Abstract

Kemampuan dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi pengolah data seperti Microsoft Excel merupakan keterampilan penting di era digital. Namun, keterampilan ini masih terbatas di kalangan santri pesantren. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi santri tingkat SMP di Yayasan Rumah Yatim dan Pesantren Ruhama dalam penggunaan Microsoft Excel. Metode pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan (observasi, konsultasi, dan penyusunan materi) dan tahap pelaksanaan (pemberian materi serta praktik langsung). Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para santri mampu memahami dasar-dasar penggunaan Microsoft Excel, seperti pembuatan tabel, penggunaan rumus sederhana, serta pengolahan data. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan dasar teknologi para santri yang dapat menunjang proses belajar mereka serta menjadi bekal dalam menghadapi dunia kerja di masa depan.

Abstract

An effective project management system is a crucial need in software development and other IT projects. This study aims to design and evaluate a web-based project management information system with integration of collaboration, scheduling, and reporting features based on real-time data. This study adopts a combined approach from three previous studies, namely a NodeJS-based collaboration system, a CodeIgniter project management system, and a PERT-based evaluation approach. The implementation results show increased teamwork efficiency, reporting accuracy, and managerial ability to anticipate project obstacles. This system is suitable for application in various scales of IT projects.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven many companies to shift from traditional IT infrastructure to cloud-based solutions in order to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security. This study discusses the migration process of PT. Warsoon Maju Bersama’s internal IT system from an on-premise environment to cloud computing using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The project employed a hybrid methodology, combining the Waterfall model for the initial planning stages and Agile for development and testing phases. The project was divided into six main phases: assessment, architecture planning, cloud environment implementation, data and application migration, testing, and cutover with training. The results show that the migration process was successfully completed within 28 weeks, with minimal downtime, a performance improvement of 18%, short term IT operational cost savings of 15%, and enhanced infrastructure scalability and security. The project evaluation highlights the importance of comprehensive initial assessments, continuous IT team training, and effective change management. These findings provide a significant contribution as a structured and successful cloud migration case study in the logistics industry.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa melalui pendekatan inovatif di kalangan siswa/i SMK Al-Hidayah Ciputat dengan memanfaatkan algoritma AI, materi pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar individu siswa. Acara ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Mei 2024 di lokasi sekolah, melibatkan siswa/i dan tenaga pengajar sebagai fasilitator. Program ini mencakup sesi pengenalan program AI, serta edukasi tentang etika dan keamanan penggunaan Artificial Intelegence. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman materi terhadap penggunaan AI, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal penting bagi siswa/i dalam era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the free services of three AI platforms—ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek—in assisting undergraduate students in developing thesis proposals. The comparison was carried out using a unified prompt: "Create a structure for a thesis proposal titled 'Development of Academic Information System for University XXX Based on Website Using Waterfall Method'." The outputs were analyzed qualitatively based on completeness of structure, relevance to the topic and methodology, use of academic language, and coherence. The results show that ChatGPT tends to produce the most complete and structured academic response, Gemini provides fast and concise output with a fact-based orientation, and DeepSeek focuses on technical details. These findings can guide students in selecting the most appropriate AI tool to support academic writing tasks.

Abstract

Nutrition is a substance that influences the development of the human body so that the body's functions run as they should. Nutritional status is a condition where nutritional intake is balanced with the body's needs. If a child has excess nutritional intake, it is not good for the body. Posyandu officers record children's weighing data, detect the child's nutritional status and then provide a report on the child's nutritional data to the community health center. Data collection on children's nutritional status at the Posyandu is still manual in the form of data being recorded on paper, which can cause data to be lost, damaged, torn, and nutritional data. children are scattered, or piled up with other information. Therefore, we need a web-based application for checking children's nutritional status with the Body Mass Index (BMI) standard for assessing children's nutritional status, so that children know the ideal weight and height to prevent obesity or malnutrition so that children can adopt a healthy lifestyle. The research method used in this research is Agile Development Software which consists of requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and evaluation. Then, in making this application, we also used the CodeIgniter 3 Framework. This application is expected to help Posyandu officers and parents in collecting data and detecting children's nutritional status based on Body Mass Index standards.

Abstract

Percepatan inovasi teknologi informasi membuat perusahaan perlu beradaptasi melalui pemanfaatan media digital sebagai saluran utama penyampaian informasi dan publikasi. PT Kreasi Pertama Kita, yang bergerak di bidang percetakan digital, belum memiliki platform web resmi untuk menampilkan profil perusahaan secara profesional. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi company profile berbasis web dengan pendekatan Agile Development, yang memungkinkan proses perancangan berlangsung secara fleksibel dan berulang sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi internal. Perancangan dilakukan menggunakan UML, sedangkan implementasi memanfaatkan PHP serta MySQL. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan mampu menampilkan informasi perusahaan, layanan, galeri, dan kontak secara dinamis dengan tampilan responsif di berbagai perangkat. Sistem ini berfungsi sebagai media promosi digital yang lebih representatif serta pendukung peningkatan citra perusahaan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi (TI) telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam pengelolaan sekolah, khususnya melalui Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) sekolah. Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana pemanfaatan TI dapat meningkatkan efektivitas SIM sekolah, dengan fokus pada manfaat, tantangan, dan strategi optimalisasi. Menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa TI meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data, transparansi, dan pengambilan keputusan, namun dihadapkan pada kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi pelatihan intensif dan integrasi sistem berbasis cloud. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman praktis bagi sekolah dalam mengadopsi TI untuk manajemen yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires educational institutions to manage data and information more effectively to support strategic decision-making and improve reporting accountability. Management Information Systems (MIS) are a crucial instrument because they can integrate data in a structured, accurate, and timely manner, thus supporting data-driven decision-making. This article aims to analyze the role of MIS in strategic decision-making in the digital era, identify its contribution to optimizing reporting accountability in educational institutions, and explain the factors influencing the success of MIS implementation in digital reporting management. The research method used is a qualitative approach through a literature review, reviewing various books, journal articles, and relevant scientific sources. The results of the study indicate that MIS plays a significant role in providing objective information, supporting data-driven decision-making, and increasing transparency and accountability in academic and financial reporting. The success of MIS implementation is greatly influenced by the competence of human resources, the readiness of technological infrastructure, and the support of leadership and organizational policies. Thus, MIS can be viewed as a strategic pillar in strengthening the governance of educational institutions that is professional, transparent, and adaptive to the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged organizations to utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) to support operational activities and enhance employee performance. The use of MIS is expected to improve work productivity by providing faster, more accurate, and well-organized information. This study aims to examine the effect of Management Information Systems on employee work productivity in the digital era. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees in organizations that have implemented MIS. The data were analyzed descriptively to assess the relationship between MIS usage and employee productivity. The results indicate that the implementation of Management Information Systems has a positive impact on work efficiency and helps employees complete tasks more effectively. Therefore, Management Information Systems can be considered a key supporting factor in improving employee productivity in the digital era.
