Abstract

Lucas triangle is an array of coeficients of a polynomial forming a pattern which is similar to Pascal triangle. This research studies Lucas triangle and its properties. The research results show that every row in Lucas triangle is begun by the number 1 and is ended by the number 2,  the sum of the first n terms of number of 1th column is equal to the number at th row, 2nd column. Besides, the number at nth row and  th column of Lucas triangle is  for , the sum of the first n terms of number of jth column is equal to the number at th row,  column for . The number of Lucas triangle is the sum of two number terms in preceded row, that is the number at  th row,  and the number at th row, . Then, the sum of coefficients of each  row of Lucas triangle is .

Abstract

Fluids are a shape of a matter which have substance liquids, gases and plasmas. In our daily life, fluids become important part, such as part of our blood and also help our body getting nutrients. It is well known that fluid motion can be described in mathematical model in especially in form of partial differential equations (PDE) and called as Navier Stokes Equations  (NSE). The Navier Stokes equation is derived from balance of conservation of mass and conservation of momentum. In this paper, we consider the solution formula of the linearized of the Navier Stokes Equation (NSE) with the initial boundary value (IBV) problem in half space without surface tension. The model problem under consideration covers of non-linear fluid type. We solve the solution formula of velocity and density of the model problem by using Fourier transform and partial Fourier transform method. The strategy geting the solution of the model problem is based on the analysis of some resolvent of the model problem which obtained by using Laplace transform of the Stokes equations. Therefore, In particular, the formula of velocity and density of the Stokes equation are obtained.

Abstract

Intuitionistic fuzzy sets is an extension of the fuzzy set with the characteristics of each element having a degree of membership and non-membership which when added up is less than one. If applied to group theory, it will called intuitionistic fuzzy group. Operators on fuzzy sets associate membership functions (non-membership) with intervals [0,1]. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil pemahaman konsep matriks pada mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, observasi, tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matriks pada mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar masih rendah. Hal tersebut ditinjau pada kemampuan mahasiswa untuk menjawab soal tes hasil belajar mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Dengan demikian diperlukan adanya penekanan khusus mengenai konsep matriks sebelum mahasiswa mengambil mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar.Kata kunci: pemahaman, matriks, struktur aljabar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the refractive thinking of class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumbang. They are distributed in terms of thinking and feeling personality types. This type of research is qualitative research. The sample of this study was six students from class VIII B who were selected using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, refractive thinking tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that students with the thinking personality type can gather information on the problem, link information in the issue with prior knowledge, propose solutions or alternative solutions to problems, eliminate solutions or alternative solutions to issues, carry out appropriate solving strategies and re-examine the solutions that have been obtained. Feeling personality type, students can gather information on the problem, relate the information in the issue with previous knowledge, and propose solutions or alternative solutions to problems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki sifat-sifat operasi perkalian modular pada graf fuzzy yang diperkenalkan oleh Dogra [2]. Sifat yang diselidiki adalah perkalian modular pada graf fuzzy lengkap, graf fuzzy efektif dan graf fuzzy komplemen. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian teoritik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy lengkap bukan merupakan graf fuzzy lengkap, jika ke dua graf fuzzy efektif, maka perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy komplemennya sama dengan perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy efektif tersebut dan perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy G1 danG2  dengan G2  danG1 saling isomorfis.

Segitiga Lucas merupakan susunan koefisien-koefisien dari suatu polinomial yang disusun membentuk pola segitiga memyerupai segitiga Pascal. Penelitian ini mengkaji segitiga Lucas dan karakteristik dari segitiga Lucas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, setiap baris pada segitiga Lucas diawali dengan angka 1 dan diakhiri dengan angka 2, jumlah dari n suku bilangan pertama pada kolom ke-1 sama dengan bilangan pada baris ke- kolom ke-2. Selain itu, bilangan pada baris ke- kolom ke- pada segitiga Lucas adalah untuk , jumlah n suku bilangan pertama pada kolom ke-j sama dengan bilangan pada baris ke- kolom ke- untuk . Bilangan pada segitiga Lucas merupakan penjumlahan dari dua suku bilangan pada baris sebelumnya, yaitu bilangan pada baris ke- kolom ke- dan bilangan pada baris ke- kolom ke-j. Abstract

ABSTRACT. This article discusses fundamental properties of hypergraphs. Hypergraphs are generalization of graph which hyperedges, edges in hypergraph, can join more than two vertices. The fundamental properties in this article are the vertices degrees, connection in hypergraphs, and dual hypergraph. connectivity in hypergraphs in this article are walks, trails, strict trails, path, and cycles. In the end of this article, we present a few examples of problems that can be represented by hypergraph.Keywords: hypergraph, connectivity in hypergraph, dual hypergraph ABSTRAK. Artikel ini membahas mengenai konsep dasar hipergraf dan sifat-sifatnya. Hipergraf merupakan generalisasi dari graf dimana hyperedge, istilah sisi pada hipergraf, dapat menghubungkan lebih dari dua titik. Sifat-sifat dasar yang disajikan pada artikel ini berkaitan dengan derajat titik, keterhubungan dalam hipergraf, dan dual hipergraf pada hipergraf tak berarah. Keterhubungan dalam hipergraf berupa jalan, trail, strict trail, lintasan, dan cycle. Abstract

ABSTRACT. In this paper we will present two properties of subsemihypergroups. The first property is a relation between subsemihypergroups and semihypergroup. This property enable us to get the second property, which provides a relation between subsemihypergroups and regular semihypergroups.Keywords: semihypergroup, subsemihypergroup, regular. ABSTRAK.
