Abstract

This study aims to  determine the  competency-based  teaching materials development program to improve student life skills, implementation, problems and challenges, and future improvement steps. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at the Ma'arif Nahdotul Ulama Vocational High School, Garut Regency, West Java Province. The data collection techniques were interviews and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis techniques using an inductive approach. The research results are: First, the teaching material development program carried out is planning  development  quality  objectives,  establishing  a  School  Activity Plan, collaborating with the business world and the industrial world. Second, the  implementation  is  that  the  partnership  relationship  is  not  optimal. Implementing the guidelines for the development of teaching materials is not optimal. Good management is needed in implementing the results of the development of teaching materials, and an additional budget is required. Third, the problems faced are poor management of school principals, inadequate curriculum development and cooperation,  preliminary school budgets, a productive syllabus that needs to be developed, and industrial practices for production are not optimal. Simultaneously, the future challenges are the student resources managing the partnership, the students' character, and  the demands for  practical facilities that require special attention.  Fourth, the  corrective  steps  are that the regulation of material development needs particular attention, additional budget is needed, the apprenticeship material must adjust to the productive syllabus, quality learning, improved competency tests, the competence of educators needs to be improved, optimizing the acceptance of new students, completing facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Eksistensi pendidikan Islam, hubungan langsungnya bukan dengan masa atau era tertentu, melainkan situasi dan kondisi rill kaum muslimin pada masa atau era tersebut. Dalam perspektif demikian ini, pendidikan Islam hanya dapat menjalankan fungsinya untuk memajukan kaum muslimin di tengah dinamika kehidupan bangsa, manakala kaum muslimin memiliki kemampuan otoritatif untuk mendukung eksistensi pendidikan Islam. Dalam formulasi lain, kaum muslimin dan pendidikan Islam, adalah dua hal yang dari segi tertentu dapat dibedakan, tetapi tidak mungkin dipisahkan. Konsekuensinya, untuk dapat memahami dan menjelaskan dengan baik implikasi UU SISDIKNAS terhadap pendidikan Islam hal ini ditempuh dengan mencermati secara predikatif sebagai aspek kehidupan kaum muslimin pada saat ini dengan berbagai pendekatan yang ada. Abstract

The 33rd NU Muktamar in Jombang 2015 mandated about 'developing other businesses through collaboration with domestic and foreign parties that benefit the community at large in order to realize the khaira ummah' (AD/ART NU, Article 9). Since the 13th NU Muktamar in Pandeglang 1939, NU has initiated Mabadi' Khaira Ummah (MKU). MKU is the basic principle of forming an ideal society. MKU consists of five basic principles, namely, ash-shidqu (true not lying, trust) al amanah wal-wafa bil 'ahdi (trust, keeping promises, loyal, commitment), at-ta'awun (helping, mutual helping), al adalah (fairness) and al istiqamah (firmness, constancy, consistency). In the midst of the era of industry 4.0 and society 5.0 as it is today, MKU is of course very urgent to provide a harmonious balance so that the goals of industry 4.0 productivity with the human life convenience of society 5.0 in various parts of the world can take place sustainably and full of grace. MKU is also becoming increasingly important alongside the 18 values ​​of character education.

Abstract

This study focuses on the internal and external analysis and the concept of new product development for a business. The main objective is to identify internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats, and create a competitive new product strategy. Internal analysis evaluates the company's resources and capabilities, while external analysis examines market conditions, competition, and trends. SWOT and PESTEL frameworks are utilized for comprehensive assessment. Based on these analyses, the study proposes several new product ideas aimed at meeting market demands and improving competitiveness. The development process includes identifying market needs, generating and testing product concepts, and launching and evaluating the product. The findings highlight the importance of integrating internal and external factors and emphasizing customer-centric approaches to ensure successful product innovation.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become a key pillar in economic and social development worldwide. As a process involving opportunity identification, innovation, and new venture creation, it drives economic growth, job creation, and societal welfare. In this context, entrepreneurial education plays a crucial role in fostering the necessary skills and mindset. Through well-designed programs, individuals gain the knowledge and attitude to succeed as entrepreneurs. However, a significant challenge remains: measuring the effectiveness of entrepreneurial education due to the lack of clear indicators. This study focuses on developing measurable indicators to assess entrepreneurship education outcomes, ensuring the programs' success in nurturing entrepreneurial skills and values. Key indicators include religiosity, noble character, creativity, independence, and environmental awareness, emphasizing the importance of integrating national culture into entrepreneurship development.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the quality assurance according to Islam and the experience of its application in Islamic-based public education institutions. Quality assurance in education and other fields has been widely practiced in Indonesia. Many experts have discussed quality assurance, but it is still in education in general, not specifically religious education. However, it is still in the aspect of education generally, not specifically religious education. Religious education has a strategic and urgent role in instilling morals/noble character in the generation of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, Islamic religious education is given special attention in the 2013 curriculum and given additional hours of study to produce a generation of people who are moral, faithful, and pious. It is said that the better generation, the better the quality assurance of education. This research was a qualitative study. It was a case study. It was at Vocational High Schools Ma'arif Nahdhatul Ulama, Garut, West Java, Indonesia (SMK Ma'arif NU Garut). This study shows that the application of quality assurance in Islam must balance the religious and rationality values so that there is no paradox between the two, as was successfully implemented at SMK Ma'arif NU Garut. This success proves that no religious values contradict rationality, so it should be used as a basis to support or complement the theory/concept and practice of quality assurance in other Islamic-based public education institutions.

