihi al-Mursalin. The central issue in Sabri's work revolves around countering the secularization of the Islamic world, particularly the efforts led by Mustafa Kemal Pasha. This research adopts a library research approach, focusing exclusively on analyzing Sabri's Mauqif al-'Aql wa al-'Ilm wa al-'Aalam min Rabb al-'Alamin wa Ibadihi al-Mursalin as the primary source. The findings of this research reveal that, according to Sabri, religion is the most fundamental principle, one that is unchangeable by anyone. Sabri clearly distinguishes between faith and deeds, emphasizing that Islam is primarily a religion of faith rather than merely one of deeds. This is because, in Sabri's view, a person's faith determines whether their deeds are accepted in religion.

Abstract

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) are commonly used strategies by companies to achieve growth, expand market share, gain access to new technologies, and attain competitive advantage. However, the M&A process does not always go as planned and can face complex challenges. Many companies experience failures in executing mergers and acquisitions, which impact organizational performance and shareholder value. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the factors that influence success and failure in this process, particularly in the context of multinational companies like PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The literature suggests that there are numerous factors contributing to the success or failure of mergers and acquisitions. These factors include clear strategies and objectives, effective operational integration, organizational culture management, strong leadership, effective change management, human resource management, and external factors such as market conditions and regulations. It is important for companies to carefully consider and manage these factors in their merger and acquisition processes. The case study of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk serves as the focus of this research article. The company has undergone several mergers and acquisitions in its history, including notable acquisitions like PT Rexona Indonesia and PT Annapurna. Therefore, analyzing the factors influencing success and failure in the mergers and acquisitions of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk can provide valuable insights for other companies planning M&A in the future. This research adopts a qualitative approach by collecting data through relevant literature studies, financial reports, and company publications. The collected data is then systematically analyzed to identify the factors influencing the success and failure of mergers and acquisitions in PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. The findings of this research are expected to provide better insights and understanding of the factors influencing success and failure in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the context of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. With a better understanding of these factors, companies can take appropriate steps to enhance the chances of success in the M&A process.

Abstract

The role of the father in the family has an important role, social construction in society shapes the role of the father as afigure who is the head of the household, provides for and is arole model for his children. This study explores the dynamicsof well-being in adolescents who lose a father figure in thetransition to adulthood. Focusing on fatherless adolescents, the research was conducted in the environment of MTs DarulUlum Palangka Raya using descriptive qualitative methodswith 14 subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed to understandthe factors that influence the wellbeing of fatherlessadolescents. The results showed that fatherless children tendto experience difficulties in emotion regulation, socialinteraction, self-esteem, decision making, and managingstress. The lack of a father figure negatively impacts theiremotional development. It is important to deeply understandthe dynamics of fatherless adolescents' well-being in order toprovide appropriate support for their development. Propermentoring, understanding, and support from the closestenvironment, especially parents, play a major role in helpingfatherless adolescents manage emotions, make decisions, andimprove their emotional well-being. The implications of thisstudy suggest the need for public awareness, inclusiveeducation programs, and psychological support for fatherlessadolescents to optimize their well-being holistically.

Abstract

Manifesting law off attraction is the law of attraction in the mind, what we think is a reflection of the tremendous force that is going to happen, if we think about it will send a signal that is realized in the real world. These goals or targets will increase mental thinking because the goals or targets that are thought of will motivate a person to behave and act, especially if he is confident that these goals and objectives will be achieved. The many tasks that accumulate, the competition of the modern era and the problems of life that plague fresh graduate students can they always think positively even with complicated circumstances, because at that age they really start life to work, prepare themselves to ease the burden on their parents, and some even think about building a household. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, which produces descriptive data in the form of words or sentences that are written systematically. The data collection technique was through interviews and documentation with students who had graduated from college, with a total of 10 male and 12 female students. The data analysis technique with interactive analysis focuses on extracting the meaning of the words and sentences used by the respondents during the interview. In conclusion, most new graduates always think positively in order to complete their studies. In fact, positive thoughts always make them very confident that they will get a good job and live a good life

Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this study is the need for effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes, particularly in Fiqh subjects at madrasahs. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model within the Merdeka Curriculum to improve student learning outcomes in madrasahs. The research employed a quantitative method, with participants comprising Fiqh teachers at Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN) and 10th-grade students in the religious studies program. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the application of the PBL model effectively enhances student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test results. At the first MAN, the average pre-test score of 74.8% increased to 88.2% in the post-test, showing an improvement of 13.4%. Similarly, at the second MAN, the average pre-test score of 75.2% rose to 87.5% in the post-test, with an improvement of 12.3%. This study concludes that the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in enhancing Fiqh learning outcomes among 10th-grade students in Islamic Senior High Schools, while also contributing positively to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Academic stress is an internal pressure experienced by students due to demands in the learning environment that feel heavy.  Therefore, students need to have the ability to always positive feelings, so that they are not easily stressed due to academic pressure.This study aims to explore the role of positive vibes in preventing academic stress in students of MTsN 1 Palangka Raya. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the subject of 10 superior VIII grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Result show that relaxation techniques, time management, and self-healing effectively reduce stress. Methods for building positive vibes include having broad insights , emotional regulation, and inspiring others. This implementing these methods in modern educational settings. Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam membangun kesiapan belajar siswa merupakan aspek fundamental dalam proses pembelajaran yang efisien dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kemampuan guru dalam membangun kesiapan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran keagamaan di MAN Kota Palangka Raya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian mencakup guru mata pelajaran Fikih, Al-Qur’an Hadis, Akidah Akhlak, dan SKI. Analisis data yang diterapkan mengacu pada model Milles dan Huberman, yang mencakup proses pengumpulan data, penyederhanaan data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membangun kesiapan belajar siswa. Signifikansi ini tentu saja tetap tergantung pada bagaimana guru mampu menerapkan metode pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, pemberian motivasi, serta pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang relevan kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan menjadi rujukan bagi penelitian lanjutan terkait pengelolaan kelas dan kesiapan belajar siswa.
