Abstract

Abstract. Readmission is associated with quality measures on patients in hospitals. Different attributes related to diabetic patients such as medication, ethnicity, race, lifestyle, age, and others result in the calculation of quality care that tends to be complicated. Classification techniques of data mining can solve this problem. In this paper, the evaluation on three different classifiers, i.e. Decision Tree, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN), dan Naive Bayes with various setting parameter, is developed by using 10-Fold Cross Validation technique. The targets of parameter performance evaluated is based on term of Accuracy, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), dan Kappa Statistic. The selected dataset consists of 47 attributes and 49.735 records. The result shows that k-NN classifier with k=100 has a better performance in term of accuracy and Kappa Statistic, but Naive Bayes outperforms in term of MAE among other classifiers.Keywords: k-NN, naive bayes, diabetes, readmission Abstrak.Proses Readmisi dikaitkan dengan perhitungan kualitas penanganan pasien di rumah sakit. Perbedaan atribut-atribut yang berhubungan dengan pasien diabetes proses medikasi, etnis, ras, gaya hidup, umur, dan lain-lain, mengakibatkan perhitungan kualitas cenderung rumit. Teknik klasifikasi data mining dapat menjadi solusi dalam perhitungan kualitas ini. Teknik klasifikasi merupakan salah satu teknik data mining yang perkembangannya cukup signifikan. Di dalam penelitian ini, model algoritma klasifikasi Decision Tree, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN), dan Naive Bayes dengan berbagai parameter setting akan dievaluasi performanya berdasarkan nilai performa Accuracy, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), dan Kappa Statistik dengan metode 10-Fold Cross Validation. Dataset yang dievaluasi memiliki 47 atribut dengan 49.735 records. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa performa accuracy, MAE, dan Kappa Statistik terbaik didapatkan dari Model Algoritma Naive Bayes.Kata Kunci: k-NN, naive bayes, diabetes, readmisi

Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan jenis virus baru yang sampai saat ini belum ditemukan obat/antivirus/treatment yang pasti. Penelitian yang dilakukan dan dijelaskan dalam paper ini adalah untuk mengetahui sudut pandang (perspektif) teknologi informasi. Perspective yang dibangun dalam paper ini juga menilik bagaimana teknologi informasi dapat digunakan untuk menangani pandemic-pandemi sebelum Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan adaptasi dari penelitian Literatur Review Sistematis yang dilakukan oleh Kitchenham. Dalam paper ini juga akan dibahas tentang strategi intervensi penyebaran Covid-19 diataranya adalah intervensi menggunakan obat (pharmaceutical) dan non-obat (non-pharmaceutical). Pada studi ini juga akan dibahas tentang teknologi informasi yang sudah pernah digunakan di bidang kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan penyebaran pandemic-pandemi baik Covid-19 ataupun pandemic lainnya yang pernah terjadi di beberapa negara. Model strategi ini memungkinkan untuk dikembangkan menjadi penelitian selanjutnya untuk dasar penentuan kebijakan strategi berdasarkan penomena yang terjadi yang didasarkan pada data yang di-generate oleh pengguna. Model strategi ini diharapkan bisa dijadikan alternatif strategi untuk menekan biaya belanja pemerintah dan mempersempit ruang gerak transmisi Covid-19

Abstract

The campus introduction process is a stage where new students acquire information about the campus through a series of activities and interactions with existing students. However, the delivery of campus introduction information is still limited to conventional methods, such as using guidebooks. This limitation can result in students having a limited understanding of the information needed during their academic period. The one of solution for this case is to implement a deep learning system with knowledge-based foundations. This research aims to develop a Question Answering System (QAS) as a campus introduction guide by comparing two transformer methods, namely the RoBERTa and IndoBERT architectures. The dataset used is processed in the SQuAD format in the Indonesian language. The collected SQuAD dataset in the Indonesian language consists of 5046 annotated data. The result shows that IndoBERT outperforms RoBERTa with EM and F1-Score values of 81.17 and 91.32, respectively, surpassing RoBERTa with EM and F1-Score values of 79.53 and 90.18.

