Abstract

Cultural empathy is the ability to feel what another person by an individual or a community group. Culture of others became the foundation behave in every interaction that exists. Empathy has the potential to transform differences into mutual understanding and deep understanding. Similarly, in guidance and counseling, a counselor absolutely have skills in counseling, one of which he must have a sense of empathy. Therefore, empathy is very important, both for educators and for counselors, especially for counselors, provide a sense of comfort to the counselee as if a counselor was feeling what counselees feel and recognize themselves in more depth. As for cultural empathy in counseling is very important for the counseling process is a process aid through the interaction between two individuals of different cultural backgrounds. One problem that often arises is the lack of empathy in communication that could lead to a misunderstanding in interaction. Whereas, the purpose of cultural empathy is to gather information and to establish a therapeutic alliance. This study aims to investigate and describe the cultural empathy in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods, instrument using a questionnaire and the sample was 83 students of UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung. The findings of this research is cultural empathy of student UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung categorized as being with an average by score of 83.84.

Abstract

AbstractThis study based on phenomenon about literacy culture of Indonesian community is low. The problems of this research are: (1) Why tradition of literacy in Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of Sunan Gunung Djati Islamic University is weak?; (2) How to improve tradition of literacy in Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty?; (3) Why is it necessary to improve the literacy tradition of Peer Tutors?This study focuses on three purposes: (1) Identify literacy culture program on students in Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of Sunan Gunung Djati Islamic University before using peer tutor; (2) Describe implementation process of multiple intelligences through peer tutor on studentsâ?? literacy culture: (3) Explain the results of development of studentsâ?? literacy culture based on multiple intelligences through peer tutor. The method of this research is research and development. The result shows that literacy programs in Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of Sunan Gunung Djati Islamic University before using peer tutor have not been planned systematically, only structured learning, such as: papers, book reports and observation reports. Whereas literate culture by using multiple intelligences through peer tutor program can improve the culture of reading and writing because it was implemented using the programs as follows: Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) program: One Day One Article (ODOA) program, and One Month One Book (OMOB) program. Those activities were carried out by literacy community (KOMBIS). Besides, there was the implementation of literacy Journal, workshop, and has created literacy community which consist of 15 students who have the same programs on multiple intelligences.Abstrak :Penelitian ini bertitik tolak dari fenomena rendahnya budaya literasi masyarakat Indonesia. Permasalahannya adalah: (1) Mengapa tradisi literasi di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FTK) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati lemah? (2) Bagaimana meningkatkan tradisi literasi di FTK UIN Sunan Gunung Djati? (3) Mengapa untuk meningkatkan tradisi literasi perlu Peer Tutor? Fokus penelitian adalah: (1) mengidentifikasi program budaya literasi mahasiswa di FTK UIN Sunan Gunung Djati sebelum menggunakan tutor sebaya, (2) mendeskripsikan proses implementasi kecerdasan majemuk melalui tutor sebaya pada budaya literasi mahasiswa, (3) menjelaskan hasil pengembangan budaya literasi berbasis kecerdasan majemuk melalui tutor sebaya. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa program literasi di FTK UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung sebelum menggunakan tutor sebaya belum terencana secara sistematis, pembelajaran hanya dilakukan secara terstruktur seperti: makalah, laporan buku dan laporan observasi. Realitas budaya literasi dengan menggunakan kecerdasan majemuk melalui peer tutor dapat meningkatkan budaya membaca dan menulis karena diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan: Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) program; One Day One Article (ODOA) program, dan One Day One Book (ODOB) program. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan oleh komunitas literasi (KOMBIS) di UIN. Selain itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan jurnal literasi, workshop, dan telah menciptakan komunitas literasi yang terdiri dari 15 mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu internal diterapkan dengan mengacu pada standar nasonal pendidikan, untuk mewijudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Mutu internal kini tidak hanya di terapkan di universitas saja, tetapi di terapkan juga di pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Sehingga penjaminan mutu dan pemenuhan standar mutu pendidikan pada satuan pendidikan dasar dan menengah lebih terjamin dan terarah. Tujuan penelitia ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeksripsikan penerapan siklus Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, kegiatan perbaikan mutu yang diterapkan sesuai dengan tahapan siklus SPMI yang dilakukan di SMP Darul Falah Cihampelas meliputi: Satu, evaluasi diri sekolah yang berdasarkan pada rapot mutu pendidikan, Kedua, perencanaan perbaikan mutu dengan penetapan panitia penjaminan mutu dan menganalisi kermbali hasil evaluasi diri sekolah, Ketiga, pelaksanaan perbaikan mutu, keempat, monitoring evaluasi dan hasil peningkatan mutu setelah dilakukannya perbaikan mutu, dank elima perencanaan mutu kembali untuk tahun mendatang. Hasil dari penerapan penjaminan mutu internal berdampak pada proses pembelajra yang lebih inovatif, prestasi siswa dan pencapaian sekolah, hingga kepuasan pelanggan baik interal maupun eksternal, serta pemenuhan depalan standar nasional pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Penjaminan Mutu, Mutu Internal

