Abstract

The building construction will decrease with an increased service life of the structure. The school building for SMP Negeri 2 Meulaboh West Aceh is one of the school buildings that need attention from the government. Much of the building damage is due to age and improper maintenance methods. This study aimed to determine the maintenance priorities of the structural and architectural elements of the SMP Negeri 2 Meulaboh school building. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Primary data was collected through surveys, interviews, documentation, and distributing questionnaires, while secondary data was collected from related institutions or agencies. Data analysis was processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The selection of sample respondents is not random/nonrandom sampling but is carried out using purposive sampling. The analysis results of the order of priority for the maintenance of structural elements the priority, namely, the column, the type of damage to the chipped concrete cover gets the highest priority with a priority value of 0.359. While the second priority is for architectural elements, namely ceilings, walls, doors, windows, and floors, the damage to fading ceiling paint gets the lowest priority with a value of 0.016.

Abstract

Abstract: Meulaboh, the capital city of West Aceh District, was attacked by the earthquake and tsunami on December 26, 2004. Another earthquakes in 2010 and 2012 remind people to pay more attention on managing the evacuation. Lesson learned from those years, everyone was panic and tried to evacuate themselves by heading to a safe area. Consequently, the traffic was sprawled and  unmanageably leading to severe congestion. The most common evacuation routes used by the people are Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Jalan Generation and Jalan Kayee Puteh. According to the results, the existing evacuation routes were still in normal conditions and feasible as shown by the degree of saturation (DS) 0.75. In contrast to that, based on public perception, Jalan Singamangaraja was not feasible as shown by DS 0.75.Keywords : earthquake, tsunami, evacuation route, feasibility studyAbstrak: Kota Meulaboh merupakan Ibukota Kabupaten Aceh Barat yang terkena dampak gempa dan tsunami pada tanggal 26 Desember 2004. Gempa bumi di Tahun  2010 dan Tahun 2012 menjadi pengingat akan gempa bumi dan tsunami dahsyat yang terjadi tahun 2004. Dalam kejadian tersebut, masyarakat terlihat panik dalam melakukan evakuasi, sehingga pergerakan masyarakat menjadi tidak terkendali dan menimbulkan kemacetan parah.Kemacetan lalu lintas pada ruas jalan Sisingamangaraja yang merupakan jalur evakuasi juga terjadi, dimana masyarakat berusaha menyelamatkan diri dengan menuju ke daerah aman (gampong lapang).Analisis ketiga jalur evakuasi eksisting mengidentifikasikan bahwa Jalan Sisingamangaraja merupakan jalan yang paling banyak dipilih masyarakat sebagai jalur evakuasi, sedangkan Jalan Generasi dan Jalan Kaye Puteh merupakan jalur alternatif. Sesuai hasil perhitungan, kondisi eksisting ketiga jalur evakuasi tersebut masih dalam kondisi normal dan masih layak karena nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) 0,75. Adapun hasil perhitungan berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat tentang pilihan arah evakuasi pada ketiga jalur tersebut, didapatkan Jalan Sisingamangaraja sudah tidak layak jika ditinjau dari nilai DS 0,75.Kata kunci : gempa bumi, tsunami, jalurevakuasi, analisis kelayakan

Abstract

One of the signalized intersections with four approaches is the BPKP’s intersection at Banda Aceh.  The intersection will be analyzed in the current condition and remodeled using the software SIDRA intersection 8.0. This Software can choose a predetermined minimum capacity for each little movement. Utilizing a video from a collected in the study area, the institute provided the information. Data from a video included vehicle volume, downstream distances, upstream distances, and negotiation distances, as well as transit time. in its current condition. The total flow of demand is 1060 pcu/h. degree of saturation is 1,406, and level of service is F. The remodel of this intersection is analyze the signalized intersection's traffic light cycle time. It is necessary to be able to handle the current that enters the intersection. Total flow of demand in remodel condition of BPKP's intersection at Banda Aceh is 1060 pcu/h, degree of saturation is 0,765, and level of service is C.

Abstract

Socializing disaster education in schools is crucial to prevent and reducing disaster risk. Not only need to be delivered to formal education and non-formal educational institutions. This is in line with the Regulation of the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency No. 4 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Disaster Safe Schools/Madrasahs. One of them is education in Dayah Tahfiz Annisa. In Dayah Tahfidz, Annisa consists of students for elementary to high school children. The students in Dayah still do not understand the science of disaster education. The methods used in disaster education learning are ICT, Example Non Example, and Question & Answer. The result is that the students have increased knowledge of disaster response, awareness, and resilience. Socialization about disaster education that is adapted to the content of boarding schools. So far, the students in Dayah still do not understand the science of disaster education. The methods used in disaster education learning are ICT, Example Non-Example, and Q&A. the result is that the students have increased knowledge of disaster response, disaster awareness, and disaster resilience.

