Abstract

Using biometric technology for recording attendance in the school environment is still not widely done by researchers. In this study, a solution was proposed to the problems that occurred in the school environment where parents/guardians could not monitor the presence of their children in school. The solution offered is a student attendance recording system based on facial recognition algorithms (face recognition). The built system can record the presence of students when entering the classroom and when returning home or out of class. Proposed methods for identifying student attendance are the Haar Cascade and Eigenface algorithms. The system can also provide notice of attendance or absence of students in real time to parents/guardians via email that has been registered. Based on the test results, the method can provide accurate and fast facial recognition results. The presence system developed based on mobile can recognize faces up to a distance of 200-300 cm with low and moderate light intensity.

Abstract

In the implementation of Tridharma Peguruan Tinggi activities, especially in the field of community service, Budi Luhur University collaborates with residents of Pondok Lakah Permai Ciledug housing, to collaborate in household scale waste management to be used as biogas raw material. The problems faced by residents and environmental managers are rubbish that is not transported then decomposed, the effects of rotting garbage in the open are certainly not good for health. If the waste processing is done by burning it will cause air pollution. To overcome these problems, the waste is processed into biogas through a fermentation process. The fermentation process is used to decompose organic waste into methane gas that can be used for cooking. The role of the community is very necessary to collect raw materials for waste and sort organic and inorganic waste. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to residents of Pondok Lakah Permai Ciledug to separate waste from household waste to be processed into biogas and form a waste bank to collect garbage from residential residents. The method used is to provide counseling and proceed with making biodigesters to process the waste. The results achieved in this activity are that the community has understood to protect the environment and can operate biodigesters so that the garbage that had piled up is now processed into biogas.

Abstract

Budi Luhur University in collaboration with residents of Pondok Lakah Permai Ciledug housing, collaborates in the field of household scale waste management to be used as biogas raw material. The problem faced by environmental managers is that waste is not transported then rot. To solve this problem, the waste is processed into biogas through a fermentation process. The fermentation process is used to break down organic waste into methane gas which can be used for cooking. The role of the community is needed to collect waste raw materials and sort organic and non-organic waste. The purpose of this community service activity is to empower residents to separate waste from household waste to be processed into biogas. The method used is to provide counseling and continue with the manufacture of a waste chopping blender to process the waste. The results of this service can be concluded that the first one has produced a biogas reactor unit and a waste crusher / blender, then after training to the target community on how to make a biogas reactor, the second conclusion is that the two communities can operate the tools that have been made and can also sort waste. as a raw material for biogas. In this activity, the community understands how to protect the environment and can operate a waste chopping biodigester and blender so that the waste that had been piling up is now processed into biogas.

Abstract

Klinik RF Aesthetic adalah Klinik kecantikan, yang ingin memperluas target pasarnya dan mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan, dengan memberikan pelayanan sebaik mungkin. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya dukungan sistem untuk menunjang kegiatan tersebut, misalnya sistem pendaftaran yang dilakukan belum terintegrasi dengan data pelanggan, belum terfasilitasinya sarana menyampaikan saran dan masukan serta testimoni dari para pelanggan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan. Penerapan konsep dasar CRM, merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk memperkuat hubungan dengan pelangan. Dalam melakukan pengembangan sistem, penelitian yang dilakukan ini memanfaatkan metode Waterfaall. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah studi literatur, observasi dan tanya jawab pada tempat terkait. Perancangan sistem menggunakan tool UML, bahasa pemprograman menggunakan PHP dengan framework codeIgniter serta database dengan MySQL. Pada pengujian sistem menggunakan Blackbox. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan berupa web yang berisikan fitur booking online, fitur pendaftaran, fitur pemasaran, dan fitur testimoni. Kata kunci: CRM, Klinik, UML, Waterfall, PHP.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada penelitian ini dibahas tentang pembangkit listrik termoelektrik pada refrigerasi air conditioner. Bagian sistem terdiri dari air conditioner yang sudah dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan 50 buah modul termoelektrik dengan kontroler. Penggunaan termoelektrik bertujuan merubah suhu panas dan dingin pada air conditioner kedalam bentuk listrik. Tegangan yang dihasilkan termoelektrik dikontrol dengan metode fuzzy logic dengan parameter masukan nilai error dan delta error serta keluaran fuzzy berupa duty cycle yang mengatur switching dari DC-DC Converter. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini, air conditioner dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembangkit listrik termoelektrik dengan tegangan open circuit termoelektrik dapat mencapai 14 Volt saat delta temperatur 32,38 ̊ C. Hasil pengujian dengan kontroler fuzzy diperoleh respon sistem dengan delay time 6 menit 18 detik, rise time 5 menit 51 detik, steady state error 0,8 pada set poin 7,2 Volt. Tegangan yang dihasilkan termoelektrik generator dapat digunakan untuk pengisian aki dengan arus pengisian 0,33 mA.Kata kunci: Termoelektrik Generator, Peltier, Air Conditioner, Logika Fuzzy, HVAC ABSTRACTThis research discusses the thermoelectric power generation in the air conditioner refrigeration process. The system consists of air conditioner that has been modified by adding 50 thermoelectric and controller. The voltage generated by the thermoelectric is controlled by the fuzzy logic method with input parameters of error, delta error values, and the output fuzzy is a duty cycle that will regulate voltage of DC-DC Converter. The results obtained in this research, air conditioner can be used for thermoelectric power generation with open circuit voltage without control can reach 14 Volts when the delta temperature is 32.38 ̊ C. The results with fuzzy control system obtained response system with a delay time of 6 minutes 18 seconds , rise time 5 minutes 51 seconds, steady state error 0.8 at set point of 7.2 volts. The voltage generated by the thermoelectric generator can be used to charge the battery with a charging current of 0.33 mA.Keywords: Thermoelectric Generator, Peltier, Air Conditioner, Fuzzy Logic, HVAC

