Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the lack of knowledge and skills in accessing and utilizing digital technology has made MSME entrepreneurs in Kedungsegog Village struggle to compete in an increasingly competitive market. As a result, they often miss opportunities to optimize sales and grow their businesses. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enhance MSME entrepreneurs' understanding of digital technology utilization in marketing strategies and business operations. The activity was conducted through direct (offline) socialization, including material presentations and interactive discussions. The results show an increased understanding among MSME entrepreneurs regarding the importance of digital technology in supporting their businesses, particularly in marketing, operational efficiency, and information access. Additionally, MSME entrepreneurs have shown motivation to optimize customer service and expand their market reach to the regional level. To ensure the sustainability of this initiative's impact, follow-up mentoring programs are needed so that the adoption of digital technology can be consistently and optimally implemented in their business management.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning strategy in improving science learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at MI Ma’arif Pabelan, Central Java, Indonesia. A classroom action research design was applied over three cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants included 33 students (22 males and 11 females). Data were gathered through achievement tests, structured observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results revealed steady improvements in student mastery: 51.51% in Cycle I, 69.69% in Cycle II, and 87.87% in Cycle III, surpassing both the minimum competency standard (65) and the classical completeness benchmark (85%). These findings confirm that Snowball Throwing is effective in enhancing engagement and learning achievement, especially in teaching conceptually abstract science topics such as the Earth’s appearance and celestial motion. The study contributes to the literature by documenting iterative improvements across multiple cycles, highlighting its applicability in underrepresented contexts such as Islamic elementary schools. Beyond affirming the value of cooperative learning, this research emphasizes the importance of reflective teaching practices and iterative instructional refinement in achieving sustainable improvements in science education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between advertising attractiveness on Skintific’s repurchase intention on the Tiktok platform which is moderated by celebrity endosers. This research is a quantitative study with primary data sources obtained from distributing questionnaires via google form. Data for this study were obtained from 71 respondents who are Slamet Riyadi University students who have seen Skintific advertisements on Tiktok, know Skintific celebrity endosers, and have purcashed Skintific products on Tiktok. The data analysis method uses MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis) with the help of SPSS version 22. The results of this study indicate that the advertising attractiveness variable has a positive effect on repurchase intention, the celebrity endoser variable has a positive effect on repurchase intention, and the celebrity endoser is proven to weaken the relationship between advertising attractiveness and Skintific repurchase intention on the Tiktok platform.

Abstract

However, in some businesses, job requirements are sometimes not in line with employees' aspirations for professional advancement, which often leads to a high incidence of employee turnover. The goal of this study is to determine how the likelihood of employee turnover is influenced by career development, emotional commitment, normative commitment, and continuation commitment.Purposive sampling was also utilised in this study to choose respondents. 158 employees, primarily on the island of Java, who work in the waste business industry were the subject of this study. The data is examined using the structural equation model (SEM) technique. According to the study's findings, career growth positively and significantly influences commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Additionally, career growth, affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment do not influence turnover intention. Last but not least, psychological capital does not moderate the relationship between affective commitment and turnover intention.

Abstract

The incidence of cancer continues to increase annually, yet public awareness of early symptoms remains relatively low. A previous study in one of the sub-districts in Kenjeran showed that around 40% of housewives had never performed BSE (Breast Self-Examination) as an early detection effort for breast cancer. This study aimed to determine the effect of pharmacist-led education and demonstration on improving community knowledge and quality of life in cancer prevention and awareness efforts. This study used a pre-post test group design experimental method and was conducted on October 7, 2020, at the Kejawan Lor Futsal Field. The intervention was carried out through education and demonstration methods in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Measurements were taken using questionnaires assessing two variables knowledge and quality of life through pre-tests and post-tests. The results show that knowledge scores increased significantly, from an average of 44% to over 86% after the intervention. Similarly, quality of life scores improved from 33–55% to 83–88% in the post-test. These findings indicate that educational approaches accompanied by demonstrations are effective in raising public knowledge and awareness about cancer prevention. This intervention also has a positive impact on improving the respondents’ quality of life. Therefore, similar programs should be continuously implemented, especially in communities with limited access to health information, such as those in the Kenjeran District.