Abstract

Background: The activity of sorting waste is simple but requires awareness and commitment from the individual concerned. Scientific understanding in sorting is also needed to become a basis that can strengthen individual commitment and responsibility in handling waste. Public facilities whose sanitary conditions do not meet the requirements will be synonymous with slum and dirty conditions. Sanitation facilities and facilities that meet the requirements will certainly support the existence of healthy schools. Healthy schools are also one of the themes of community service that has been carried out by many community service teams in various educational institutions. Objective: This community service activity aims to find out efforts to improve soil environmental health, waste management, and find out the response to IT-based waste management in the school. Methods: Direct field surveys at school locations, conducting outreach, and demonstrations of IT-based tools are the methods used in our team's community service. Results: Soil quality at both school locations for pH and humidity parameters in the categories meets the requirements, indicating that there are no activities that have the potential to pollute the soil at these locations. Waste management efforts are already at the sorting and processing/composting stage which continues to be processed by partner 1. There is a positive response from both partners to the IT-based waste sorting tool. There was an increase in students' knowledge at both schools regarding waste sorting before and after the counseling. Conclusion: Environmental sanitation efforts and good IT-based training responses need to continue to be followed by good and sustainable waste processing practices..Key words: smart sorting bin, waste sorting

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine: (1) the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning motivation of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi and (2) the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design using a pre-test and post-test group research design. The research results showed that there was no influence of PBL on the learning motivation of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi. The influence of PBL on the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at MAN 2 Sukabumi in each domain is: (1) there is an influence of the PBL model on students' social attitude learning outcomes, (2) there is no influence of the PBL model on students' spiritual learning outcomes, (3) there is an influence of the PBL model on students' knowledge learning outcomes (4) there is an influence of the PBL model on learning outcomes student skills. The application of the PBL model to increase motivation so that it becomes optimal should be modified.

Abstract

Background: Poor access to clean water can be an indirect cause of stunting in toddlers. This is because the need for clean water and sanitation at home is not met, this condition makes toddlers susceptible to diseases such as diarrhea.  Activity objectives: increase community knowledge about how to process water, provide access to clean water for families of stunted toddlers, and improve water processing skills. Method: This activity is in partnership with Baleendah Community Health Center, RW 18 and RW 27, Baleendah sub-district. The method used is education and training on groundwater treatment with filtration, targeting 6 families of stunted toddlers and 30 community members. Results: There is an increase in knowledge and water quality. The water becomes colorless, odorless and clear and the levels of manganese and iron in clean water fall below the required levels. Conclusion: People understand and realize the importance of clean water, they can apply the filtration process to treat ground water. Families of stunted toddlers can have access to clean water by processing groundwater into clean water.

Abstract

Menjadi entrepreneur pada masa modernini tidak hanya dilihat dari siapa pemimpinnya melainkan bagaimana kolaborasi dalam tim. Begitupun dengan lembaga pendidikan tidak hanya seorang pemimpin yang bergerak namun adanya kerja sama dengan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Memiliki komunikasi yang baik dan bernegosiasi yang efektif adalah kunci utama dalam mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pemilihan sumber literatur seperti jurnal, buku, artikel, dan sumber terpercaya lainnya yang relevan dengan topik yang dipilih oleh peneliti. Focus penelitian ini tertuju pada bidang pendidikan dan kewirausahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini kualitas dari para good team player sangat berarti dan esensial dalam tercapainya goals atau keberhasilan organisasi dengan syarat-syarat yang dimiliki seperti mampu berkolaboratif, memiliki empati, komitmen dan dedikasi.
