Abstract

The critical thinking skills of students in class XI SMAN 1 Bawang are low because of their lack of active participation. Students rely too much on the teacher, so they have difficulty mastering the coordination system material. This study aims to describe the characteristics of the diktat, analyze its feasibility, and analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills after using the problem-based learning and coordination system diktat. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students of classes XI and XII MIPA SMAN 1 Bawang in the even semester of the 2022–2023 academic year. The sampling used the purposive sampling technique. The readability of the problem-based learning-based coordination system dictated by 18 XII grade students in the small-scale test obtained a result of 81.69% with a very feasible category.  The results of this study indicate that the problem-based learning-based coordination system dictates self-directed, self-contained, adaptive, user-friendly, and attractive appearance characteristics. The results of lecturer validation of the feasibility of the diktat of 95.83%, teacher assessment of 86.67%, and student responses of 77.36% showed an average of 86.62% that the developed product was very feasible to use in learning the coordination system. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the problem-based learning-based coordination system diktat was tested by involving 107 students from three XI MIPA classes. 92.53% of students got a complete score of KKM (70). There were differences in students' critical thinking skills after the pretest and post-test. The average n-gain score obtained in the student critical thinking ability test was 0.63 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the problem-based learning-based coordination system dictate meets the characteristics of a dictate, is very feasible to use in learning, and is effective because it can improve the critical thinking skills of grade XI students of SMAN 1 Bawang on coordination system material.

Abstract

The results of interviews with biology teachers in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi show that the 4C skills of students in class XI MIPA are low due to the absence of a variety of teaching materials and that the role of the teacher as a teacher has not been implemented properly. Therefore, a discovery-learning-based e-module was developed on coordination material to improve students' 4C skills. The purpose of this study was to analyse the feasibility, readability, and practicality of using e-modules and the improvement of students' 4C skills on coordination system material. This type of research is research and development, and the research design used is the development research design, according to Thiagarajan et al. (1974). The instruments used in this study were the product validation questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, readability questionnaire, student response questionnaire, pre-test and post-test questions, observation sheet, and peer assessment. The results of the study showed that the e-module was feasible to use, obtaining an average score of 92.97%. Students' readability of the e-module obtained a score of 96.48% with very good criteria. Students' responses to the practicality of using e-modules amounted to 89.82%, with very practical criteria. The discovery learning-based e-module developed on coordination system material has an effect on students in the form of increasing their 4C skills. The conclusion of this research is that e-modules based on discovery learning on coordination system material are feasible and practical to use in learning coordination systems, have very good readability, and are effective in improving the 4C skills of SMA Negeri 1 Slawi students.

Abstract

Tepung ikan mempunyai harga yang relative tinggi, sehingga diperlukan penambahan pakan dengan kandungan protein yang tidak kalah dengan tepung ikan seperti tepung maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF). Maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) merupakan larva lalat Hermetia Illucens yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pakan protein yang sangat baik. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis efektivitas tepung maggot BSF yang dicampur dalam pakan terhadap indeks kuning telur, bobot telur, diameter telur, dan kadar protein telur burung puyuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan rancang acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan. Puyuh dipelihara selama 3 bulan. Data dianalisis secara statistic, apabila ada perbedaan pengaruh dintara perlakuan maka dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak Berganda Duncan’s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas telur burung puyuh yang diberikan pakan berupa tepung maggot memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda nyata secara signifikan antara tiap perlakuan. Simpulan yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tepung maggot dapat meningkatkan kualitas telur burung puyuh.

Abstract

Akuaponik, sebagai sistem budidaya terintegrasi antara perikanan dan pertanian, menawarkan solusi inovatif dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya yang efisien. Kegiatan ini untuk mengeksplorasi potensi budidaya akuaponik sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat diperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan akuaponik dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya dalam aspek ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan yang mencakup kajian mengenai aspek teknis budidaya akuaponik, analisis ekonomis, serta evaluasi dampak sosial dari penerapan sistem ini. Metode dalam dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu sosialisasi dan edukasi, pelatihan teknis,serta monitoring dan eavalasi. Peserta berjumlah 20 orang dari ibu-ibu PKK di RT 03/RW08 Kelurahan Patemon. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta pengabdian antusias mengikuti kegiatan baik teori maupun praktik. Dua bulan setelah ppraktik budidaya ikan lele dipanen dan 10% dari keselurahan ikan lele sejumlah 50 ekor sekitar10 ekor mati. Pertumbuhan kangkung selama 2 bulan menunjukan adanya pertumbuhan dilihat dari tinggi , jumlah daun dan cabangnya. Dari program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diberikan dapat membuka wawasan peserta tentang budidaya ikan dan sayuran dengan akuaponik. yang dapat digunakan dalam budidaya sayuran bebas bahan kimia sehingga meningkatan gizi sayuran. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai inisiasi pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan keterampilan sehingga dapat menambah pendapatan karena sayuran kangkung dan ikan lele dapat dikonsumsi sendiri atau dijual sehingga akan menambah pendaparan keluarga.

Abstract

Biology learning requires students to think critically, logically, factually and the reproductive system material is complicated, making it difficult for students to understand the lesson and lack collaboration skills. The aim of this research is to analyze the validity, practicality and effectiveness of scientific literacy-based E-LKPD on reproductive system material to improve high school students' learning outcomes and collaboration skills. The type of research used is Research and Development research with a pre-experimental  one group pretest-posttest design. The population in the study were students of grade XI SMA Negeri 7 Semarang. The research sample selection used a purposive sampling technique with samples from class XI-5 and XI-6. The research stages include potential and problem analysis, product design, product validation, initial product revision, small-scale trials, final product revisions, large-scale trials, and final product. The research results show that the validity of the E-LKPD product based on scientific literacy on reproductive system material obtained very valid criteria with a percentage of 92,13%. The practicality of E-LKPD products based on scientific literacy on reproductive system material obtained very practical criteria with a percentage of 93,45% from teachers and 93,55% from students. E-LKPD based on scientific literacy on reproductive system material was declared effective in improving learning outcomes with an average N-gain of 0,62 and collaboration skills with a score of  90,62%. E-LKPD based on scientific literacy on reproductive system material was successfully developed in the category of very valid, very practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes and collaboration skills at SMA Negeri 7 Semarang.

Abstract

Tempe merupakan produk yang familiar dan mudah diolah menjadi bermacam-macam makanan siap santap. Saat ini, belum dikenal dan belum familiar produk tempe yang diproduksi dengan tambahan tepung dari tanaman potensial, misalnya kelor, kersen dan porang. Tempe yang mendapatkan proses pengolahan sedemikian disebut tempe inovasi, merupakan varian baru dari industri tempe. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan cara produksi tempe inovasi dengan fortifikan herbal yaitu kelor, kersen dan porang serta untuk menentukan fisik tempe inovasi dan profil kimia meliputi kandungan protein dan antioksidan. Tempe inovasi merupakan tempe yang dalam pembuatannya mendapat fortifikan bahan herbal sebesar 1-2%. Produk tempe yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan untuk bahan baku pembuatan camilan, lauk pauk dan sayur-mayur. Permasalahan pada observasi riset awal ini adalah bagaimana teknologi pembuatannya dan apakah ada perbedaan kandungan protein dan angka antioksidan produk tempe inovasi dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Telah dilakukan praktik pembuatan tempe inovasi secara higienis dan menghasilkan produk tempe inovasi matang tidak berbeda secara fisik dengan tempe original. Kandungan protein dan angka antioksidan secara umum berbeda dengan kontrol masing masing pada rentang angka 3, 019 dan 0,90.