Abstract

Laboratorium merupakan tempat pengamanatan, percobaan, latihan dan pengujian konsep pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pengelolaan laboratorium sains meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, regulating, pencatatan, pemeliharaan, dan pendanaan. Fungsi laboratorium sains untuk meningkatkatkan mutu pembelajaran siswa bergantung pada pandangan guru yang bersangkutan terhadap sains dan belajar (learning). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan manajemen laboratorium sains. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa tahapan dalam manajemen laboratorium sains untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ma’arif Kabupaten Bandung. Pada tahap perencanaan meliputi penentuan dan pengadaan alat dan bahan, penggunanaan laboratorium sains, kemudian penyusunan program kerja dan yang terakhir yaitu penentuan sumber daya manusia yang terlibat di laboratorium sains. Tahapan pengorganisasian meliputi job description yaitu pembagian tugas yang jelas bagi para personil petugas di laboratorium, kemudian penjadwalan praktikum di laboratorium sains. Dan tata tertib agar proses kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium sains berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien. Tahapan pengadministrasian meliputi daftar hadir praktikum, buku inventaris, kartu peminjaman alat dan bahan, buku harian praktikum, kartu alat atau bahan yang rusak, dan buku rekap kegiatan praktikum bulanan. Tahapan pendanaan yaitu pembiayaan untuk seluruh kegiatan laboratorium sains bersumber dari anggaran Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ma’arif Kabupaten Bandung yang berupa biaya praktikum peserta didik per bulannya. Faktor pendukung manajemen laboratorium sains untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ma’arif Kabupaten Bandung diantaranya alat dan bahan yang sangat memadai dan menunjang untuk proses praktikum. Sedangkan faktor penghambat diantaranya zat banyak yang kadaluarsa, sehingga memperhambat dalam proses praktikum. Adapun solusi terhadap hambatan dalam manajemen laboratorium sains untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran yaitu perlu adanya evaluasi setiap semester dalam pengelolaan laboratorium sains.

