Abstract

Learning strategies in teaching and learning activities for children with special needs with speech impairments are of particular concern. This study aims to find out the most appropriate strategy in teacher or educator learning for children with special needs for speech impairment. The research method used is regular review by taking several articles as references. The search results for related journals were obtained from several journals which were analyzed using data techniques related to the theme. The researcher also made observations at the Sentolo Republic of Indonesia Teachers Association Special School to complete the data. The results of this study are finding the right formula in dealing with children with special needs with speech impairments in teaching and learning activities. From the results of this study, educators can easily use this strategy in teaching and learning activities. A child with special needs for speech impairment should be properly sent to school. This is important because a mute person also has the right to get a proper education. In addition, the ability to communicate with people with hearing impairments is not easy because they have to learn sign language.

Abstract

Abstract

The Eco Green Campus Program adopted by Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) aims to create a campus that is sustainable and environmentally friendly with a focus on cultivating healthy organic soil. However, tillage Organic soil require organic materials which are quite expensive and difficult to obtain, such as organic fertilizer. Therefore, innovative solutions are needed through utilization of abundant local resources such as remaining coal samples with compost that called Green Coal which was made into quality organic soil enhancer. Coal has very complete nutrients and can be used as fertilizer. In addition, the use of coal as fertilizer can reduce the potential for degradation of the quality of agricultural land. In order to meet the needs in ITS parks, coal from the rest of the laboratory testing samples can also be used as a source of soil fertilizer. However, the results of the production is still lacking by number so sometimes the compost is applied though its still half ripe. To increase its effectiveness, organic compost waste is used as a soil conditioner through the use of coal. ITS has succeeded in developing a soil enhancer product named Green Coal from residual coal sample. However, the process of making Green Coal is done manually and is constrained by time constraints. Therefore, in this research, a 3-in-1 Green Coal machine was carried out to increase the efficiency of Green Coal production. The 3-in-1 Green Coal machine consists of a chopping machine, a sieving machine and a mixing machine in one machine so it can simplify processes, cost and time efficiency in the production process. The results of this research showed that a 3-in-1 Green Coal machine can produce 10 kg/minute of Green Coal soil enhancer products.

Abstract

Optimizing traditional games in improving holistic Islamic education is an important concern. This study aims to determine the benefits of traditional games that are often played by children so that they can be maximized according to the needs that must be met. The research method used is by reviewing regularly and taking articles as references. The search results for related journals were obtained from various journals which were analyzed using data techniques related to the theme. Researchers also made observations of small children who were playing traditional games. The result of the research is that traditional games are very important to be preserved. Besides making the body healthy, traditional games help educate children, especially the physical aspects related to mental and psychological processes. This is important because a small child who is used to playing traditional games will form a character indirectly. Children in today's era are expected to be able to understand the meaning of a traditional game contained in it and be able to apply character values in everyday life.

Abstract

This study synthesizes the literature on positive self-talk in adolescents. The research aimed to comprehensively understand descriptive forms and strategies to increase positive self-talk in adolescents. The method used in this research was Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by searching relevant articles through Scopus, Taylor & Francis Group, and Sage databases. The search was limited based on predetermined inclusion criteria, and 30 articles were obtained by peer review. The research design used was Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analytics (PRISMA). The results demonstrated that the form of positive self-talk in adolescents varies and can be applied to cultivate self-talk habits that are goal-directed, rational, affective, cognitive, motivational, and have psychological functions. Strategies to improve self-talk include using gestures through repetitive practice, mental rehearsal, cognitive interventions, and using first or second-person pronouns. Furthermore, strategies to increase self-talk can be implemented using video modelling examples and naturalistic videos.
