Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematik dan sikap mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah matematika sekolah 3. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan dari tanggal 30 Oktober 2013 s.d. 30 Januari 2014 dan subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 3 kelas B, prodi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UMP yang berjumlah 37 mahasiswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes kemampuan pemahaman, angket sikap mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah matematika sekolah 3, dan pedoman wawancara. Implementasi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem possing pada mata kuliah matematika sekolah 3 dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dan sikap mahasiswa. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemahaman matematik dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu dari 60,18 menjadi 69,64. Dalam hal ini masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pembelajaran. Begitu juga ada peningkatan persentase rata-rata skor angket dari 65,42 menjadi 70,04 dengan kriteria sedang menjadi kategori tinggi. Hal tersebut juga sesuai dengan hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa yang menunjukkan sikap yang lebih bagus dari siklus sebelumnya. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman, Sikap, Problem Possing

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) create students' worksheets (LKPD) for mathematics learning based on Open-Ended Problems on students' mathematical creative thinking skills that meet the validity aspect. 2) create students' worksheets (LKPD) for mathematics learning based on Open-Ended Problems on students' mathematical creative thinking skills that meet practical Aspects. 3) create students' worksheets (LKPD) for mathematics learning based on Open-Ended Problems on students' mathematical creative thinking skills that meet the aspect of effectiveness. This research used 4D development, modified into three stages, namely Define, Design, and Develop.  The trial was carried out in MTs.  Wathoniyah Islamiyah Kebarongan with research subjects of 9 students in Grade IXA. The research found that the mathematics learning worksheets that had been developed met the validity aspects as measured by the assessment of the validation results of experts with an average score of 4.1. The practicality of the LKPD was measured based on the observation of the implementation of the LKPD which was shown to be fulfilled in the fully implemented category.  The teacher's response indicated an average score of 4.0 meaning that the mathematics worksheets are practical for learning activities. The effectiveness of the LKPD was shown by the fulfilment of the established effectiveness indicators, namely the average N-Gain normality test, the results of which were carried out through the results of the pretest and posttest. The N-Gain normality test got an average score of 0.5130 which was interpreted as moderate. Thus, the development of mathematics worksheets effectively affects students' creative thinking abilities. It can be concluded that the LKPD developed is valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

Mathematical representation is how a person communicates the mathematical ideas in question to others. This ability has an important role in learning mathematics, especially as a foundation to align problem solving. This study aims to describe the mathematical representational ability of junior high school students in solving open-ended problems. The study subjects were students of grade XI junior high school. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Taking subjects using purposive sampling, which is based on their thinking style. Data collection uses tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the ability of mathematical representations of: (1) groups of students of concrete sequential thinking styles able to create and communicate mathematical ideas in the form of images, have not been able to make mathematical models perfectly and are sufficiently able to use written words or text; (2) groups of students of abstract sequential thinking styles are less able to create and communicate mathematical ideas in the form of drawings but able to create mathematical models of ideas or ideas and are sufficiently able to use written words or text; (3) groups of students of abstract random thinking styles are less able to create and communicate mathematical ideas in the form of drawings and create mathematical models of ideas or ideas, but are sufficiently able to use written words or text; (4) Groups of students of concrete random thinking styles are quite capable of creating and communicating mathematical ideas in the form of drawings, unable to create mathematical models of ideas or ideas, less able to use written words or text

Abstract

This study aims to determine the online learning interactions carried out by junior high school teachers in the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The quantitative using survey was used as a research methodology. 141 Mathematic Teachers was selected as the subject of this research. A questionnaire of classroom interaction practice in an online class was used as a data collection technique. The result found that mathematic teachers’ interaction activity in online courses has a different level. The interaction process that mathematic teachers use is in preparing the students to join an online course and leading the discussion with the mean of 4.2 and 4.3. In contrast, the lowest interaction happens in interaction in giving feedback and interaction in closing activity with an average of 2.5. the research also found that 78.70% of mathematic teachers always provide direction to the students in starting the online class. 40.30% of them never ask students to correct incorrect assignments during online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the refractive thinking of class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Sumbang. They are distributed in terms of thinking and feeling personality types. This type of research is qualitative research. The sample of this study was six students from class VIII B who were selected using a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, refractive thinking tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that students with the thinking personality type can gather information on the problem, link information in the issue with prior knowledge, propose solutions or alternative solutions to problems, eliminate solutions or alternative solutions to issues, carry out appropriate solving strategies and re-examine the solutions that have been obtained. Feeling personality type, students can gather information on the problem, relate the information in the issue with previous knowledge, and propose solutions or alternative solutions to problems