Abstract

Salah satu sentra konveksi berbahan jeans di Jawa Tengah, perkembangan industri jeans di Kabupaten Pekalongan sangat pesat adalah sentra jeans Surobayan,Wonopringgo,Kab.Pekalongan. Sebelum tahun 2010, kondisi sentra jeans di Kabupaten Pekalongan berkembang secara alami. Berdasarkan kemampuan dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja, maka jenis industri konveksi jeans menduduki rangking kedua setelah kerajinan batik atau sangat potensial dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja lebih dari 6.300 orang di Surabayan, Wonopringgo, Kab.Pekalongan. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan pada Sentra Jeans Surabayan, Wonopringgo, Kab.Pekalongan dilakukan penerapan perangkat produksi bersih berkelanjutan dan minimisasi pembuangan limbah cair melalui pola (3R). Hasil produksi pengrajin konveksi jeans berupa Celana jeans untuk pria dan wanita, Jaket untuk pria dan wanita, kemeja baik untuk dewasa maupun anak anak Kapasitas produksi masing ”“masing pengrajin konveksi jeans per bulan antara 300 kodi sampai 1200 kodi. Pertumbuhan UKM di Kabupaten Pekalongan khususnya Sentra Jeans Surabayan, Wonopringgo, Kab.Pekalongan setiap tahunnya berkembang meskipun ada yang tutup usahanya, dan merupakan jantung perekonomian garmen di kabupaten Pekalongan. Rata-rata satu perusahaan mempunyai karyawan 15 orang. Setiap tahun rata-rata satu perusahaan mempergunakan, kain jeans 182.880 m, H2O2 1600 L, kostik 2000 kg, teepol 200 kg. pada proses produksinya rata-rata per hari membutuhkan air 15.000 L, kayu bakar 30m3. Sedangkan selama setahun produk gagal 9.144 m, H2O ¬2 yang tercecer 200 L, , air limbah 80% dari air yang digunakan, teepol yang tercecer 10 kg, bahan pewarna 50,4 kg, belum ada yang mengunakan pewarna alam. Tahapan yang harus dilalui untuk menerapkan produksi bersih berkelanjutan yaitu mengidentifikasi penyebab inefisiensi, menganalisis sebab dan dampak lingkungan, menentukan langkah-langkah perbaikan pengelolaan lingkungan yang diperlukan, mengintegrasikannya dalam struktur organisasi perusahaan serta mengevaluasi langkah-langkah tersebut.

Abstract

The allocated area for soybean cultivation has been gradually decreasing, leading to a decline in both production and productivity. Consequently, the current level of soybean production and productivity falls short of meeting the demand within the community. One potential solution to augment soybean output and efficiency involves allocating specific parcels of land for soybean cultivation. It is essential to conduct land evaluations tailored to soybean cultivation, accounting for the land's inherent potential, in order to optimize land utilization. Thus, a comprehensive system is required to assess land suitability, particularly for soybean cultivation, and employ the results of this classification as recommendations for land allocation. This research employess combination the Classification and Regression Tree (CART) method and the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm to classify suitable land for soybean cultivation. CART is used for classification and ABC is utilized for feature selection to identify the most relevant attributes in case of the algorithm improvement. Through a series of iterative experiments involving 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 iterations, the best attribute was determined following three attempts at each iteration. The Confusion Matrix test yielded an accuracy rate of 94.22% for the CART method in the second experiment, while the combined use of the best ABC and CART combination resulted in an accuracy rate of 97.11%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the integration of the artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm with the classification and regression tree (CART) method outperforms the sole use of the CART method in terms of accuracy.

