Abstract

The Community Empowerment Program in the Implementation of the Permata Pomaa Stunting Handling Model based on Digital Education and the Development of GITOK (Hydroponic Technology Nutrition) was carried out in Simpang Lhee Village, West Langsa District, where the target partners involved in this activity were the target partners of the Non-Productive community group, namely Posyandu cadres and the target partners of the Productive community group, namely the Awaina UMKM This village was recorded as having 341 families at risk of stunting caused by the community's low understanding of nutrition, the habit of giving low-nutrition foods such as instant noodles and used cooking oil, and economic factors that limit access to healthy food. Irregular children's eating patterns and the habit of letting children have difficulty eating without solutions have worsened this situation, as well as the weak economy of the community in the village, where Simpang Lhee Village, West Langsa District is also included in the area with the extreme poverty line. Awaina UMKM has been involved in the production of shrimp paste, salted fish. However, so far the production produced by Awaina UMKM is very limited and its marketing is only in the local area of Langsa City. As a solution, this program presents a technological and empowering approach to Stunting Management PERMATA POMAA based on Digital Education through the development of the PERMATA POMAA & GITOK digital education application. This application provides information regarding the Supplementary Food Menu for children, how to regulate diets, baby massage and Tuina massage to increase appetite. In addition, the program also encourages the use of home gardens as hydroponic-based nutritional gardens to provide affordable and independent healthy food ingredients. The program implementation includes stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and periodic evaluation.

Abstract

Abstract

One of the causes of maternal death is prolonged labor, which is caused by abnormal uterine contractions that prolong labor time and labor pain, so that preventive efforts are needed, one of which is through pelvic rocking birthball therapy and cold compresses. Birthball is a physical therapy ball that helps the progress of labor, while cold compresses have an analgesic effect to reduce labor pain. The purpose of the study was the effect of Pelvic Rocking Birthball and Cold Compresses on labor progress and labor pain in the first stage of the active phase in TPMB, Lhoksukon District, North Aceh Regency. The research method was Quasy Experimental with a Posttest only control group design. The population of mothers giving birth in TPMB M, Lhoksukon District with a sample size of 50 samples consisting of 25 treatment groups and 25 control groups, consecutive sampling technique. The research instrument used a partograph for labor progress and a face scale (Wong-Baker face Pain Rating Scale), Data analysis used Independent Samples T-Test. The results showed that the administration of Pelvic Rocking Birthballs and cold compresses had an effect on labor progress (P-value 0.000) and labor pain (P-value 0.000). The average length of the first active phase of labor for respondents who used Pelvic Rocking Birthballs was 5 hours and 52 minutes (faster) compared to the non-treatment group. This proves that pelvic rocking birthballs and cold compresses are effective in increasing labor progress and reducing labor pain.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the determinants of measles immunization status among children under five affected by disasters in North Aceh Regency in 2026. A quantitative, retrospective analytical approach was employed, utilizing a case-control study design. The results indicate that the flood emergency disrupted various sociodemographic, epidemiological, and enabling factors. However, multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that "Maternal Attitude" (p = 0.003; OR = 0.188) was the most dominant predictor of immunization status for children under five in the disaster-affected area. In conclusion, strong internal motivation and proactive maternal psychological autonomy proved capable of overcoming other external barriers. Variables such as family support, measles severity, parental occupation, information quality, and maternal income lost statistical significance in the simultaneous analysis; this was due to their transient nature or because their impact was mitigated by the widespread availability of free health services during the disaster emergency response period.   Keywords: Measles, Determinants, Immunization Status, Disaster-Affected
