Abstract

The progress of the village and its inhabitants is one of the goals of village empowerment where managing and serving the interests of the population is the obligation of the village government. Based on the type of village services provided in Sumberrejo village, several problems were found, including the process of recap and integration of daily resident data that had to be done twice, the lack of knowledge of the population regarding the submission of letter administration, and the process of disseminating social assistance information which was not coordinated so that it was less accurate and detailed. The service application and village information center were built for the Android platform with mail submission services, daily population data collection, and access to social assistance information in order to achieve equitable population welfare. In this study, the Prototyping method is used to produce an application that can accommodate changes in the development process based on feedback provided by stakeholders and users at the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the implementation carried out using the Kotlin programming language and Firebase database, black box testing has been carried out with 100% valid results, compatibility testing with 100% compatible results for Android SDK levels 21 to 32, and usability testing with an average SUS value ( The final System Usability Scale for residents is 91.5, for RT heads it is 85.5 and for village administrative staff it is 83, where each is included in grade A+, Best Imaginable status, and Acceptable category.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has crippled all face-to-face activities that have an impact on all aspects of life, including aspects of education. Pagerwojo Primary School is one of several educational institutions that are affected by replacing its learning process with online school. However, the facilities provided by the school are not adequate. This can be seen from the media used for online learning processes which are through the WhatsApp messaging application which has several obstacles in the process of delivering learning.. From that problem, information technology is viewed as a solution that can accommodate various online schools. The study aims to design the user experience of a good mobile learning application using the Human-Centered Design approach (HCD), involving stakeholders and users in every step. The steps are determining the context of use, analyzing user needs, making design solutions, and evaluating design solutions. Evaluation of design solutions using usability testing and user experience. The results of the evaluation on the aspect of effectiveness produce a success rate of 100%, the efficiency aspect produces 0.03 goals/sec and the satisfaction aspect has an average value of 6.2. User experience testing the rating scale of attractiveness, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty is in the excellent category and the clarity scale is in a good category. From the evaluation results, improvements were made to produce a better design solution.

Abstract

One way to deepen understanding of the use of English is to take the TOEFL test. The initial stage before taking the TOEFL exam is administering the exam. The administrative management stage of the registrant must complete the various data provided, such as carrying out registration activities and financial recapitulation. With the current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic makes activities carried out offline become completely online. The pandemic caused problems because the relevant agencies limited physical interaction in terms of administering the TOEFL exam. The interaction above is an interaction between the manager and prospective registrants in conducting administration. Administrative activities include registration, value announcement reporting processes, distribution of certificates and financial management processes including financial entry and exit records, financial information and financial reports. Based on the problems above, the authors provide an idea to create a Website-Based TOEFL Test Administration Management System to facilitate a more effective TOEFL service, namely reducing time and energy for participants when carrying out administrative and worker activities in terms of administering TOEFL exam administration and time efficiency. The system implemented can accommodate announcements of exam openings, verification of exam registration via email, automatic payments using midtrans, score announcements and financial management. In implementing the system to be built using the Laravel framework tool. System testing is done by unit testing, integration, validation, and compatibility.

Abstract

Use case diagrams are a fundamental thing in software modeling. This is because of its function states the interaction that occurs between user and system visually and presents all functions that will be carried out by the system briefly, concisely and clearly. However, to get a good use case diagram, good results of writing requirements and qualified elicitation analysis are needed so that it takes up too much time. One way to facilitate this is by automating the creation of use case diagrams. The system automation in this study is a modeling recommendation. Use case diagrams can be generated with system scenarios as input because they represent existing elements. Then to translate the scenario into use case diagrams are using natural language processing stanfordNLP and the plantUML library for making automation diagrams. The research was conducted by analyzing requirements and obtaining 7 functional requirements. The system development model that will be developed uses the waterfall with Java as its programming language because it could be integrated with the stanfordNLP and plantUML libraries. The system will be developed on a desktop and can be run on a platform that supports JRE (Java Runtime Environment). The next stage is unit, integration and validation and accuracy testing, with the results of the unit test procedure being 100% valid from 3 samples, validation testing 100% valid from all test cases and results of accuracy testing on usage scenarios between 47% to 64%.

