Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Game Based Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students on natural disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research used the Simple Random Sampling method. The samples used in this research were class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as the control class. In testing the data, the results obtained showed that there was an influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class. The experimental class experienced an increase in cognitive learning outcomes, namely from 68 to 82. Meanwhile, the results for the control class were from 47.3 to 71. This conclusion is also supported by the acquisition of Sig. in the unpaired t test it is 0.005, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because of the Sig value. < 0.05. So there is an increase in learning outcomes but it is not too influential after using the Game Based Learning model.

Abstract

This research explores the correlation between learning attitudes and learning outcomes in Geography among 11th-grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The study adopted a correlational research type and employed a saturation sampling technique, with all 11th-grade Social Science (IPS) students at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta as the population. The variables were learning attitude as the independent variable and learning outcome as the dependent variable. Data on learning attitudes were collected using a questionnaire, while data on learning outcomes were based on Mid-Semester Exam (PTS) scores. The hypotheses were tested using a linear regression analysis. The findings indicated a significant influence of learning attitudes on the learning outcomes of 11th-grade Social Science students in Geography at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The linear regression analysis produced a simple linear regression equation: Y = 64.330 + 0.193X. It implied that fostering positive learning attitudes can improve the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the estimated productivity of tea land in Bandung Regency based on the results of Landsat 9 image analysis. This study used the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index method. NDVI values derived from Landsat 9 images were processed using the NDVI formula and then the NDVI values were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with productivity variables to determine the equation for estimating tea land productivity. Data collection techniques in this study used primary and secondary techniques. The unit of analysis in this study is the community tea plantation area spread across 4 sub-districts, namely Ciwidey, Rancabali, Pasirjambu, and Pangalengan Districts. The result of this study is the estimation of tea land productivity based on the similarity of NDVI values with productivity data in the field. Based on the results of the study, NDVI value has an influence of around 57.6% on tea productivity. For the estimation of tea land productivity in 4 sub-districts, it was obtained at 2,312 tons / ha in 1 harvest which has a difference of 0.6 tons / ha from related agency data, namely at 1,996 tons / ha.

Abstract

This research will aim to find out the result of students’ learning process by implementing the ‘quiz team’ learning method on the Endogenic Forces sub-chapter within the Lithosphere material in SMA Negeri 6 Depok. This research will be apart of the Quasi Experiment with the Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The sample that is going to be used in this research will be taken with the Purposive Sampling technique. The sample that is going to be used in this research will be grade X IPS 1 as the experiment class which will utilize the ‘quiz team’ learning method during classes and grade X IPS 2 as the control class which will utilize the conventional learning method during classes. The data collection will be conducted in the form of a multiple choices test with 20 questions acting as pre-test and post-test. The testing in this research will use the instrumentation, analytic requirement, and data analysis technique. The result of the data testing that is going to be conducted will reveal the existence of an impact on the learning results of students in the experiment class. The experiment class shall experience a significant increase in learning results with the average grade of 72,50 from 55,78. Whereas the control class shall gain an average of 60,31 from 53,12. This conclusion will be supported by how the Sig. score obtained on the T test will not match for 0,000 meaning is denied and is accepted because the Sig. score is < 0,05. Thus, there will be an impact from the implementation of learning results in the X grade of SMA Negeri 6 Depok after using the ‘quiz team’ learning method during geography class.
