Abstract

Penggunaan rajah tubuh atau tato di kalangan orang Kristen di Kota Kinabalu telah menjadi polemik. Ada yang menganggap tato sebagai tindakan ekspresi seni, bahkan untuk menunjukkan identitas diri sebagai orang Kristen, dengan menggunakan simbol kasih, salib, merpati, gambar Yesus dan ayat Alkitab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas apakah ada titik paralel dari sudut etika antara merajah tubuh dan firman Tuhan dengan menggunakan Imamat 19:28 sebagai dasar pembahasan. Metode yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dalam memahami tato sebagai ekspresi seni atau antitesis firman Tuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada titik paralel antara penggunaan tato dengan Imamat 19:28 yang melarang dengan tegas perbuatan merajah tubuh. Nasihat rasul Paulus dan rasul Petrus dalam Perjanjian Baru juga tidak memihak kepada pemakai tato yang dikatakan dapat merusakkan tubuh yang merupakan bait suci Roh Kudus. Apa yang dibutuhkan adalah bimbingan yang ramah dari gereja terhadap mereka yang memakai tato dan bukan penghakiman. Larangan penggunaan tato perlu digunakan melalui khutbah, seminar dan KKR agar dapat dipahami dengan tuntas oleh umat Kristen. Sesungguhnya, perhiasan yang sejati bukanlah perhiasan secara lahiriah, tetapi perhiasan batiniah yang tersembunyi iaitu sikap, karakter dan perilaku yang penuh kesopanan dan kesederhanaan.

Abstract

Everyone requires good digital awareness in the industrial era 4.0, where the digital role is attached to every financial activity. As a result, the goal of this study is to examine the impact of financial literacy on digital awareness. partially, the effect of financial literacy on managerial positions, and see the effect of financial literacy on digital awareness through managerial positions. This study was guided by a quantitative method with a correlational design and logistic regression data analysis. The sample used was a convenience sample, with 239 Adventist University of Indonesia alumni filling out the questionnaire. Partially, no significant effect was found between financial literacy and managerial position, but the mediating variable "managerial position" can increase financial literacy. Managers play an important role in increasing financial literacy and providing employees with optimal digital awareness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the purpose of worship based on John 12:1-12. The method used in this article is literary research or literature with a descriptive approach. As Christians the purpose of our worship is to glorify God's name, God-centered worship should be where God is glorified, regardless of the human factor. The purpose of worship is not only to receive blessings from God, but also to give offerings to God.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the moral crisis that occurred in an Adventist Christian high school. The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of moral decadence on character education and counseling guidance, as well as the effect of character education on counseling guidance. This quantitative research uses structural equation modeling (SEM). The data collection technique used random proportionate cluster sampling, with 553 students from three schools as the sample. The results of the study have an effect on positive moral decadence on character education and counseling guidance. Meanwhile, character education has a negative effect on counseling guidance. In conclusion, inconsistent character education results in moral decadence which requires students to do counseling, so character education must focus on one day-to-day rather than focus on student mistakes so that the process is consistent. Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada krisis moral yang terjadi di sekolah menengah Kristen Advent. Tujuan penelitian untuk meng-identifikasi pengaruh dekadensi moral terhadap pendidikan karakter dan bim-bingan konseling, serta pengaruh pendidikan karakter terhadap bimbingan konseling. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struk-tural (SEM). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan random propor-sionate cluster sampling, dengan 553 siswa dari tiga sekolah sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkann bahwa dekadensi moral berpengaruh positif ter-hadap pendidikan karakter dan bimbingan konseling. Sementara pendidikan karakter berpengaruh negatif terhadap bimbingan konseling. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan karakter yang inkonsistensi mengakibatkan dekadensi moral yang mengharuskan siswa melakukan bimbingan konseling, sehingga pendidikan karakter harus berfokus kepada situasi sehari-hari daripada fokus mencari kesalahan siswa agar prosesnya konsisten.

Abstract

This research wants to find out whether there is an influence between the variables of financial planning, Social Shopping and Financial Behavior. This research is directed at students and sees whether student Financial Behavior is good enough which is influenced by financial planning and Social Shopping carried out. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The correlational design seeks to investigate the values of two or more variables and test or determine the relationships or interrelationships that exist between them in a particular environment. There is a not very strong influence between Financial planning and Social Shopping, there is a weak influence between Financial planning and Financial Behavior, there is a strong influence between Social Shopping and Financial Behavior and the mediating variable Social Shopping has a moderate influence on financial planning and Financial Behavior. Our findings suggest that Social Shopping can be a stimulator of financial planning and Financial Behavior.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe, first, the sense of ownership variable affects involvement in service. The second is the influence of the spirituality variable on involvement in service. The third is the effect of pastoral care on involvement in ministry. Fourth, whether the variables of belonging, spirituality and pastoral assistance have an influence on involvement in service. This study uses a stratified random sampling technique with 110 correspondent the Seventh Day Adventist congregation in Batam. The data that was successfully filtered through the validity test and the classical assumption test were processed to make the regression analysis equation as follows: Y =  0.249 X1 + 0.135 X2 + 0.132 X3 + 10.866. Where variable Y is involvement in ministry, variable X1 is sense of belonging, variable X2 is spirituality, and variable X3 is pastoral care. Hypothesis testing using the t-test proves that separately and simultaneously the sense of belonging, spirituality and pastoral care that have been studied have an effect on the involvement of church members in ministry. Hypothesis testing using the F test also proves that the variables of belonging, spirituality and pastoral assistance to the service involvement variable are 46.8%, and the rest there are other factors that influence 53.2% which were not examined. Keywords: Sense of belonging, Spirituality, Pastoral care, Church minister

Abstract

The church is a the gathering of believers who walk together in conveying the mission of the message to the world. In fulfilling this vocation mission the church has a method that moves and grows. This growth is due to the methods and ways of translating the mission of the church. Community church is one method for fulfilling the church's mission. A church community that tries to convey its mission in a way that is out of the ordinary that takes place in the main church, both from the liturgical and media delivery point of view, is typical of the community church itself. In the Bible itself, the community church played an important role in the development of Christianity. The movement that started in Jerusalem as recorded in Acts 2:41-47 is an example of the community church movement. By using a qualitative method through collecting data from primary sources, namely the Bible and also references regarding the growth of the church, both books and journal manuscripts. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide information about one method of church growth, namely a community church that seeks to convey its mission along with the development of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of total assets and audit quality on audit delays in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of research used is quantitative research. This study used secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is a manufacturing company in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period, totaling 30 companies. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The samples obtained were 27 companies so with observations for three years the total sample was 81. The analysis methods used are Descriptive statistical analysis, multiple Linear Regression, Hypothesis Testing (Correlation Coefficient Test and Coefficient of Determination), and Model feasibility (Statistics f and Statistical t)). The results of this study show that Total Assets do not affect Audit Delay, Auditor Quality affects Audit Delay, and Total Assets and Auditor Quality together affect Audit Delay in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the healing method that Jesus used during His ministry in this world, and to examine the relevance of His healing method in today's times, and to analyze the extent to which the doctrine of justification by faith is able to provide a solution for healing the diseases for church members and also as a tool to prevent the church members from disease. This research is a writing that is produced through a literature review by researchers who are described descriptively. Through this research it was found that the method that Jesus used during His ministry shows that the faith of the sufferer determines his healing, not only physically but also mentally and spiritually. The relevance of the healing method that Jesus used in the New Testament era to today is still very influential which is mixed through the doctrine of justification by faith. The doctrine of Justification by faith is not only able to heal sufferers but is also effective in preventing church members from suffering from any illness
