Abstract

Salah satu program implementasi Kampus Mengajar adalah berupa asistensi mengajar untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa dalam membantu proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar di berbagai Desa/Kota di Indonesia, terutama di daerah 4T (Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal dan wilayah Transmigrasi), salah satunya adalah SD Inpres 1 Malawei yang bertempat di Kota Sorong, Propinsi Papua Barat. Pada program ini, mahasiswa yang terlibat memiliki tanggung jawab dalam membantu pihak sekolah dalam proses utamanya yaitu membantu sekolah yang berhubungan dengan administrasi, selain itu dapat pula membantu proses belajar mengajar, membantu proses adaptasi teknologi, dan membantu administrasi sekolah. Selain itu, proses asistensi mahasiswa yang dilakukan berupa tanggung jawab dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi pada siswa-siswi yang berada di SD Inpres 1 Malawei Kota Sorong. Hasil dari program ini yakni berupa peningkatan penanaman empati dan kepekaan social pada diri mahasiswa terhadap permasalahan kehidupan masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan sekitar terutama di bidang pendidikan, mengasah keterampilan dan problem solving dalam bekerja sama di lintas bidang ilmu dan ragam asal mahasiswa, mengembangkan wawasan, karakter dan soft skills mahasiswa, serta meningkatkan peran dan kontribusi nyata perguruan tinggi dan mahasiswa dalam pembangunan sosial.

Abstract

The Jembatan Puri Fish Auction is one of the largest auctions located in the city of Sorong. This auction is the only place where loading and unloading activities start from fishermen, charts, and fishing vessels that are still searching around the waters of the city of Sorong, the auction is an access for fish to enter the city of Sorong. The purpose of this research is to build an android and web-based fish selling application, which is expected to help Andy78's SMEs to increase sales of the products they sell. the method used in building this sales application is using Extreme Programming (XP). This fish selling application was built using the Java programming language to build Android-based models and implementations using Android Studio for making applications and using the PHP programming language for web-based creation, and using a MySQL database as data storage. The results obtained in this study are an android and web-based fish selling application that can have a good impact and make it easier for Andy78 SMEs to carry out the buying and selling process that takes place.

Abstract

The increasing use of wireless networks, such as Indihome WiFi, raises significant concerns regarding network security. Cyber threats like data theft, unauthorized access, and malware attacks can compromise user privacy and data integrity. Therefore, monitoring network traffic is essential to detect and mitigate potential security risks. This study explores the implementation of Wireshark, a widely used network protocol analyzer, to monitor security on Indihome WiFi networks. Wireshark enables real-time packet capture and analysis, allowing for the inspection of data traffic, detection of suspicious activities, and identification of vulnerabilities. This research focuses on analyzing network protocols, identifying anomalies such as unauthorized access attempts, and evaluating encryption effectiveness. The methodology involves capturing WiFi packets, filtering data based on protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, HTTP), and analyzing potential security threats like ARP spoofing or DNS hijacking. The results indicate that Wireshark effectively detects irregular traffic patterns, unencrypted data transmissions, and potential intrusion attempts. However, its effectiveness depends on proper configuration and user expertise in interpreting packet data. The study concludes that Wireshark is a valuable tool for enhancing Indihome WiFi security but should be complemented with other security measures such as firewalls, strong encryption (e.g., WPA3), and regular network audits. Future research could explore automated threat detection integration with Wireshark to improve real-time response capabilities.

Abstract

Occupational accidents represent a major challenge in the construction and manufacturing industries. This study aims to develop a deep learning model for real-time detection of personal protective equipment (PPE) usage using the YOLOv5 algorithm. Utilizing a dataset that includes four classes (hardhat, no hardhat, coverall, and no coverall), the model was trained and evaluated based on precision, recall, and mean Average Precision (mAP) metrics. The results demonstrated that the model achieved a high accuracy level with an mAP of 0.91 and stable performance. The model can also rapidly and effectively detect safety attributes even in complex work environments, such as varied lighting conditions and numerous background objects. Based on usability testing results of 85.35% and satisfactory black box testing, this study produced a prototype web-based application enabling efficient and effective PPE monitoring. The application is designed to support the improvement of workplace safety across various industrial sectors in a more practical and adaptive manner. It is expected to increase PPE compliance, reduce accident risks, and contribute significantly to workplace safety in the industry. The conclusion indicates that the YOLOv5 algorithm holds great potential for implementation in technology-based safety monitoring systems and supports the development of a safer and more modern industry.

Abstract

Purpose: The activities about sustainable sago cultivation techniques aim to increase knowledge and understanding of the Women's Fellowship and PKK farmer groups in the field of sago cultivation. This is because sago is the staple food of the local community in Baingkete and its surroundings. By increasing sago production, it is hoped that it can improve community welfare and reduce dependence on imported food ingredients. Research methodology: The methods applied in this activity include counseling (providing knowledge and understanding about sago cultivation), demonstration and training (direct practice of planting sago on land owned by farmer groups), discussion and consultation, and program evaluation (giving statements to participants before and after training). Result: The results of the activity showed that the participants were quite enthusiastic about asking questions regarding sago cultivation. They are also very active during the practice of planting sago on the land. The level of community knowledge about sago planting techniques has increased about 25%. Training, practice, and field assistance related to sago cultivation also increased from 40% to 85%. Limitation : The practice of sago cultivation techniques is carried out on 1 ha of agricultural land. And knowing how to increase sago production cannot be done immediately considering the length of time the sago plant grows until it can be harvested. Contribution: This activity is beneficial for the community, which learns about sustainable and environmentally friendly sago cultivation practices. This includes sustainable soil management techniques, the use of organic fertilizer, and the maintenance of a healthy ecosystem.

