Abstract

During a period of fast economic expansion and worldwide environmental issues, an increasing number of business owners are incorporating sustainable practices in order to make sure their companies contribute positively to society and safeguard the environment. This research investigates how the consideration of future consequences, attitude, and perceived behavioral control impact the intention to become an entrepreneur among students at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. A total of 77 participants completed a questionnaire to provide data for the study.   The results of the research suggest that the consideration of future consequences does not influence entrepreneurial intention.  However, Sustainable Entrepreneurial Intention is positively impacted by Attitude and Perceived Behavioral Control. This study provides implications for students to get support in increasing their confidence in running a sustainable business, campuses as educational institutions to develop business incubation programs that focus on sustainable entrepreneurship, and the government can design policies that support positive attitudes towards sustainable entrepreneurship among young people, such as incentives and training.

Abstract

Abstract

This research intends to examine the effect of role stress and job insecurity on job burnout and nurses' performance in hospitals. Apart from this, this research also explores the mediating role of workplace anxiety in the context of the bond between job insecurity and work-life conflict. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, information was gathered by means of a survey of 160 nurses at One of the private hospitals in Surakarta. The analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed that role stress had a positive effect on job burnout, while job burnout had a negative impact on nurses' performance. In addition, role stress also had a significant direct negative effect on nurses' performance. Job insecurity was found to have a positive contribution to job burnout and a negative effect on nurses' performance. Workplace anxiety was shown to be a significant mediator in the the correlation between employment insecurity and work-life conflict. These findings confirm that job stress and job uncertainty are the main factors that negatively impact nurses' well-being and performance. Therefore, an effective managerial strategy is needed to reduce work pressure, increase job security, and provide psychological support for health workers in order to improve the quality of health services.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of self-efficacy and prosocial motivation on employee performance in the logistics sector in Surakarta, with a particular focus on the mediating role of work engagement. This empirical quantitative study surveyed 110 respondents and used SEM-PLS to examine how self-efficacy and prosocial motivation directly affect work engagement and employee performance, including work engagement’s mediating role. The findings show that self-efficacy positively impacts both work engagement and employee performance. Likewise, prosocial motivation significantly boosts work engagement and performance. Work engagement stands out as the strongest predictor of performance and plays a key mediating role between self-efficacy, prosocial motivation, and performance. Therefore, strengthening employees’ confidence and prosocial motivation enhances work engagement, which ultimately improves performance in the fast-paced logistics sector.

Abstract

The rapid development of coffee MSMEs in Labuan Bajo, driven by its status as a Super Priority Tourism Destination, highlights the urgent need for better human resource management (HR) practices. Many of these MSMEs still operate HR structures informally, without clear job descriptions, performance evaluations, or motivation systems—which ultimately leads to unclear roles and low employee morale. This community service program aims to strengthen human resource competencies and employee work motivation through a Community-Based Human Resource Management (CBHRM) approach. Interventions were carried out through participatory training, co-designing HR tools (such as visual job descriptions and performance scorecards), as well as structured feedback mechanisms in several selected coffee MSMEs. The results show increased role clarity, stronger engagement, and more effective teamwork. In addition, employee involvement in HR planning helps drive innovation and strengthen organizational culture. The CBHRM model has proven to be effective in aligning local cultural values with practical HR solutions, as well as driving sustainable productivity and job satisfaction.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extension (ICARE) learning model in enhancing students higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) at the junior high school level. The study adopts a quantitative approach using a quasi experimental method. The design employed is a nonequivalent control group design, involving two classes: an experimental group and a control group. The study was conducted in the seventh grade of SMP N 2 Mertoyudan, using purposive sampling for sample selection. The research instruments consisted of eight essay questions for the pretest and posttest, which had been validated for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test and N-Gain. The results of this study showed a significant difference in higher-order thinking skills between the experimental and control classes. Based on the Independent Sample t-Test, there was a clear difference in the posttest scores of both classes with a significance level of 0.000. Additionally, the average N-Gain score for the experimental class was 0.56, while the control class scored only 0.31. From these findings, it can be concluded that the ICARE model is effective in enhancing higher order thinking skills among junior high school students.
