Abstract

In the tvMu news broadcast program, a shooting technique that can produce good video quality is needed to be broadcast. Because this shooting technique is needed in visual communication technology, especially in the field of videography. The purpose of this study is to determine the shooting angle in the tvMu news broadcast program and to determine the image size that determines the quality of the content of the tvMu news broadcast program that is broadcast. This study uses a qualitative method that is used to explain how the shooting technique is in the tvMu news broadcast program. This tvMu news broadcast is presented to obtain information about the association and national that can invite important figures of Muhammadiyah. This was done through in-depth interviews with several informants and triangulation. The results of this study revealed the shooting techniques used in tvMu news broadcasts, including various shooting types, image composition, aspect ratio, frame size, and camera movements.customers.

Abstract

Media massa sebagai alat komunikasi menjadi semakin penting. Televisi telah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan hiburan masyarakat yang utama di era komunikasi seperti saat ini. TVRI Nasional menyiarkan program Indonesia Raya Jelajah Sains yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan literasi masyarakat akan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses produksi tayangan program dokumenter Indonesia Raya Jelajah Sains di TVRI Nasional dari pra produksi, produksi, pasca produksi serta mengetahui hambatan dan tantangan dalam proses produksi program dokumenter Indonesia Raya Jelajah Sains di TVRI Nasional. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori proses produksi Wibowo (2017). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk menguraikan tahapan produksi yang meliputi pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Informan pada peneltian ini berjumlah empat orang, dua informan kunci dan dua informan sebagai pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi program ini melibatkan perencanaan yang matang, pengumpulan data yang komprehensif, serta penyajian informasi yang edukatif. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi hambatan dan tantangan yang dihadapi selama proses produksi, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan waktu.

Abstract

Social assistance programs often face problems. The purpose of this study is to identify causes of these problems and solutions, primarily related to communication elements that accompany program implementation. This qualitative descriptive research uses a literature review. Data are analyzed to answer the objectives. The results showed that problems in the social assistance program are essentially due to poor data integration and integrity, weak oversight systems, corruption, and political intervention. In the communication element, these problems are included in the environmental element (from bureaucracy, data, and systems that are also problematic). The problems in this element trigger problems in other communication components, which are: the communicators, messages, channels, receivers, and effects. Its each solution: digitalization procedures, real-time data synchronization, transparency, law enforcement; improving integrity, ethics, and data understanding of service communicators in the field; information must be clear, open, persuasive, and educational regarding rights and assistance procedures; integration of digital channels and personal channels; encourage a proactive public and take firm action against laws; strive for a positive impact on social assistance recipients. The research recommends a communication strategy model for social assistance distribution, taking into account each element of communication.

Abstract

The documentary “Jejak Rasa, Ruang Hidup” explores the interconnection between urban spaces and the traces of taste embedded in emotions, memories, and community identity, with Surya Kencana, Bogor, chosen as a representative public space. Through a soft news approach, this work emphasizes narrative strength, atmosphere, and emotional experiences emerging from culinary traditions and intergenerational social interactions. Within the production process, the role of the camera person is crucial in capturing visuals that convey the cultural values and atmosphere of the area. The camera person does not merely operate as a technical image recorder, but also as an active observer, sensitive to moments, rhythms of activity, and human expressions within the public space. The main tasks of a camera person include selecting appropriate angles, compositions, and camera movements to support the documentary’s narrative. The use of varied shots such as wide shots to depict spatial context, medium shots to highlight social interactions, and close-ups to capture emotional expressions serves as a visual strategy to strengthen the connection between urban space and collective identity. Furthermore, the camera person is responsible for maintaining visual continuity to ensure that the footage aligns with the editor’s needs in shaping a reflective and immersive storyline. The final outcome of the documentary demonstrates that collaboration between narrative, visuals, and audio creates a viewing experience that is both factual and emotionally engaging. Thus, the role of the camera person is proven to extend beyond technical operation, functioning as a creative contributor significantly shaping the documentary’s communicative success.