Abstract

Sagu memiliki potensi sebagai sumber pangan kaya kalori dan karbohidrat yang setara dengan beras. Distribusi luas tanaman sagu di Indonesia menjadikannya bahan pangan alternatif potensial untuk produk seperti tepung sagu, sirup, kue, mie, dan bio-etanol. Preferensi konsumen terhadap produk sagu menjadi kunci dalam strategi pemasaran. Kampung Baingkete di Kabupaten Sorong memiliki potensi besar dalam sumber daya alam, terutama sagu yang telah menjadi bagian integral kehidupan masyarakat untuk produksi tepung sagu dan produk olahan tradisional. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kreativitas pembuatan kue berbahan sagu, ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian budaya. Metode meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, demonstrasi, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan di Kampung Baingkete menghasilkan kue berbahan sagu seperti brownies sagu, kue gabus, chookies sagu coklat, dan chookies sagu keju. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menambah nilai ekonomi masyarakat, membuka pasar baru, meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal, serta melestarikan kearifan lokal dan penggunaan sumber daya alam secara berkelanjutan. Pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok PKK sebesar 55%.  Abstract. Sago has the potential as a high-calorie and carbohydrate-rich food source, comparable to rice. The wide distribution of sago plants in Indonesia makes it a viable alternative food source for products like sago flour, syrup, cakes, noodles, and bio-ethanol. Consumer preference for sago products is crucial for marketing strategies. Baingkete Village in Sorong Regency has significant natural resource potential, especially sago, which is integral to local life for sago flour and traditional products. The activity aims to enhance creativity in sago-based cake making, boost the local economy, and preserve local culture. Methods include socialization, training, demonstration, monitoring, and evaluation. Training in Baingkete Village produced sago-based cakes such as sago brownies, kue gabus, chocolate sago cookies, and cheese sago cookies. This activity is expected to add economic value to the community, open new market opportunities, increase local product competitiveness, and preserve local wisdom and sustainable natural resource use. Pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a 55% increase in the knowledge and skills of the PKK group.

Abstract

One of the problems faced by the Indonesian government in the field of education is the equalization of education from Sabang to Merauke in providing quality and superior education. In overcoming this, the Indonesian government runs a program called PIP (Smart Indonesia Program). PIP is a cash assistance program for education aimed at school-age children between 6 and 21 years old who have a low-income economic background so that they can experience fair and equal education services. A person who receives PIP will be given a marker card called the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP). Each educational unit or school has the right to propose students to receive PIP/KIP scholarships through the local Education Office. SMK Kesehatan Nusantara Sorong carries out the selection process for the eligibility of students for the proposal of PIP/KIP recipients which is still done subjectively and manually so that a solution is needed to reduce negative impacts such as not being on target, inefficient time and not being computerized. A decision support system can be applied to overcome these problems. DSS is built by implementing the RAD development method, the MOORA DSS method and the Black Box testing method and Usability Testing. The results of the selection process for the eligibility of PIP/KIP scholarship recipient recommendations on sample data are 20 alternatives with the highest ranking values, namely students 63, 12, 35, 55, 50, 57, 15, 23, 67, 28, 62, 40, 44, 9, 39, 8, 19, 29, 45, and 3 with the highest ranking value of 0.1285. The results of this study are a system that can be used to carry out the selection process for the eligibility of students for recommendations for PIP/KIP scholarship recipients.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran seperti game edukasi merupakan pilihan yang bagus untuk mengajar anak-anak hal-hal baru karena game pada dasarnya dimainkan untuk hiburan dan juga berfungsi sebagai alat pembelajaran yang sangat baik Karena game pada dasarnya dimainkan untuk hiburan, dan pengenalan, pemahaman mengenai alat musik papua ini masih terbatas, terutama di kalangan generasi muda yang cenderung lebih terpapar pada budaya pop dan modern. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya yang inovatif dan menarik dengan adanya game edukasi alat musik papua diharapkan anak - anak anak-anak mungkin lebih tertarik untuk belajar karena mereka dapat berinteraksi dengan materi pelajaran dengan cara yang lebih menyenangkan dan lebih baik. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Multimedia Life Cycle Development(MDLC) versi Luther-Sutopo digunakan untuk membuat Game Pengenalan Alat Musik Papua yang menggunakan Metode MDLC. Penelitian ini menggunakan game engine Unity 3D dan bahasa pemrograman C#. Pada penelitian ini, Usability Testing digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. respondennya terdiri dari 53 anak yang berusia antara 7 hingga 12 tahun. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa respons pengguna terhadap aplikasi sangat positif dan memberikan dukungan yang kuat terhadap keberhasilan pembuatannya, menurut 84% dari peserta. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan game multimedia dengan format .APK pada platform perangkat yang menggunakan sistem operasi Android.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan internet dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada saluran pemasaran konvensional dan membuka peluang kerjasama dengan pelaku usaha di luar daerah. Dalam konteks pemasaran produk lokal, pemanfaatan internet sebagai media pemasaran menawarkan potensi besar dalam mendukung pertumbuhan bisnis lokal dan memperluas akses pasar. Kampung Baingkete, yang terletak di Distrik Makbon, Kabupaten Sorong, Papua Barat Daya, memiliki potensi utama yaitu dalam bidang pertanian, terutama dalam pengolahan tanaman sagu.  Potensi pertanian ini memberikan peluang untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat setempat dan mendukung pengembangan produk olahan lokal. Kehadiran internet di kampung Beingkete menjadi hal yang positif bagi penduduk setempat. Namun, kehadiran internet masih terbatas pada penggunaannya sebagai alat komunikasi dan belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan pemasaran produk lokal. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah kurangnya pemahaman mengenai cara memanfaatkan internet secara efektif untuk kegiatan pemasaran produk. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait manfaat dan potensi internet dalam mempromosikan produk-produk lokal.