Abstract

JimsHoney Kendal merupakan bagian dari CV JimsHoney Indonesia. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang fashion kebutuhan sehari-hari sejak tahun 2014. Menyediakan tas, dompet, serta jam tangan untuk pria dan wanita. Diawali sebagai online shop, kemudian berkembang dengan membuka offline store. Namun, terdapat kekurangan media promosi berupa brosur yang kurang menarik dan informatif. Masalah yang dapat dirumuskan: 1) Bagaimana merancang media promosi brosur untuk JimsHoney Kendal? 2) Bagaimana membuat desain brosur yang dapat meningkatkan brand awareness JimsHoney Kendal? 3) Bagaimana merancang brosur yang tepat agar pesan promosi tersampaikan pada sasaran? Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif. Data yang di peroleh berupa kurangnya promosi offline terutama media promosi berupa brosur. Hasil penelitian berupa Perancangan Brosur sebagai Media Promosi JimsHoney Kendal. Brosur sebagai media promosi JimsHoney Kendal ini, diharapkan bisa menjadi media promosi yang efektif, sebagai salah satu produk fashion dengan kualitas terbaik. Saran yang diberikan agar lebih sering memperbaharui media promosi terutama brosur guna untuk meningkatkan minat pembeli.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, produk UMKM menjadi salah satu jenis usaha yang memiliki peranan penting bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi khususnya pada produk makanan. Namun, masih banyak para pelaku usaha yang belum memahami akan pentingya sebuah kemasan untuk dijadikan sebagai strategi pemasaran untuk menyaingi kompetitor lain. Salah satu pelaku usaha UMKM ini ada di Desa Terban Kabupaten Batang yang memiliki usaha produk makanan ringan sale pisang. Produk ini diberi nama “Lesale”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan visual branding. Teknik pengumpulan data ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, brainstorming dan diakhiri dengan penawaran desain kemasan produk makanan ringan “lesale. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa key consept “lesale”, warna yang digunakan serta hasil pengembangan kemasan primer dan sekunder disesuaikan dengan target marketnya.

Abstract

Abstrak Generasi muda merupakan salah satu penerus bangsa dalam melanjutkan pembangunan suatu negara. Namun, proses tersebut akan terhambat jika generasi muda sudah dirusak akibat pengaruh penyalahgunaan narkoba. Hal tersebut diakrenakan masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dan kritis bagi perkembangan anak. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukannya upaya yang lebih dari pihak akademisi desain untuk membantu dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut melalui media visual desain berbentuk komik strip. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana cara merancang media edukasi bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba melalui komik strip?. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis 5W + 1H. Hasil penelitian ini berupa bentuk karya komik strip edukasi bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba yang berbentuk kartunal. Abstract The younger generation is one of the nation's successors in continuing the development of a country. However, this process will be hampered if the younger generation has been damaged by the influence of drug abuse. This is because adolescence is a transitional and critical period for child development. Therefore, more effort is needed on the part of design academics to assist in overcoming these problems through the visual medium of design in the form of comic strips. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to design educational media on the dangers of drug abuse through comic strips? This research method uses a qualitative approach and 5W + 1H analysis. The results of this study are in the form of educational comic strips on the dangers of drug abuse in the form of cartoons. Abstract

UMKM adalah jenis usaha yang dimiliki oleh peroranagan atau badan, dan memiliki trend sangat positif. Banyak pelaku usaha berlomba untuk membranding produknya agar dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor lain. Kota pekalongan menjadi salah satu daerah yang memiliki banyak pelaku usaha yang bergerak dibidang UMKM. Zea Snack merupakan satu dari banyaknya pelaku UMKM yang memiliki produk usaha berupa makanan ringan di Kota Pekalongan. Produk jualannya berupa bakso goreng (Basreng). Basreng adalah makanan ringan terbuat dari bakso ikan yang digoreng. Basreng merupakan salah satu makanan ringan yang banyak disukai oleh kalangan anak muda hingga dewasa, karena memiliki cita rasa gurih dan pedas. Namun, dalam menjalankan usahanya, Zea Snack belum memiliki desain kemasan yang unik, kekinian dan sesuai trend. Begitu pula dalam strategi pemasaran produknya juga tergolong masih kurang baik. Saat ini, Zea Snack masih memasarkan produknya dilingkungan sekitar Kota Pekalongan. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya perancangan desain kemasan yang simple, unik serta mengikuti trend saat ini. Upaya ini diharapkan mampu digunakan untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasaran produk basreng ke pasar yang lebih luas agar mendapatkan konsumen lebih banyak diluar Kota Pekalongan.

Abstract

Permen Jahe “Cap Tebu” merupakan salah satu produk olahan makanan khas Pekalongan yang terbuat dari bahan dasar jahe, gula, tepung kanji, wijen, dan kelapa iris. Permen Jahe “Cap Tebu” masuk pada usaha home industry yang tergabung pada kelompok UMKM Kabupaten Pekalongan. Tuntutan berbagai inovasi dalam pengembangan produk serta strategi digital pada produk UMKM saat ini yang semakin berkembang, mengharuskan pelaku usaha permen jahe melakukan suatu perancangan strategi agar mampu meraih pangsa pasar yang lebih luas. Untuk meningkatkan eksistensi tersebut, maka diperlukannya sebuah rebranding produk olahan permen jahe “Cap Tebu” melalui perancangan desain kemasan yang modern. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan pendekatan Analisis USP (Unique Selling Proposition), Analisis SWOT, dan Analisis STP (Segmenting, Targeting, dan Positioning). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini berupa desain kemasan produk olahan permen jahe “Cap Tebu” yang berbentuk Standing Pouch dan menggunakan ziplock. Harapannya melalui penelitian ini, produk olahan permen jahe “Cap Tebu” dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor serta mampu meraih pangsa pasar yang lebih luas melalui strategi pasar digital.