Abstract

Rental services for children's equipment and toys are starting to be in great demand by the community in Jombang Regency, according to observations in Jombang Regency itself, there are more than 10 UMKM that provide rental services for children's equipment and toys. The children's equipment and toys rental application (JoJo) is an application designed for the Jombang community to make it easier for the community to use equipment and children's toy rental services in Jombang Regency. This study aims to create an application design that is good in terms of user experience and usability for its users. The method chosen to design user experience in this research is Human-Centered Design (HCD) which focuses on the human perspective in each process consisting of context analysis and user needs, creating design solutions, and design evaluations. The design evaluation obtained using usability testing is 100% for the effectiveness aspect, 0.0592 goals/second for the efficiency aspect, and on the aspect of user satisfaction, the score is 91.75 with grade A. Then the results of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) are in the excellent category on the attractiveness, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty aspects and the good category on the perspicuity aspect. From the results of the design evaluation, it shows that the solution design has a good level of usability and also has a positive user experience for users because it gets a value that is more than the average in every aspect.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the trend of ornamental plants has become increasingly popular and favored by the public. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many MSMEs have difficulty running their businesses. Even during a pandemic like this, many people are interested in ornamental plants to be used as new hobbies or even for collection. An ornamental plant community that uses social media as a forum for interacting, sharing knowledge, and buying and selling ornamental plants. Therefore, research was conducted to design a user experience application for discussion forums and buying and selling of mobile-based ornamental plants that can help community members to discuss, and share knowledge about how to take care of ornamental plants properly, and become a forum for marketing ornamental plants. This research was conducted using the User-Centered Design method which focuses on the user, especially the user's needs. Testing is done by using the UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) to measure the value of the user experience on the user experience design that has been made. After doing the UEQ test, it was found that the value of attractiveness is 2.23, perspicuity is 2.11, efficiency is 2.28, dependability is 2.15, stimulation is 2.19 and novelty is 2.05. Based on the value obtained, it can be seen that all aspects have an excellent category.

Abstract

Bangbeli is a mobile application engaged in fintech. Bangbeli's main goal is to help UMKM traders who want to compete in credit transactions, game vouchers, service payments, etc. Bangbeli entered the Google market for the first time on January 26, 2020. Bangbeli has been downloaded more than 10,000 times and has more than 1000 reviews with a rating of 4.6. Bangbeli has quite interesting and good reviews. After conducting an interview with the Bangbeli developer, there was an urgency from the Bangbeli business team to create an account tier system to boost user interest in making transactions more often. In the Oxford dictionary it is described as a row or level in a structure, which is placed one above and shrinks in size. Therefore, the need for usability testing to measure the level of feasibility and explore the problems of the new feature. Meanwhile, usability testing is a process that involves people as test participants who evaluate the extent to which a product meets the usability criteria. This study author used usability testing and the USE Questionnaire. According to ISO international standards, usability includes three aspects, namely efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction. he Usefulness and Ease of Use parameters in the USE questionnaire have correlations in these three aspects. Two tests will be performed to get a good score, initial testing and final testing. To get analysis values and evaluating recommendations requires Initial testing. The final score will be obtained from the final test conducted after the evaluation process. The usability result before the improvement recommendation was 75.59% with a good value and the usability value after the display improvement recommendation was 75.36% with an excellent value.

Abstract

Mobile Apps “Teladan Apps” is an application that has been developed to give employee access more easily and comfortably for work activity to employees in Teladan Prima Group companies engaged in plantations and Palm Oil factories in this pandemic situation without leaving the house. As a new product, the development team from the application Teladan App hasn't evaluated the User Experience. This research uses the Usability Testing method to identify usability problems. This method can help to find the chance and understand the activity and preferences in using a product (Moran, 2019). The evaluation process and upgrading application “Teladan Apps” will use User-Centered Design (UCD) which is an approach way in the making designs that puts the user at the center of the design. The result of this evaluation and examination using the Usability Testing method in the prototype of Teladan Application, the application obtained a value of 91%. The result accomplished from the dissemination UEQ questionnaire in the second step examination represent 6 aspects which is the attractiveness with an average of 2.29, the perspicuity with an average of 2.21, the efficiency with an average of 2.19, the dependability with an average of 1.99, the stimulation with an average of 2.14, and the novelty with an average of 1.90. From the evaluation result for all aspects have a positive grade.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play a very important role in terms of Indonesia's economic development. However, along with the rapid advancement of technology nowadays, there are still many UMKM players who have not yet utilized these technological advances. To develop the ability to record sales transactions, CV Cokelat Turqy (Ziyadatur Rizqy) has an urgency to need a good sales invoice generation application user interface design. Therefore, in this thesis project, a sales invoicing application user interface design is built that can help fulfill this urgency. The user interface prototype was designed using the Prototyping Model also using the System Usability Scale (SUS) as a parameter to measure the level of user satisfaction and the online test tool to measure the responsiveness of the prototype. Before testing, the task scenario is determined first as a guide for respondents in conducting the test. The results of testing the satisfaction level factor show that the resulting prototype has fallen into the category of good products. The results of testing the responsiveness level factor of the prototype on three different tablet device screen resolutions show that the resulting prototype is included in the responsive prototype.
