Abstract

Character education includes more than teaching morality and ethics. In addition, by instilling good habits, it is expected that students can feel or experience (affective), develop cognitive awareness about right and wrong and get used to doing it (psychomotor). Instilling character education can be carried out by an educational institution. Among the educational institutions that organize character building is the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT), which combines general education and religious values. It is because character education lies not only in the material being taught but also in the habituation of positive attitudes and actions, one of which is through the habituation of religious activities. This study thus aims to determine (1) the implementation of character education through the habituation of religious activities and (2) the character of class IV A students at SDIT Al-Khairiyah. The research method employed in this research was qualitative research, i.e., understanding phenomena in the form of natural objects by collecting data by triangulation. The data collection techniques utilized were interviews, and non-participatory observation, i.e., the researchers were not directly involved in the activities that took place at school but only as observers using field notes and documentation to support the research. The results of this study revealed that (1) schools and teachers could implement character education by involving all students through the habituation program for religious activities in schools. (2) Meanwhile, the character values that arise in students include religion, discipline, and responsibility, which are expected to be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

Many Indonesian people are currently trapped by the Hedonic Treadmill. The hedonic treadmill is a condition in which a person pursues happiness until he reaches endless satisfaction. Happiness depends on material things, they chase millions of treasures and pile up as if they never feel enough which causes a person to be trapped in pseudo-happiness. Islam guides every human being on how to acquire wealth and use it. Therefore it is very important to have a discussion about this from Hamka's point of view so that humans can be guided toward real life and happiness. The purpose of this research is to analyze and study the Hedonic Treadmill from Buya Hamka's perspective. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques in the book Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka, using QDA Minerlite software. The results of this study indicate that, according to Hamka, the hedonic treadmill is a human nature that is very attached to wealth, exaggerates and tends to justify any means to get it, always boasts about it to other humans, does not care about the negative aspects that wealth can cause, so that it can cover up logical reasoning. and distract them from the true purpose of their creation. Hamka has provided a solution for each individual to avoid and stay away from the hedonic treadmill, namely by taqarrub ila-Allah, doing good deeds, living Qanaah, and always being grateful for everything that has been given to him by Allah, and applying the attitude of Zuhud. exaggerates and tends to justify any means to get it, always boasts about it to other humans, and does not care about the negative aspects that wealth can cause, so that it can cover up logical reasoning. and distract them from the true purpose of their creation. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan budaya literasi pada anak usia dini sebagai upaya untuk memotivasi belajar membaca, mengingat pentingnya literasi dasar dalam membentuk fondasi perkembangan anak yang holistik, meliputi aspek kognitif, sosial-emosional, dan motorik. Namun, rendahnya minat membaca di kalangan anak-anak Indonesia, disebabkan oleh kurangnya akses bahan bacaan menarik dan pengaruh media digital, menjadi tantangan utama yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan terkait budaya literasi pada anak usia dini. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan temuan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode seperti membaca, mendongeng, menciptakan lingkungan literasi di rumah, dan penggunaan aplikasi edukatif berbasis digital dapat meningkatkan minat membaca anak. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan budaya literasi yang konsisten oleh orang tua dan pendidik dapat mendukung perkembangan literasi anak sejak usia dini, yang pada akhirnya akan berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan pendidikan mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the process of internalizing religious values through religious behavior habituation activities (P2R), supporting capacity and challenges and religious behavior that is formed in grade 6 students at the West Jerang State Elementary School, Cilegon City. The research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research data sources include school principals, 6th grade teachers and islamic religious education subject teachers. Data collection techiques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data prsentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research on the aspect of the process of internalizing religious values through P2R activities have been carried out well, as evidenced by the students memorizing asmaul husna with a total 20 asmaul husna, memorizing short letters in juz amma from surat al-fath to al-ashr, memorizing the prophets prayers, memorizing general prayers such as prayers for parents, prayers for the afterlife, can carry out ablution and practice sunnah dhuha prayers in congregation. In the aspect of carrying capacity in implementing P2R activities, the facilities and infrastructure are edequate, while the challenges are related to students motivation which fluctuates due to feeling bored, so it requires improvements in implementing P2R activities. In the aspect of religious behavior that is formed from the implementation of P2R activities, both aspect of faith values, woship values and moral values have begun to be formed and carried out by students in their activities while in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program penunjang dan keterlibatan guru dalam penguatan karakter religius peserta didik di SD Negeri Serang 15. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dalam kegiatan pembiasaan karakter religius peserta didik di SD Negeri Serang guru berperan sebagai pembimbing, teladan, motivator dan fasilitator dalam melaksanakan kegiatan shalat dhuha, kultum, marawis, tadarus peserta didik, dan pendidik sholat dhuha, marawis, tadarus, kultum. Selain itu, guru juga berperan dalam mengajarkan sikap tolerasi dengan memberikan pengajaran tentang nilai-nilai saling menghargai perbedaan agama. Guru juga berperan dalam mencegah dan menangani kasus bullying melalui pembelajaran di kelas seperti pengajaran nilai anti-kekerasan dan penguatan empati. Dalam aspek kepedulian sosial, guru mendorong keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan sosial seperti berinfaq,dan memberikan nilai-nilai pentingnya berbagi kepada sesama yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai optimalisasi minat baca melaui program pojok baca di kelas V. Seperti yang kita ketahui pemerintah bersama Kemendikbud menggerakan program sudut baca atau pojok baca untuk meningkatkan minat baca pelajar di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu sekolah-sekolah mulai membuat pojok baca dikelas. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan narasumber guru, penanggung jawab pojok baca, dan siswa. Kemudian dianalasis dengan menggunakan model Miles and Hubermen. Hasil penelian sebagai berikut: 1) pelaksaan program pojok baca di kelas V MIN 1 Kota Cilegon dilakukan sesuai dengan anjuran Kemendikbud dimana guru sebagai pengontrol kegiatan dan terdapat tindak lanjut oleh guru dan siswa. 2) Faktor pendukung dalam program pojok baca adalah orangtua yang berperan aktif disekolah dalam keikutsertaan menghias pojok baca dan faktor penghambat yaitu ketersediaan buku yang belum memenuhi kebutuhan siswa. 3) Dampak dari program pojok baca adalah munculnya minat dan antusias siswa dalam membaca, kemampuan membaca siswa yang sesuai dengan tahapannya, dan meningkatnya kunjungan baca diperpustakaan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the full-day school program at SDIT Al Izzah 2. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the planning of the full-day school program at SDIT Al Izzah 2 began with the preparation of the academic calendar, classroom administration, provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the development of religious habituation and self-development programs, which were carried out through extracurricular activities. The implementation of the full-day school program ran well and in a conducive manner, where students participated in classroom learning, religious habituation programs, and self-development programs through extracurricular activities. The supporting factors for the implementation of the full-day school program included a conducive environment and collaboration between parents and teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were an unconducive environment and differing perceptions between parents and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui program majelis pagi yang kegiatannya meliputi shalat dhuha berjamaah, tadarus Al-Qur’an, kultim, dan membaca asmaul husna telah menjadikan mayoritas peserta didik memiliki indikator religius seperti taat kepada Allah, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, Ikhlas, kreatif, menghargai orang lain, jujur, dan disiplin.

Abstract
