Abstract

Based on the RTRW (Regional Spatial Planning) in Samarinda City for the period 2014 to 2034 it states that there are plans for urban infrastructure on Jalan KH. Abul Hasan, namely in the form of providing and using pedestrian network infrastructure facilities in the Samarinda City area. However, in reality, the pedestrian paths in the area do not meet the criteria set for road users. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility level of pedestrian paths for pedestrian path users by analyzing the Pedestrian Environmental Quality Index (PEQI). Quantitative qualitative descriptive analysis method based on PEQI analysis from direct observation with traffic indicator variables, pedestrian path design, and use of pedestrian path space with nine sub-variables contained therein. Jalan KH. Abul Hasan, City of Samarinda in this study is divided into three segments based on building designation, namely Segment 1 (Trade and Services), Segment 2 (Education), and Segment 3 (Green Open Space). The results of the PEQI in the three segments are the quality of basic pedestrian paths, which have standard or average (basic) quality provided conditions are met, but can be improved (III).

The method of implementing activities carried out with the learning by doing system. The activities carried out started from discovering village potential, sharing knowledge for those who have experience, forming processing groups, conducting kawista fruit nurseries, creating social media and promotion through MSME activities. The results that have been obtained during the activity are kawista fruit as the superior product of the village, the community has knowledge in processing kawista fruit, increasing a sense of togetherness, the spirit of mutual cooperation in processing kawista fruit, the community can do kawista fruit nurseries, how to make and operate media social media, as well as how to make an NIB (Business Identification Number) as a condition for participating in MSME festival activities. Meanwhile, the results achieved in the long term are that the community has the skills, understanding, harmony, independence so that the Duren Village community is able to create a Kawista Processed Industrial Center which can be marketed starting from the West Java region, outside West Java Province and even to foreign countries. Abstract

X Balikpapan is a business engaged in furniture production. Based on product defect data in 2022. It is known that there is an average gap between the percentage of the number of product defects which is 13.8% and the product defect standard that has been set on the sofa at 10%. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of failure that must be handled and proposed countermeasures based on the expert system-based FMEA method. The methods used are FMEA and Expert System that connected to Artificial Intellegence Program. The FMEA method is a database in identifying and analyzing failures that produce a Risk Priority Number (RPN) value. The expert system method as a computer system algorithm to imitate the capabilities transferred from an expert expert to a computer to be stored in memory so that it can consult with the computer. The results of this study are in the form of an expert system website design based on the FMEA method with a percentage of data accuracy of 86.66% from 30 system testing data based on environmental conditions on the type of process failure that has occurred in sofa production which results in the type of failure that must be handled, namely in the assembly production process and the type of process failure, namely plywood or broken wood with the highest RPN value of 216 along with recommendations for efforts The countermeasures, is that before the sofa product is sent to the customer, do a final inspection of the plywood and wood used by means of a sofa durability test with a predetermined maximum load. Make sure there are no weaknesses or damage that can cause rupture of plywood and wood.

Abstract

Minmarket is part of the modern retail market, has experienced rapid growth in various residential areas, including Muara Rapak Village, Balikpapan City Minimarket has become one of the choices of the community in shopping that provides convenience and good service management to meet the daily needs of the community. These retailers offer a clean and comfortable shopping experience, longer service hours, and provide various modern payment methods. The primary aim of this research is to determine the impact of minimarket growth on the Muara Rapak Village Area. To analyze the distribution pattern, use the Average Nearest Neighbor tool. According to the observed pattern and study of minimarket distribution in Kelurahan Muara Rapak, it has a critical value (z-score) of 3.342479. Therefore, it can be concluded that the current minimarket distribution pattern is uniformly distributed. The examination of service accessibility using the buffer approach and road network assessment revealed that some minimarkets in Muara Rapak Village are unable to adequately meet the demands of the local population. Based on the results of community preferences that minimarket locations are not suitable to serve the interests of shopping, this is directly proportional to the growth of minimarkets that are uniformly patterned on one road section only.

Abstract

Transportation and land use planning are two interrelated aspects. A mismatch between land use regulations and an unaligned transportation system will trigger various transportation issues, such as congestion. The higher the level of land use generation, the higher the traffic volume on a road. One of the road corridors with a high intensity of vehicle movement generation in Balikpapan is the Soekarno-Hatta KM 4-5 road corridor. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the movement generation caused by the existing land use in the area affects the road performance on the Soekarno-Hatta KM 4-5 Corridor in Balikpapan City. The data collection method uses primary surveys to determine the influence of land use generation on road performance in the study location, using the trip-rate method. The findings reveal that most of the land use along the corridor falls into the category of having a minor impact; two land uses have a moderate impact, and one land use significantly affects the road performance in the area, which is the use of the Platinum Hotel.

Abstract

Facilities are facilities or tools needed to support a particular activity or activities. Developing facilities is one way to improve the quality of life of people in an area. Klandasan Ulu Village is one of the villages on the coast with a fairly dense population, but does not yet have adequate facilities for its people. The facilities in question include ablution places at local prayer rooms, alley signboards, and communal trash cans for residents. Therefore, it is necessary to develop facilities in the village to support the activities of the residents of Pesisir Village so that they can carry out their activities comfortably. The method for carrying out activities begins with discussions with local residents regarding the construction of rubbish bins, ablution places and sign boards along with their installation points. The results obtained during the activity were facilitating the community in disposing of rubbish easily, creating ablution facilities to facilitate worship activities, and creating sign boards as a useful information medium for the local community.

Abstract

Massive urban land use change has emerged as a significant global phenomenon in recent decades, profoundly impacting city morphology, environment, and biodiversity. Uncontrolled urbanization leads to land conversion, alters agricultural livelihoods, and drives the agglomeration and concentration of urban areas. To address these challenges, comprehensive and integrated spatial planning is essential. The urban spatial structure, encompassing the network of facilities and infrastructure, supports socio-economic activities and connects urban centers and sub-centers through transportation networks. Analytical methods such as scalograms, Guttman scales, and centrality indices are employed to determine the structure of service centers. This study identifies service centers in Penajam Village, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, a region experiencing substantial population growth. The objective of this research is to identify service centers and their associated urban area coverage, as well as the availability of facilities within the context of urbanization surrounding the development of the new national capital. This study aims to provide deeper insights into growth dynamics and inform effective urban spatial planning strategies.
