Abstract

Karyawan menjadi elemen terpenting menjalankan UMKM dalam memperoleh keuntungan, maka dari itu sebagai timbal balik UMKM perlu memperhatikan kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan ISR Bone dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan perekonomian karyawan, dan mengetahui apa saja faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukungan UMKM ISR Bone dalam memberikan kesejahteraan perekonomian karyawannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu UMKM ISR Bone Kabupaten Bone. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui collection data, reduksi data, display data, dan Conclusion Drawing/Verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada empat peran UMKM dalam memberikan kesejahteraan perekonomian bagi karyawan yaitu UMKM membantu pemerintah menekan angka pengangguran, kontribusi UMKM memberikan kesejahteraan bagi karyawannya melalui peningkatan taraf hidup yang menghindarkan karyawan dari kemiskinan, UMKM memenuhi kebutuhan dasar dan sekunder karyawan, dan UMKM memperhatikan keamanan dan HAM karyawan dengan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif, komunikasi yang terbuka, perlindungan dari gangguan, dan kebebasan berpendapat dalam tempat kerja. Selain itu kesejahteraan yang dirasakan karyawan di UMKM ISR Bone bukan hanya berdasarkan dari besaran Gaji/Upah atau besaran nominal uang yang karyawan peroleh, akan tetapi didukung beberapa hal seperti kenyamanan di tempat kerja, kesesuaian beban kerja, dan baiknya lingkungan pekerjaan serta baiknya pemilik sebagai owner dalam memperlakukan karyawannya. Adapun faktor penghambat UMKM ISR Bone dalam memberikan kesejahteraan perekonomian karyawan yaitu perkembangan teknologi, jumlah tanggungan karyawan yang semakin waktu akan semakin bertambah, dan keberadaan utang karyawan. Sementara itu faktor pendukung UMKM dalam memberikan kesejahteraan bagi karyawannya yaitu pemilik atau owner UMKM yang memiliki kepemimpinan yang baik, lingkungan kerja karyawan yang sehat, dan kesesuaian gaji dan beban kerja yang setara.

Abstract

Tourism plays a crucial role in driving economic growth, but the COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the industry, including in Makassar City, Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the readiness of tourism to address the challenges posed by the pandemic and to identify the factors influencing this readiness. Specifically, the study focuses on the perceptions of tourism readiness based on the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) sub-index. Data was collected through surveys conducted in Makassar City using non-probability quota sampling. A quantitative-descriptive approach was employed, and the collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The study primarily examines the impact of two factors, namely the enabling environment and travel and tourism policy and enabling conditions, on tourism readiness. The study's findings reveal that enabling environment, travel, tourism policy, and enabling conditions contribute significantly to tourism readiness in Makassar City. However, the travel and tourism policy and enabling conditions variable influence tourism readiness substantially. Indicators such as the prioritization of travel and tourism indicators and the openness indicator received high scores, further supporting the significance of these factors. The implications of these findings are valuable for policymakers and government authorities involved in the tourism sector. The study provides valuable insights into the areas that need to be prioritized and improved to enhance tourism readiness in Makassar City. By focusing on creating an enabling environment and implementing effective travel and tourism policies, the government can shape strategies that foster resilience and recovery in the tourism industry amidst the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

This research analyzes the role of the Canva application in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. Using a qualitative research method through a case study approach involving two MSME players in Balikpapan City, the results show the positive impact of Canva on marketing and branding performance. The use of Canva as an e-Catalog, increased awareness, online sales, and enhanced competitiveness are acknowledged as significant positive outcomes. Although most informants have succeeded in improving design effectiveness, challenges related to understanding complex features and the intention of some informants to reduce or discontinue the use of Canva are identified. Continuous evaluation and improvement involve monitoring design trends, adopting new features, adjusting marketing strategies, and enhancing creativity. In conclusion, Canva has a positive impact on MSMEs, enabling them to compete in the digital realm. However, continuous efforts in evaluation, development, and training are needed to maximize the potential benefits of Canva for the growth and development of MSMEs in the digital world. By understanding the challenges and opportunities that arise, MSMEs can continue to optimize the use of Canva to achieve success and remain competitive in the ever-evolving digital era