Abstract

Marketing is an activity to promote, sell and spearhead a company in running a business to get success. In this case marketing includes socialization activities and also advertising from a product to consumers, especially in the case of the Bank that markets time deposit products to customers by calling customers directly. So many ways can be developed to produce an effective marketing outcome. Therefore, the need for an evaluation of direct telephone marketing activities to determine the performance, knowledge and rule in the form of a decision tree from the marketing process. To obtain evaluation results, data mining testing classification is needed by using the Decision Tree C4.5 Algorithm. The Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm can change very large facts into decision trees that represent rules and accurately predict target classes using interrelated variables. So the evaluation results can be used as material for consideration by the bank in evaluating the success rate of marketing techniques by calling customers directly. Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), introduced by Dave Cormier in 2008, have revolutionized education by providing widespread access to open and participatory online learning. While MOOCs offer broad access and flexibility in learning, users often encounter challenges in selecting appropriate courses. This leads to high dropout rates. To address this issue, this research develops a recommendation system employing the Weighted Hybrid method that combines Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) and Keyword-Based Filtering (KBF). The primary objective of the research is to enhance the accuracy of course recommendations on MOOCs. The findings of this study demonstrate that the Weighted Hybrid method, integrating NMF and KBF, successfully attained a Mean Average Precision (MAP) of 0.1963. This figure signifies an improvement compared to the MAP value of 0.1855 achieved in prior research. This method effectively addresses challenges such as cold start and sparsity, while also improving scalability. Consequently, the Weighted Hybrid approach holds promise for improving the quality of recommendations, enhancing the user's learning experience, and potentially reducing dropout rates in MOOCs.

Abstract

Animation techniques are evolving in accordance with the times. Motion capture is one of the most popular animation techniques today. The motion capture method has a number of drawbacks. Problems with bodily mobility, in particular, that are not captured on video. We studied how to use the pose-to-pose technique to solve movement issues in motion capture techniques, as well as how motion capture can produce complexly animated movements, such as those found in traditional Bengkulu dance movements. The research design follows a methodical approach to media production, beginning with pre-production and ending with post-production. The result in this study shows, many traditional Bengkulu dance movements in animated videos that only used motion capture techniques did not match the original movements, particularly those of the wrists, fingers, thighs, and knees, according to the results of a twenty-person experiment. On the other hand, respondents believe that animated videos using motion capture and pose-to-pose techniques are the same as the original movements. This means that motion capture and pose-to-pose techniques work better for creating traditional Bengkulu dance movements.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di Indonesia saat ini telah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka yang memberikan fleksibilitas bagi guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi peserta didik. SMPN 03 Tebat Karai merupakan sekolah yang sedang bersiap mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka secara mandiri. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMPN 03 Tebat Karai bertujuan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dengan pendekatan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi dan asesmen nya secara digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan dimulai dari menganalisis situasi di SMP Negeri 03 Tebat Karai mengenai proses pembelajaran yang sudah dilakukan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi praktik baik yang sudah dilakukan serta meningkatkan keterampilan yang belum dikuasai terutama mengenai digitalisasi penilaian. Pelaksanaan kegiatan megadopsi model I-CARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, dan Extend) untuk membekalkan digitalisasi penialian dalam pembelajaran terdifferensiasi kepada guru-guru di SMPN 3 Tebat Karai yang dilakukan secara offline learning dan online reflectif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru telah memahami konsep pembelajaran terdiferensiasi, namun masih ada tantangan dalam penerapannya, terutama terkait sarana prasarana dan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi. Selain itu, keterlibatan siswa dalam penilaian masih bervariasi, dengan sebagian guru belum sepenuhnya melibatkan siswa dalam proses asesmen. Kesimpulan dari hasil pelatihan ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menerapkan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi dan asesmen digital secara efektif.

Abstract

Background: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in a country's economic growth. However, the main challenges faced by MSMEs are access to technology and effective marketing. This activity aims to provide training and mentoring to MSME XYZ in Bengkulu to optimize the use of social media, especially Instagram and WhatsApp, as promotional tools. Method: The implementation method of the activity begins with the preparation phase, which includes providing training materials. It is followed by the execution of the activity, which is focused on enhancing the capacity of employees in utilizing social media as a marketing strategy to expand reach and establish relationships with the target market. Evaluation is conducted by monitoring the increase in sales transactions for three months after the implementation of the promotion technique. Result: The results show a significant improvement in sales performance, indicating the success of the marketing strategy through social media story techniques.  Conclusion: The story technique has increased the number of sales transactions, demonstrated by an increase from an average of 6-8 transactions to 11-13 transactions per day.
