Abstract

Keamanan informasi menjadi krusial di era digital, terutama untuk data sensitif dari formulir pelaporan kekerasan seksual pada platform PPKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan algoritma Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) untuk enkripsi data di platform tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur mengenai kriptografi dan AES, desain sistem enkripsi dan dekripsi, serta implementasi kode PHP dengan AES-256-CBC. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa enkripsi dan dekripsi data sensitif terlindungi secara efektif, menghasilkan ciphertext yang tidak dapat dibaca tanpa proses dekripsi yang tepat. Namun, ditemukan kendala dalam batasan ukuran data dan pengelolaan kunci. Saran perbaikan meliputi penyesuaian konfigurasi server dan peningkatan penanganan error untuk meningkatkan performa dan keamanan sistem.

Abstract

Karena teknologi yang memungkinkan akses informasi dengan cepat dan mudah, penggunaan internet telah menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Tetapi penggunaan internet juga dapat menyebabkan masalah seperti masalah jaringan, masalah keamanan, dan penurunan kinerja. Administrator jaringan dapat memantau keamanan jaringan, memecahkan masalah, menemukan intrusi, dan mengoptimalkan kinerja dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak analisis jaringan Wireshark, yang mencatat dan menganalisis lalu lintas jaringan secara real-time. Dengan menggunakan parameter throughput, delay, dan packet loss, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja jaringan internet. Untuk menerapkan Quality of Service (QoS), Wireshark digunakan. Kebun Kopi Pare-Pare adalah salah satu lokasi pengujiannya. Pengujian tambahan menunjukkan kinerja yang sangat baik dengan throughput 345 kbps, kehilangan paket 0%, dan delay 1,124 ms. Namun, throughput di bagian kota Pare-Pare sudah berstandar TIPHON dan nilai packet loss 0%. Dalam analisis ini Wireshark digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis parameter kinerja jaringan. Penelitian ini dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi jaringan dan meningkatkan kinerja jaringan.

Abstract

Metode keamanan yang mengutamakan prinsip "tidak ada yang dipercaya secara default" untuk mengakses sumber daya jaringan dikenal sebagai Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). ZTNA dapat memperkuat sistem informasi, terutama situs web umum yang rentan terhadap serangan siber. Studi ini membahas penerapan ZTNA dengan menambahkan CAPTCHA sebagai metode verifikasi untuk memastikan bahwa pengguna yang mengakses website adalah manusia dan bukan bot. Dengan menganalisis berbagai studi kasus dan implementasi nyata, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CAPTCHA dalam konteks ZTNA meningkatkan keamanan dan juga mengurangi risiko serangan DDoS dan penyalahgunaan akses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi ZTNA dan CAPTCHA dapat meningkatkan keamanan web dengan menambahkan lapisan perlindungan tambahan.

Abstract

The development of quantum computing presents new challenges to the security of data stored and processed by today's computer systems. Quantum computers have the ability to perform calculations at very high speeds, which could threaten the security of currently used encryption algorithms. Therefore, steps are needed to design and implement an operating system that is able to protect data from quantum computing threats. Ubuntu Linux version 22.04, as one of the leading open source Linux distributions, offers high-level security features. To face the era of quantum computing, it is necessary to carry out special development and implementation of this operating system. This research aims to improve the security of the Ubuntu Linux operating system version 22.04 so that it can withstand quantum computing attacks by designing and implementing a quantum-resistant cryptography protocol and testing the security and performance of the resulting system. This research method uses a qualitative approach and research and development (R&D) with literature studies. The research results show that the integration between Liboqs and OpenSSL on Linux Ubuntu 22.04 successfully implements a cryptographic algorithm that is resistant to quantum computing. Although there is a slight performance increase due to the additional overhead of the quantum algorithm, the security of the system in protecting data from quantum computing attacks is proven to be well maintained.

