Abstract

Agama memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia dimuka bumi ini. Agama berfungsi sebagai penyelaras kehidupan. Dalam kontek perubahan sosial, agama mengarahkan perubahan kearah yang lebih baik. Ajaran agama memiliki pengaruh yang besar dalam penyatuan persepsi kehidupan masyarakat. Kehadiran agama secara fungsional sebagai “perekat sosial”, memupuk rasa solidaritas, menciptakan perdamaian, kontro sosial, membawa masyarakat menuju keselamatan, mengubah kehidupan seseorang menjadi kehidupan yang lebih baik, memotivasi dalam bekerja dan seperangkat peranan yang kesemuanya adalah dalam rangka memelihara kestabilan sosial.

Abstract

Keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran dapat mengakibatkan kurangnya antusias peserta didik untuk fokus dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan karena keterbatasan waktu guru untuk mempersiapkan dan membuat media pembelajaran, sehingga guru hanya menggunakan buku pelajaran sebagai pegangan untuk memberikan materi kepada peserta didik. Penggunaan buku pelajaran tidak cukup untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, dibutukan media pembelajaran agar proses pembelajaran berjalan menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran yang layak dan praktis digunakan, berupa media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning yang dibuat menggunakan aplikasi scratch. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning menggunakan scratch pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning memperoleh nilai rata-rata 91,11% (Sangat Valid) dari ahli media, 71,42% (Valid) dari ahli bahasa, dan 100% (Sangat Valid) dari ahli materi. Hasil uji coba lapangan pada peserta didik kelas IV memperoleh nilai rata-rata 95% (Sangat Praktis). Oleh karena itu, produk media pembelajaran berbasis game based learning menggunakan scratch pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV yang dikembangkan peneliti layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the meaning of gemstones and their impact to the society. Thiis research uses qualitative approaceh with Miles and Huberman (1992) point of view on the meaning of symbols. The research finding shows that there are several meanings on the gemstone booming in the center of gemstone market in Palembang, among others are:; gemstones are the symbol of salvation, fortune, affection, security, social statuses, and charisma. Meanwhile the gemstone booming has an impact on social and environtment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang interaksi sosial pada masyarakat Islam Melayu dan Non Melayu yang ada di daerah Sukabangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan berpedoman pada pendapat Miles & Hunberman yakni: reduksi data, penyajian data, verivikasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian di peroleh bahwa Bentuk-bentuk interaksi sosial pada masyarakat Islam Melayu dan Non Melayu Sukabangun Soak Simpur adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Gotong Royong membersihkan Lingkungan (2) Gotong-royong pada hari-hari besar (3) Undangan Warga (4) Undangan Pesta (4) Tolong menolong ketika ada musibah. Abstract

Student teams’ achievement divisions (STAD) is a learning method that can provide active responses to students so that learning is maximized, but this method is still very rarely used by social studies teachers, thus making social studies learning less than optimal. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the question students have method in social studies learning to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The procedure divides two class groups experimental and control using a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. A sample of 122 seventh-grade kids from a junior high school in Yogyakarta was utilized as the population. While instruments, interviews, and observations were employed in the data collecting process, cluster random sampling was the sampling strategy. An N-gain score test and an independent sample T-test were utilized in the data analysis. The findings demonstrated that, when compared to traditional classroom settings, the STAD's social studies teaching methodology was able to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. The N-gain score test was classified as medium, and the independent sample T-test yielded a significance value of 0.0000.05. Thus, the STAD approach has a huge influence, which makes.

Abstract

The commendable morals exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. as a human example through one of his characteristics, namely honesty. However, the world of education is currently starting to experience decadence in morals. Dishonesty stems from things like cheating and lying. Class teachers play a role in the formation of students personalities. Therefore, honest character must be instilled as early as possible in elementary students so that it becomes a provision for life in society. This research aims to describe role of class teachers in cultivating students honest character values along with supporting and inhibiting factors. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The results of this research indicate that the role of class teachers in cultivating students honest character is the role of teachers as teachers, role models, educators, mentors and motivators. Supporting factors for class teachers in cultivating students honest character values are habituation at school, communication between teachers and parents, and involvement of the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are family, peers, and students self-awareness. This research emphasises the importance of the classroom teacher's role in teaching honesty to students to shape moral and ethical character. Teachers are expected to be teachers, role models and motivators who create an environment that supports honesty. Suggested follow-up actions include increasing cooperation between schools, parents and communities to build a sustainable culture of honesty, as well as providing training for teachers in effective teaching methods. The research also encourages further study of inhibiting factors related to the role of family and social interaction among peers.

Abstract

The phenomenon of street children in big cities, including Palembang City, is a complex social problem that requires special attention. These children generally come from poor or unstable families and are forced to work on the streets to survive or avoid dysfunctional home conditions. This study aims to analyze the social life system of street children through the perspective of Talcott Parsons' organic system and the perspective of utilitarianism. The method used is qualitative analysis based on interviews, street children's questionnaires, and Palembang City community questionnaires. Based on the organic system theory, street children are the result of family failure in providing social support and stability, thus encouraging children to meet their needs independently. Meanwhile, from the perspective of utilitarianism, although living on the streets is full of risks, these children can still feel happiness through freedom, autonomy, and the opportunity to earn their living. Thus, street children's existence is influenced by family failure and rational decisions that give them a sense of comfort and freedom outside the home, and economic factors strongly influence both.
