Abstract

The RSUD Ciamis website functions as a digital platform to deliver announcements, health services, and other health-related information to the public and patients. As an official information medium, this website plays an important role in maintaining communication between the hospital, patients, patients’ families, and other stakeholders. However, the current user interface design is considered less optimal in terms of usability, aesthetics, and emotional perspective. Such limitations may reduce user comfort, trust, and satisfaction. Therefore, a redesign of the interface is required, not only focusing on functionality but also considering users’ emotional perspectives and strengthening the brand identity of RSUD Ciamis. This study employed the Kansei Engineering method, which translates emotional impressions into concrete design elements. A total of 50 respondents were involved in evaluating five web interface specimens from Indonesian hospitals using ten selected Kansei words, namely firm, warm, simple, clear, modern, professional, calm, dynamic, clean, and safe. The research procedure consisted of several stages: investigation (selection of Kansei words, translation into semantic differential scales, determination of specimens, classification of design elements, and respondent selection), evaluation (data collection through questionnaires and statistical analysis), and recommendation (PLS analysis and design proposals). The study produced a user interface design for the RSUD Ciamis website that is expected to enhance visual appeal, clarity of information, and ease of navigation. Nevertheless, its effectiveness cannot be assured without post-implementation evaluation. Therefore, further research is recommended to conduct usability testing and explore additional Kansei words to enrich design insights and ensure continuous improvement.

Abstract

PERUMDAM Tirta Galuh Ciamis, as a clean water service provider, faces operational efficiency challenges, including manual customer data management, lack of system integration, and slow response to customer complaints. This study aims to develop a strategic information system (IS) plan aligned with PERUMDAM Tirta Galuh business objectives using the Anita Cassidy method, which consists of four stages: Visioning, Analysis, Direction, and Recommendation. The analysis was conducted using the Anita Cassidy method, which consists of four stages: Visioning, Analysis, Direction, and Recommendation. Value Chain approach to map business activities, Five Forces to assess competitiveness, and SWOT to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The research findings indicate that PERUMDAM requires digital-based information system enhancements, such as the development of a customer mobile application, integration of billing systems with GIS, as well as improvements in IT infrastructure and data security. The strategic recommendations include four priority projects: (1) Integrated Customer Management Information System, (2) Mobile Application for Payments and Complaints, (3) SCADA/IoT for Water Network Monitoring, and (4) IT Human Resource Training.

Abstract

The development of the photography industry today is not only determined by the quality of the final photos but also by the convenience and ease of service received by customers. CloudPhoto Studio Ciamis still relies on manual methods to serve its customers, such as through WhatsApp and Instagram, which often lead to problems such as delayed confirmations, poorly organized data, and inconsistent services. This condition highlights the need for a more structured and interactive web-based information system to improve service quality. This research applies the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in the development of a web-based information system designed to enable customers to make reservations, access package and price information, view portfolios, and experience faster, more efficient, and personalized services. The prototype method was used in this study, emphasizing user involvement at every stage. The process begins with communication to gather requirements, quick plan to outline a simple strategy, quick design to produce the initial interface, construction of prototype to develop the system prototype, and delivery & feedback to refine the system based on user input. The results show that the implementation of this web-based CRM system can improve service efficiency, strengthen the professional image of CloudPhoto Studio, and maintain customer loyalty through more personalized services. Furthermore, the system also creates opportunities for the studio to expand its market reach more effectively. Thus, the development of a CRM-based information system can be considered a crucial strategy to support the sustainability and competitiveness of the photography industry.

Abstract

PT. Global Nikel Multiguna still applies a manual system in leave management. This process causes delays, risks of recording errors, data manipulation, and document accumulation. This study was conducted to design a more effective and efficient web-based leave information system using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with four main phases: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. Research data were collected through observation and interviews with the company, then analyzed to formulate system requirements. System modeling was carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, followed by interface design in the form of wireframes, and an initial implementation using the Laravel framework. To ensure the functionality works as intended, functional testing was conducted using the black box method. The results show that the designed system can perform basic functions, namely leave submission, leave approval, employee data management, and report generation according to the company’s needs. However, this study is still limited to the design and initial testing stages, thus it does not yet include deployment and direct user evaluation, and further development is required so that the system can be fully implemented in the company.

Abstract

This study aims to address inventory management problems at Rizki Wholesale Store, which still relies on manual record-keeping. The lack of an accurate prediction system often leads to overstocking of certain items or stock shortages for products that are in high demand by consumers. By applying data mining techniques using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method, this study processes historical transaction data from January to December 2024 to classify 50 types of products into the categories of “Best-Selling” and “Non-Best-Selling.” The analysis results indicate that the KNN algorithm is capable of providing accurate classification based on the proximity distance between sales data points. These findings offer strategic guidance for the store owner in managing inventory procurement, particularly for essential products such as food items and cleaning supplies, which consistently demonstrate high sales performance.

Abstract

Water scarcity and mismanagement represent critical global challenges exacerbated by climate change and rapid urbanization. In response, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have emerged as pivotal technologies optimizing equitable water distribution, real-time monitoring, and sustainable conservation strategies. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA guidelines to synthesize the current landscape of computational AI applications targeting water conservation. From an initial identification of 1,449 records gathered from the Scopus database, stringent inclusion criteria filtered specifically for English publications within the Computer Science structural domain spanning the years 2015-2025. This uncompromising filtration yielded exactly 19 empirical, high-impact peer-reviewed articles for qualitative synthesis. A robust thematic analysis reveals three primary domains mapping this niche research architecture: (1) Precision Agriculture and Smart Irrigation Systems leveraging IoT, (2) Predictive Modeling and Real-time Grid Monitoring for urban leakages, and (3) Water Quality and Biodiversity Modeling. Finally, this review highlights critical future research directions, including the demand for explainable AI (XAI) models in hydrology, resolving data privacy and sparse data scenarios using federated learning, and integrating extreme-event climate indices into dynamic resource planning algorithms.

Abstract

This study proposes an adaptive Scrum model for developing a web-based Wedding Organizer system by integrating structured modeling and iterative development practices. Unlike conventional Scrum implementations, the proposed model incorporates Unified Modeling Language use case diagrams for defining product backlog, working hour-based effort estimation for sprint planning, and a client validation loop to enhance continuous user involvement. The system was developed through iterative sprints aligned with wedding preparation phases, ensuring better synchronization between development activities and real-world workflows. An analyst role within the development team was introduced to maintain consistency between system modeling and implementation. System evaluation was conducted based on ISO/IEC 25010, focusing on functional suitability and usability aspects. The results indicate that all system features operate as expected, and usability testing using the System Usability Scale achieved a score of 82.5, categorized as Excellent. The findings demonstrate that the proposed model improves requirement clarity, planning accuracy, and user involvement, leading to enhanced system usability and development efficiency. This study contributes a structured and practical approach to adapting Scrum for event-based application domains, particularly in Wedding Organizer systems.