Abstract

Socialization on appropriate energy using energy-saving lamps in RW 004, Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta aims to provide an understanding of how to use energy-saving lamps and save energy to residents in RW 004, Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. This extension activity was carried out using an interactive presentation method. This activity consists of three sessions, namely a presentation on energy saving measures, then a presentation on energy saving lamps and ending with a discussion. This activity received high enthusiasm from residents. Therefore, this education really needs to be developed and carried out in a sustainable manner so that people can continue to broaden their knowledge about energy.

Abstract

In this community service activity, the initiative was carried out with a group of residents who run home-based businesses and are part of the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) group in RW 05 Pinang Griya. Several of these entrepreneurs—most of whom produce food and beverages—are still unfamiliar with the regulations regarding food distribution permits and halal certification for their products. This knowledge is essential to ensure that their products are recognized and guaranteed to be halal. Starting in 2026, Article 160 paragraph (2) stipulates that micro and small business actors (UMK) are subject to a phased obligation for halal certification for food products, beverages, slaughtered goods, and slaughter services. This regulation is expected to influence consumer awareness, particularly regarding the products they purchase. As Indonesia is a Muslim-majority country, such regulation will encourage UMK businesses to certify their products as halal. This, in turn, is expected to positively impact sales performance and contribute to improving the local economic conditions.

Abstract

Storage is a storage medium which is an important part of the system infrastructure. Storage utilization is one of the variables in determining the needs and performance of a system. If the storage is lacking or depleted it will cause the system to be hampered and the possibility of interference occurring. There were eight complaints or reports of system disturbances recorded in the Ministry of Finance's ticketing service desk application caused by anomalies in storage or disk capacity. Things like this can be anticipated if we know the storage capacity requirements for the future. In compiling ICT capacity analysis at Pusintek there has been no use of past data to plan future storage requirements. The use of data mining algorithms can be used to obtain forecast values from storage utilization. The use of the ARIMA model and Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing as a method used to predict inventory is considered to be a fairly accurate model. Both algorithms are used to compare which accuracy is better in predicting storage requirements by measuring RMSE. Research data was obtained from monthly utilization reports from January 2021 to December 2022. From the evaluation results it can be concluded that forecasting storage server database utilization using the Holt-Winters method is better than the ARIMA method with the RMSE results for the Holt-Winters method being 14332.661717740748 and the RMSE method ARIMA is 20498.977982137938. The results of this forecasting can be utilized in planning database server storage needs.

Abstract

Kelompok sadar wisata (pokdarwis) di Kampung Ekowisata Keranggan berfokus pada peningkatan daya tarik wisata sekaligus cita-cita untuk mencapai kemandirian dan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat. Dalam pengelolaannya, mereka didukung oleh dua kelompok penggerak: kelompok home industry makanan ringan dan kelompok budaya serta kerajinan tangan. Kedua kelompok ini memainkan peran penting dalam menyediakan produk oleh-oleh bagi wisatawan. Namun, meningkatnya jumlah pengunjung dan reseller menghadirkan tantangan, terutama kapasitas dan diversitas produk yang harus dipenuhi. Proses produksi manual yang masih dominan tidak lagi mencukupi permintaan ini. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Mercu Buana menawarkan solusi melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna dan pelatihan. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada kesadaran akan pentingnya teknologi, karakteristik produk, dan perluasan pasar. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui kemandirian peserta setelah pelatihan, serta kreativitas produk yang dihasilkan. Tim juga memastikan keberlanjutan capaian dengan melakukan pendampingan dan pengendalian secara terus-menerus, guna mendukung pengembangan dan kesejahteraan ekonomi di Kampung Ekowisata Keranggan