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja dengan melihat kecerdasan logis matematis. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Peneliti mengkategorikan siswa dalam tiga kategori: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berdasarkan kecerdasan logis matematis mereka. Metode sampling purposive digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sampel dari tiga siswa yang memiliki tingkat kecerdasan logis dan matematis yang berbeda. Angket, tes, dan wawancara adalah metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data seperti reduksi, penyajian, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam memecahkan masalah, siswa dengan kecerdasan logis dan matematis tinggi mampu memahami masalah, membuat rencana penyelesaian masalah, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian masalah, melihat dan meneliti kembali jawaban. Siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis rendah mampu memahami masalah dan merencanakan penyelesaiannya, sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis sedang mampu memahami masalah.

Abstract

Design thinking can help students think outside the box and develop creativity. This study aims to describe students' design thinking skills based on the level of creativity in class X Merdeka 8 SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto. The subjects involved in this study were 36 students. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are written tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the creativity level test, students are grouped into five levels, namely very creative, creative, quite creative, less creative and not creative. Each level of creativity is chosen by one student using purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study show that students with a very creative and creative level are able to meet the five indicators of design thinking, namely emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Students with a creative level are able to meet 4 indicators, namely emphatize, define, ideate and prototype. While students with non-creative levels are only able to meet the indicators of emphatize, define, and ideate

Abstract

The study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes using problem-based learning (PBL) assisted by image media in science subjects. The research subjects used were grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng. The research method used is classroom action research which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The steps of implementing the PBL model with image media are carried out in five steps. The data collection techniques used are non-test techniques in the form of observation and interviews, and test techniques in the form of written tests. Observation sheets and interview guidelines were used to collect data on the application of PBL models with image media and learning activity. There was an increase in the application of PBL with image media to teachers in the first cycle by 84.37%, the second cycle by 90.62%. In the observation of the activities of students in cycle I as much as 82.5%, cycle II as much as 87.5%. The activeness of students in meeting 1 increased from the very high category of 27%, high 43%, increased to the very high category of 43%, high 57% in meeting 2 cycle II. The results of learning science cycle I meeting 1 the percentage of completion on the pretest is 20%, the increase in the posttest is 80% In meeting 2, the percentage of completion of the pretest by 23% increases on the posttest by 87%. In cycle II meeting 1, the percentage of completion in the pretest was 33.33%, an increase in the posttest was 86.67% In meeting 2, the percentage of complete pretest was 40%, increased in the posttest by 90%

Abstract

Salah satu masalah gizi kronis pada balita adalah stunting. Kondisi stunting meskipun dialami oleh balita, namun diakibatkan karena beberapa faktor risiko penting sejak masa kehamilan sehingga perlu perhatian lebih untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting sejak kehamilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang keefektifan berbagai upaya pencegahan stunting sejak masa kehamilan. Metode penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan penelusuran artikel di Google Scholar dalam rentang tahun 2017-2022 serta menggunakan kata kunci pencegahan stunting, stunting sejak masa kehamilan, pencegahan, stunting, dan ibu hamil. Kemudian menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi dari kegiatan posyandu balita, sosialisasi stunting dan pemberian makanan tambahan. Hasil penelitian dari artikel dan jurnal yang dikumpulkan stunting adalah status gizi yang didasarkan pada indeks PB/U atau TB/U dimana dalam standar antropometri penilaian status gizi anak, hasil pengukuran tersebut berada pada ambang batas (Z-Score) <-2 SD sampai dengan -3 SD (pendek/ stunted) dan <-3 SD (sangat pendek / severely stunted). Kemudian hasil lainnya terdapat7 baduta dan balita yang terkena stunting di Desa Gumelar, Kecamatan Gumelar, Kabupaten Banyumas sehingga di lakukannya Penanganan berupa Pemberian Makanan Tambahan yang bergizi. Selain penanganan juga terdapat pencegahan seperti diberikan sosialisasi dan kegiatan posyandu balita untuk mengkontrol perkembangan dan pertumbuhan balita.