Abstract

Persimpangan merupakan daerah dimana bertemunya dua atau lebih ruas jalan yang menyebabkan terjadinya persilangan antar kendaraan yang melintasi jalan tersebut sehingga rentan terjadinya konflik. Konflik tersebut menyebabkan tundaan dan antrian kendaraan sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja suatu simpang. Persimpangan tak bersinyal yang dikendalikan oleh bundaran hanya ada beberapa di Kota Banda Aceh, salah satunya adalah Simpang Pena Banda Aceh. Simpang ini merupakan pertemuan tiga ruas jalan yaitu Jl. Teuku Nyak Arief (Darussalam), Jl. Teuku Nyak Arief (pusat kota), dan Jl. Laksamana Malahayati. Berdasarkan data volume kendaraan yang cukup tinggi pada ketiga ruas jalan tersebut dan peningkatan jumlah kendaraan setiap tahunnya akan memperburuk kinerja simpang terutama pada kondisi jam puncak (peak hour). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut kinerja simpang pada kondisi eksisting, yaitu simpang tak bersinyal dengan bundaran. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program SIDRA (Signalised and Unsignalised Intersection Design and Research Aid) Intersection 8.0 dalam menentukan kinerja simpang berdasarkan 4 parameter yaitu kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan dan tingkat pelayanan. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan derajat kejenuhan simpang pada jam sibuk sebesar 0,167, tundaan yang terjadi pada simpang sebesar 2,3 detik dan tingkat pelayanan simpang adalah LOS A. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada kondisi eksisting Simpang Pena Banda Aceh saat ini masih memiliki kinerja yang sangat baik dimana kendaraan bebas menentukan kecepatannya, namun harus ada penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memprediksi sampai kapan simpang ini dapat dilalui pengendara dengan nyaman tanpa adanya konflik yang menyebabkan kemacetan pada persimpangan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Derajat kejenuhan, Tingkat pelayanan, Tundaan, SIDRA Intersection 8.0, Simpang tak bersinyal ABSTRACT An intersection is an area where two or more roads meet that create crossing road between vehicles which cross the road, it prone to bring some conflicts. The conflict causes delays and queues of vehicles that affect the performance of an intersection. There are only a few unsignalized intersections controlled by roundabouts in Banda Aceh City, one of it is SimpangPena Banda Aceh. This intersection is a confluence of three roads, namely Jl. Teuku Nyak Arief (Darussalam), Jl. Teuku Nyak Arief (city center), and Jl. Laksamana Malahayati. Based on the data, the volume of vehicles is quite high on each road and the increasing number of vehicles every year will worsen the performance of the intersection, especially during peak hour. This study aims to find more about the performance of the intersection in the existing conditions, namely an unsignalized intersection with a roundabout. This study uses the SIDRA 8.0 Intersection program to determine intersection performance. Based on the result of the study, it found that the degree of saturation at the busy hour intersection was 0.167, the delay occurred at the intersection was 2.3 seconds and the service level was LOS A. Based on these results, it can be concluded that in the existing condition of the Pena Banda Aceh Intersection currently still has good performance because vehicles are free to determine their speed. Further research should be done to predict how long this intersection can be passed by drivers comfortably without any conflicts causing congestion at the intersection.Keywords: Degree of saturation, Level of service, Delay, , SIDRA Intersection 8.0, Unsignalised Intersection

Abstract

Drones are advanced technology that can help humans in transportation because they can see almost everything and save human energy. In fact, in some cases, they may not disrupt traffic like regular vehicles. The Technical Guidance Activity to Increase Capacity in the Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is intended to provide West Aceh District Land Service officials with insight and knowledge about the use and utilization of drone data. The purpose of this service is to provide an introduction and insight to West Aceh District Land Service officials regarding the use and utilization of drone data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) as well as providing direction and knowledge about the steps for implementing the use and utilization of drone data. The Technical Guidance Activity for Increasing the Capacity of Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for West Aceh Regency Land Service officials is an activity held by the USK Forestry Research Center in collaboration with Teuku Umar University on Wednesday 15 February 2023 from at 08.30 until finished. The theme of the material provided is Mapping Using Drones and its application in making contour maps with the help of GIS applications. The method used is a presentation. With this technical guidance regarding the Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), participants understand the ease of processing map data, especially those related to land mapping.  Keyword : Drone, UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Mapping

Abstract

Studi ini berfokus pada masalah pengelolaan parkir di Swalayan Sejahtera Blangpidie, yang mengalami peningkatan jumlah kendaraan, terutama di waktu siang dan akhir pekan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana perubahan volume parkir, akumulasi parkir, dan durasi parkir mempengaruhi efisiensi pengelolaan parkir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pola parkir, kapasitas parkir, dan indeks parkir untuk menghasilkan saran pengelolaan yang lebih efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengamatan langsung dan penghitungan statistik untuk volume, akumulasi, durasi, dan pergantian parkir pada waktu tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah parkir meningkat secara signifikan selama jam sibuk, dengan tingkat tertinggi pada hari Minggu sore. Akumulasi parkir yang tinggi dan indeks parkir menunjukkan bahwa ada kebutuhan akan peningkatan kapasitas atau manajemen yang lebih efisien selama jam sibuk. Salah satu keuntungan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang metode pengelolaan parkir yang lebih efisien dan efektif untuk mengatasi kepadatan kendaraan yang tinggi, terutama saat jam puncak. Dengan bantuan penelitian ini, ilmu yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan ruang parkir dan teknologi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas parkir telah dikembangkan. Kedua ilmu ini dapat diterapkan pada manajemen fasilitas umum lainnya.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah plastik bersama masyarakat, proses dan pengelolaanya menjadi paving block ramah hingga produk ini diharapkan mampu menjadi suatu bagian dari wirausaha baru yang layak untuk dijalankan hingga dapat merubah dan menambah pendapatan masyarakat. Inovasi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah eco paving block. Metode untuk mencapai target dengan menggunakan model Technical Assistence dalam bentuk Training dan Pendampingan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah dan memanfaatkan sampah plastik terhadap masyarakat pengrajin paving block. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyuluhan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan paving block. Hasil evaluasi terhadap peserta untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengolahan sampah plastik dan peserta mampu membuat paving block dengan baik. Diharapkan eco paving block yang dihasilkan akan menjadi produk yang dapat dipasarkan dan membuka peluang usaha  dan kegiatan ini dapat diduplikasi sebagai bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat di gampong – gampong yang lain di Kabupaten Aceh Barat.