Abstract

This study was aimed at determining the role of city government in cultivating character values based on Sundanese culture local wisdom to develop students’ life skill; describing the process, and impact of character values education; investigating  both supporting  and inhibiting factors of character values education process in developing students' life skills. This study which applied case study was conducted at public and private madrasah aliyah in Bandung. The finding shows that the city government plays important role in developing the Sundanese culture-based character values by issuing a policy in the form of Regulation No. 9 of 2012 concerning the use and preservation of language, literature, and Sundanese script. Madrasah aliyah used learning and mentoring to implement character education program. Character education is supported by several factors and this study found some factors inhibiting character education process.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many transformations and adjustments to our daily activities, including the learning process. Counseling guidance service is a supporting element in the learning process. Teenagers, especially students during the Covid-19 pandemic, face many psychological problems, which result in the need for assistance to help alleviate their problems. One of the forms of assistance is by providing guidance and counseling services. This study aims to understand and identify the management of guidance and counseling services based on cybercounseling in the new normal. The research applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the type of research is library research. The technique for collecting data is to study various reference sources or literature studies related to cybercounseling. The study results stated that the management process for guidance and counseling services based on cybercounseling was the same as the face-to-face counseling process, only that it was necessary to pay attention to the preparation of the equipment used. The advantage of this service is that it can be accessed anywhere and anytime based on mutual agreement. In comparison, the weakness is that students who have never attended counseling before have difficulties developing and predicting appropriate intervention techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of academic services and learning management on the quality of modern pesantren graduates. The quality of academic services is seen by five leading indicators: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Meanwhile, the quality of graduates is seen by three indicators: attitude, knowledge, and skills. The study was conducted at the Modern Al-Ikhlash Putri Islamic Boarding School, Kuningan Regency. The number of respondents is 61 with the calculation of the slovin formula. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by testing the validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression tests assisted by the SPSS application. The research results show that the quality of academic services and learning management simultaneously influence the quality of modern pesantren graduates. It means that pesantren must improve their academic quality to have qualified graduates. Learning management should be used to develop new learning theories.

Abstract

The digital era as the impact of the science and technology revolution is a necessity that cannot be avoided by humans. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic has caused learning to be diverted through online media. Not only subject teachers, but BK teachers also get the impact of technological developments and the covid-19 pandemic at the same time. This study aims to determine the relationship between cybercounseling management and the digital competence of guidance and counseling teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Ciamis Regency. This research is descriptive, the approach used is quantitative with the type of correlation. The technique of data collection is done by using a questionnaire technique (questionnaire). The data analysis technique was carried out in stages, starting from the validity test and the data reliability test. Then a statistical analysis was carried out consisting of a partial analysis per indicator and variable interpretation. Then the correlation analysis was carried out including the normality test of the data, the linearity test of the data, the correlation test, and the coefficient of determination test. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the Pearson correlation was 0.756. Based on the correlation coefficient interpretation table, 0.756 is in the interval 0.60 - 0.799, or is included in the strong category, it can be concluded that the relationship between cybercounseling management and the digital competence of BK teachers in MTs Kab. Ciamis has a strong relationship.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) identify the description of non-financial compensation at the State Aliyah Madrasah in Bandung, 2) describe administrative work loyalty at the State Aliyah Madrasah in Bandung, and 3) analyze the relationship between non-financial compensation and the work loyalty of administrative employees at the State Aliyah Madrasah in Bandung. This study employs a quantitative approach with ex post facto methods. The sample consists of 39 administrative employees selected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and the data analysis technique utilized the SPSS 26 program. The results indicate that the non-financial compensation variable received an outstanding respondent's response of 88.17%, with the Reality (X) Non-financial compensation variable falling into the "Very High" category due to its interval range of 4.20-5.00 and obtaining a value of 4.40. The Reality variable (Y), Job Loyalty, also falls into the "Very High" category, with an interval range of 4.20-5.00 and a value of 4.33. The correlation coefficient value is 0.612, indicating a strong positive relationship as it falls within the range of 0.61 – 0.80.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan yang dirasakan terhadap program Pengembangan akhlak mulia siswa MA. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi akhlak siswa, menyusun serta menghasilkan program untuk mengembangkan akhlak mulia siswa MAN 1 Bandung berdasarkan pemikiran al-Ghazali. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan pada studi pendahuluan untuk menentukan fokus penelitian, penentuan aspek-aspek untuk pengembangan instrumen penelitian. Sedangkan pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan pada pemotretan karakteristik siswa, pembinaan akhlak mulia di MAN 1 Bandung. Strategi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi metode deskriptif dan studi kasus. Hasil temuan di MAN 1 Bandung menunjukkan akhlak mulia siswa menurut aspek kekuatan ilmu berkategori sedang, aspek kekuatan mengendalikan marah berkategori tinggi, aspek kekuatan mengendalikan syahwat berkategori sedang, aspek kekuatan adil berkategori tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan tersebut akhlak mulia siswa perlu ditingkatkan dan dikembangkan.