Abstract

In today's era of globalization and advancing digitalization, the job market is increasingly competitive, demanding that job seekers master not only technical skills but also comprehensive soft skills. This is especially true for Vocational High School (SMK) students, particularly those in the Office Management Automation (OTKP) program at SMK Airlangga, who face the challenge of preparing themselves for a competitive work environment. LinkedIn, as a global professional networking platform, serves as a vital tool for building personal branding and expanding professional networks for OTKP students. However, effectively using LinkedIn requires a deep understanding of profile creation, personal branding principles, and networking strategies. The community service program, titled “Utilizing LinkedIn for Personal Branding and Workforce Preparation for OTKP Students at SMK Airlangga,” aims to provide training and insights to students on how to maximize LinkedIn for their professional advantage. This program will cover creating an outstanding LinkedIn profile, strategies for building and maintaining professional networks, and effective communication techniques on the platform. Additionally, it seeks to enhance students' awareness and understanding of the importance of personal branding in today’s workforce. The goal of this initiative is to equip students with the tools and strategies needed to succeed in utilizing LinkedIn and other online resources, helping them build confidence in presenting themselves and their skills to the world. It will also introduce them to essential professional skills, such as communication and networking. It is hoped that this effort will open up broader opportunities for students to enter the competitive job market with strong preparation.

Abstract

This study investigates the simultaneous impact of company reputation and social media information on job applicant intention. Data was collected from a sample of 100 respondents, with descriptive statistics indicating mean values of 40.39 for company reputation, 36.49 for social media information, and 56.68 for job applicant intention. Classical assumption tests confirmed the normal distribution of data, absence of multicollinearity, and lack of heteroscedasticity. Instrument testing showed high reliability and validity of the measurement items. The hypothesis tests revealed that both company reputation and social media information significantly affect job applicant intention. The multiple linear regression analysis indicated that a unit increase in company reputation and social media information results in increases in job applicant intention by 0.467 and 0.706 units, respectively. The partial t-test results showed t-values of 3.005 for company reputation and 5.222 for social media information, both significant at p < 0.05. The simultaneous F-test confirmed the combined effect of these variables, with an F-value of 30.417 and a significance level of 0.000. The findings align with existing research, suggesting that effective employer branding and strategic use of social media significantly enhance a company's reputation and attractiveness to job seekers. Companies with a positive reputation and active social media presence are more successful in attracting high-quality candidates, highlighting the importance of these factors in modern recruitment strategies. In conclusion, maintaining a positive company reputation and leveraging social media are crucial for increasing job applicant intention. These strategies not only improve the perception of the company as a desirable workplace but also significantly boost the likelihood of attracting potential job candidates. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan mekanisme pengaduan terhadap kepuasan stakeholder pada Kantor Otoritas Bandar Udara Wilayah VII. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap responden yang relevan dengan objek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengukur pengaruh masing-masing variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan stakeholder. Gaya kepemimpinan yang komunikatif, partisipatif, dan inspiratif terbukti mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan meningkatkan kepuasan terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. Sebaliknya, mekanisme pengaduan ditemukan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan namun cenderung negatif terhadap kepuasan stakeholder, yang mengindikasikan bahwa sistem pengaduan yang tidak optimal justru dapat menurunkan kepercayaan publik. Secara simultan, kedua variabel ini terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan stakeholder, menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan pengelolaan pengaduan merupakan dua elemen penting dalam menciptakan tata kelola pelayanan publik yang efektif. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kepemimpinan yang transformatif dan pembenahan menyeluruh terhadap sistem pengaduan, guna meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan kualitas layanan di sektor transportasi udara.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate trends or developments in studies on risk management and organizations by searching published documents. The method that is maximized is by carrying out bibliometric analysis.. The method that is maximized is by carrying out bibliometric analysis. The data source comes from the Scopus database. The analysis tool used is Vosviewer. The main findings of this research indicate a significant growth in the number of publications related to risk management and organizations over the last few decades. The United States leads in the number of publications. The frequently cited documents in this study also provide insight into the most relevant topics in this research, including strategic planning, risk assessment, risk management, and more. However, several themes still need to be explored further, such as the role of accounting management and the impact of risk management on organizational performance. The implication of this study is the importance of better awareness and understanding of risk management in modern organizations.