Abstract

The study investigates cryptocurrency investment fraud practices in Indonesia that use social engineering. Fast-growing digital technology presents opportunities and challenges, including an increasing risk of cybercrime. An APJII survey in 2024 showed that there are 221 million people in Indonesia who use the Internet. On the other hand, Kemenkeu predicts the digital economy will grow eightfold by 2030. Cryptocurrency investment scams often use social engineering attacks such as phishing and identity theft. Qualitative descriptive methods are used in this research to conduct literary analysis of various journal articles. The results show that crypto investment fraud has psychological and social consequences in addition to financial losses. To address this problem, the authors suggest increased digital literacy, tighter security policies, and government-industry collaboration to reduce risk and increase public confidence in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

Abstract

The study is to investigate the phenomenon of cybercrime, specifically focusing on the Bjorka data breach at Kominfo. Cybercrime has grown to be a serious threat to Indonesia's cyber security, including data theft, hacking, and malware attacks. This study approach employs qualitative descriptive techniques via a methodical examination of documents, including journal articles from both domestic and foreign publications. Based on analysis, it was found that Bjorka committed data breaches to protest government policies and highlight security weaknesses. The study also explores measures to prevent cybercrime, such as the use of security technology, user training, and the implementation of strict security policies. Encryption tools like Veracrypt should be used to protect sensitive data from theft. The research results are expected to raise awareness and collaborative efforts among governments, associated organizations, and communities to address the threat of cybercrime as well as strengthen national cyber defences

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of computer networks at Bank Sulselbar Parepare branch to improve operational efficiency and data security. Using the Cisco Packet Tracer application, network topology design involves the use of switches to manage data traffic, PCs for communication between devices, and servers connected to Cisco switches to ensure easy access to critical services. Static IP address settings ensure reliable connections, while firewalls on servers secure the network from unauthorized access and cyberattacks. Test results show significant improvements in network security and efficiency, as well as improved service quality and customer satisfaction. This implementation succeeded in meeting the objectives of improving operational performance and data security at the bank.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of network security in higher education in the face of increasingly complex cyber threats. Using a literature study methodology, this research identified challenges such as malware attacks, phishing, DDoS, and hacking, as well as vulnerabilities such as resource limitations and lack of user awareness. Recommended preventive practices include the implementation of multifactor authentication systems, data encryption, and increased user awareness. The use of firewalls was also highlighted as an important component in protecting the college's digital assets. This research provides guidance for educational institutions to improve their network security infrastructure.

Abstract

This research explores the application of blockchain technology and smart contracts as an innovative solution to improve asset management at the Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie Institute of Technology (ITH). By utilizing blockchain, this research aims to increase security, transparency and efficiency of asset management through decentralizing data storage and automating transaction execution. A comprehensive literature review and network design using Cisco tools were used to build a reliable and secure network infrastructure to support the implementation of blockchain technology. Conventional asset management processes often face challenges such as security risks, lack of transparency, and administrative inefficiencies. Blockchain offers a solution by providing a system that is resistant to change (immutability), decentralization, and automation through smart contracts. The results of this research show that the use of blockchain technology at ITH improves network connectivity, strengthens security measures, and simplifies the asset management process. Implementing firewalls and NAT in network design plays an important role in protecting data and maintaining system integrity. The study also identified several challenges, including the need for adequate staff training and infrastructure improvements to support this technology on an ongoing basis. Recommendations for future implementation include intensive training for staff regarding blockchain technology, improving network infrastructure, regular evaluation of already implemented systems, and adding layers of security to ensure optimal data protection. With these steps, it is hoped that ITH can maximize the benefits of blockchain technology in managing campus assets, as well as providing an example for other educational institutions in adopting this technological innovation.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of Snort as an intrusion detection tool for addressing insider threats in network environments. The primary focus is on utilizing network forensic techniques to identify, analyze, and respond to suspicious activities conducted by internal users. The analysis method involves implementing Snort on a Linux platform to monitor network traffic in real-time and collect digital evidence that can be used in forensic investigations. The study successfully demonstrates that Snort is effective in detecting suspicious behavior patterns associated with insider threats, such as unauthorized access attempts and potentially malicious application usage. The digital evidence gathered by Snort aids in further forensic analysis, assisting in the identification of threat sources and facilitating a swift and appropriate response to security incidents. The discussion highlights the strengths and weaknesses of using Snort in the context of insider threat detection, emphasizing the importance of meticulous configuration and regular maintenance for optimal performance. The study concludes that employing Snort within a network forensic framework enhances an organization's ability to detect, analyze, and respond to insider threats, providing better protection for organizational assets and information from various internal cyber threats. This research lays the foundation for developing more effective security policies and improving cybersecurity awareness within organizations.
