Abstract

Traffic accidents is a major issue in the aspect of road safety. Based on data from the Directorate General of Road Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation in 2020 that 70% of traffic accident victims come from high school level students. The high number of traffic accident among students means that there is still a lack of awareness of the importance of road safety. This Community Service Activity is in the form of socialization with the theme "Road Safety Values in Vocational School Students in Makassar City". This activity aims to increase awareness and instill road safety cultural values. The implementation of this activity is carried out by conducting initial observations and coordinating with the SMKN 2 Makassar school as a partner of this activity, followed by the socialization, monitoring and evaluation activities. The implementation method is a coaching approach method through socialization with discussion techniques (questions and answers) which are carried out offline using animated videos, presentation slides and relevant images related to road crossing and driving ethics and also safety driving’s tips on the road. This activity is expected to create positive attitudes and behaviors in orderly driving behavior on the road. The results obtained by the students have high enough motivation and are quite enthusiastic, so that the material presented is easy to understand.

Abstract

Penggunaan alat ukur yang tepat dalam bidang konstruksi dan teknik sipil merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting. Salah satu alat yang sering digunakan adalah theodolite, yang digunakan untuk mengukur sudut horizontal dan vertikal dengan presisi tinggi. Alat ini menjadi sangat relevan dalam berbagai proyek konstruksi, survei tanah dan pemetaan. Namun, pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan theodolite masih terbatas di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), khususnya di daerah Majene Sulawesi Barat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan langsung ke lokasi pengabdian dan menggunakan alat praktik lengkap.Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan siswa dapat memahami cara kerja theodolite, menguasai teknik penggunaannya, serta mampu menerapkan keterampilan ini dalam berbagai situasi praktis yang akan mereka hadapi di dunia kerja nanti. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk bersaing di dunia industri yang semakin kompetitif. Pelatihan ini memberikan pengalaman praktis yang penting bagi siswa dalam bidang survei dan teknik sipil, yang akan bermanfaat dalam karier mereka di masa depan. Disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan pelatihan dengan memasukkan penggunaan alat ukur lainnya, seperti Total Station dan GPS, untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang teknologi survei modern.

Abstract

Batok kelapa memiliki material paling keras dan ciri khas seperti warna coklat alami dan guratan khas pada permukaannya sehingga berpotensi dijadikan sebagai bahan utama produk kerajinan seperti cinderamata miniatur sandeq. Namun, potensi tersebut belum mampu diolah sehingga batok kelapa masih menjadi limbah. Sasaran dalam PKM ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Leppangan, Kecamatan Sendana, Kabupaten Majene, Sulawesi Barat. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait proses pembuatan dan pengolahan batok kelapa sebagai bahan kerajinan miniatur sandeq dan meningkatkan keahlian masyarakat dalam membuat cinderamata miniatur sandeq dari limbah batok kelapa. Metode diskusi, tanya jawab dan demonstrasi proses pembuatan digunakan pada saat pemberian materi, kemudian mitra mempraktikkan secara langsung pembuatan cinderamata miniatur sandeq dari limbah batok kelapa. Diharapkan dari kegiatan PKM ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativitas masyarakat dalam membuat produk kerajinan cinderamata miniatur sandeq dari limbah batok kelapa. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) mitra dapat memahami pemanfaatan batok kelapa sebagai bahan kerajinan, dan 2) mitra mahir membuat membuat cinderamata miniatur sandeq dari limbah batok kelapa.

Abstract

Arus lalu lintas dan kecepatan perjalanan adalah bagian dari parameter utama yang digunakan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lalu lintas di suatu ruas jalan tertentu sehingga untuk mengetahui rata-rata kepadatan kendaraan di jalan raya dibutuhkan survei dalam menghitung jumlah kendaraan. Pengambilan data yang dilakukan masih menggunakan cara manual dengan menghitung satu persatu kendaraan yang melintas di jalan raya. Hal tersebut di rasa masih kurang efektif karena akan membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama dalam pengambilan data kendaraan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan; (2) meningkatkan pemahaman tentang aplikasi multi counter pada smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan ; dan (3) meningkatkan pemahaman cara pemakaian aplikasi multi counter pada smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan . Pelaksanaan PKM di pusatkan pada petugas lapangan Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bulukumba. Hasil program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) bagi petugas lapangan Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bulukumba yaitu: (1) memiliki pengetahuan tentang smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan; (2) memiliki pemahaman tentang aplikasi multi counter pada smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan; dan (3) meningkatnya pemahaman cara pemakaian aplikasi multi counter pada smartphone untuk perhitungan kendaraan lalu lintas di jalan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and understanding in learning praktik plumbing through the application of interactive learning videos based on LUMI H5P. The method used is ADDIE model-based development which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The interactive video was developed to support independent learning by inserting evaluation questions in the video material. The results show that the use of interactive content based on H5P can increase student learning motivation, accelerate task completion, and facilitate the evaluation process with automatic feedback. The implementation of this technology is also able to overcome the limitations of static document-based learning. In conclusion, the use of LUMI H5P in learning praktik plumbing significantly improves student engagement and understanding, and promotes more flexible and effective learning. It is recommended that the use of H5P interactive content be integrated more widely in various practical courses to support the quality of digital learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants influencing the adoption of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems among mobile micro-enterprises in Makassar, Indonesia. Drawing upon the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) extended with two contextual constructs Energy Needs and Ease & Support the research employs a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 30 mobile coffee vendors. Reliability and regression analyses confirm the model’s robustness, indicating that Perceived Usefulness, Technology Acceptance, and Energy Needs significantly predict the intention to adopt PV systems, while Ease & Support shows no significant effect. The study extends the application of TAM to the informal micro-enterprise context, which has rarely been explored in renewable energy adoption research. Findings highlight that perceived economic benefits and energy necessity outweigh technical convenience in shaping adoption behavior. This suggests that micro-entrepreneurs’ motivation is primarily driven by practicality and efficiency rather than ease of use. The results provide policy insights for promoting inclusive green transitions through targeted micro-financing, technical training, and supportive urban regulations for small mobile vendors. Overall, this pilot investigation offers a validated framework for future empirical studies on renewable energy adoption within developing-country micro-enterprise sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement cloud-based learning media through the integration of the Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) and Tug of Knowledge in order to enhance the digital learning experience in the classroom. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research participants comprised 32 students from the Family Welfare Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data were collected through observations of student engagement, documentation of learning interactions, and analysis of task outcomes, which were subsequently analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods based on a 1–5 response scale. The results revealed an increase in student engagement, as indicated by an average engagement score of 4.35, as well as an improvement in group discussion participation of approximately 28% compared to learning conditions prior to the implementation of the media. In addition, 87.5% of students provided positive responses to the use of this media, particularly with regard to interactivity, collaboration, and learning motivation. These findings indicate that the integration of the Interactive Flat Panel and Tug of Knowledge as cloud-based learning media is effective in creating a more interactive, collaborative, and measurable digital learning experience and is aligned with the needs of 21st-century learning.
