Abstract

CV Mita is a party equipment rental company. The entire customer service process from ordering, payment, to storage of rental data archives is done manually. This causes problems such as difficulty in accessing information by customers, the risk of data loss and errors in recording, and inefficient transaction checking. Based on the description of the problem, a solution was found by building a party equipment rental information system using the Midtrans Payment Gateway. The development of this information system is based on the Waterfall Model SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Method. This information system is used by 4 actors with 23 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. All of these requirements are designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Physical Data Model (PDM), and User Interface by creating wireframes. UML in this study includes activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. Then the design results are implemented using the programming language PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Laravel Framework, and MySQL database. The testing process in this study consisted of Blackbox testing, Compatibility testing, and User Acceptance Test (UAT). Blackbox testing has 17 test scenarios that get 100% accepted results. Compatibility testing using Sortsite software with the result that the system can be run on a variety of browsers without any problem of system functional loss. Then User Acceptance Testing (UAT) produces a percentage of 83.5% on the admin page and 82.4% on the customer page. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed system can be accepted by users with the criteria of Strongly Agree.

Abstract

Paperless system allows informations used to be viewed without unnecessary repetition of processes such as minor errors by users, staffs, or operators. State Institute for Islamic Studies Padangsidimpuan (IAIN) experienced problems precisely in the thesis defense registration process where minor errors occurred in the file checking process such as the lack of files and also the correctness of the files. To help the process of thesis defense registration, it is proposed to develop an information system for the process of thesis defense using a paperless system to reduce these errors from both staffs and students side. When developing the system, researcher uses the waterfall method, whis is a systematic and sequential development method starting from the requirement analysis stage, followed by design and implementation, then testing, and the last stage maintenance. Entering the testing stage, researcher is carried out by applying two different testing methods, which are black-box testing that is used to test the validity of the existing functions in the system and user acceptance testing that is used to test how mcuh user acceptance of the developed system. From the results of black-box testing using 5 testers, valid results were obtained. The same 5 people were also appointed to conduct testing using user acceptance testing, the testers answered 40 questions of 20 Functional Correctness and Completeness questions. 10 Usability questions, and 10 Confidentiality and Availability questions. Results from the answers of the testers were analyzed using Guttman Scale by looking at the percentage of “Yes” answers and obtained 100% results for each question given.

Abstract

The Klagenserut Public Health Center is one of the main health centers in the Jiwan District. As the main health center, the Klagenserut Community Health Center is a place for supplying drugs and distributing drugs to the villages in which they work. There is a pharmacist division in charge of managing and distributing drugs. However, in doing so, pharmacists still use the manual method, namely recording inventory data and drug distribution manually. This method causes difficulties in checking drug data and drug stocks. Based on the description of the problem, there is a solution, namely making a web-based drug supply information system. The features contained in the system can perform data storage, drug stock information, print drug stock reports on a monthly basis and search drug data. The drug inventory information system was developed through the stages of the Waterfall method. The development process is carried out based on 4 stages. Starting from the stage of system requirements analysis, system design, system implementation and the last stage is system testing. In the last stage, testing was carried out with 2 methods, the first was black-box testing and the second was user acceptance testing. Based on the results of the system test using these 2 methods, the information system created has been in accordance with user needs.

Abstract

PT Andal Rancang Multi Solusi (ARM Solusi) is a technology company that is working on improving its service products, namely Coofis NDE (Collaboration Office Nota Dinas Elektronik). Coofis NDE has features to compose and send letters, receive incoming letters, and dispositions. Some things are less efficient when making letters have to save before seeing the results. It can cause repetition in fixing the letter if the results are not correct. The system also does not have feature electronic signatures, so it is incomplete in accelerating the process of validating result letters. From these problems, this research will try to overcome them. This research uses the waterfall model method. The design phase produces sequence diagrams, class diagrams, physical data models, and low-fidelity interface designs. The implementation phase uses the Angular framework for the front-end and Django for the back-end. For the testing phase, do compatibility testing from the browser side, validation testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Compatibility testing concluded that the system is still not completely secure in some browsers because of a CSS support problem. The results of the validation test get a value of 100% valid from 28 test cases. In the UAT test, the average result is 92% acceptance index from 5 samples of system users, which means that the system development is very well received.

Abstract

The Online Student Information System (SIMON) is an academic information system owned by Warmadewa University which is used to support the academic administration process of its students. Based on the results of discussions with one of the developers of the Warmadewa University information system, it was found that the SIMON itself has never been evaluated in terms of user experience. The information obtained through unstructured interviews that the author has conducted with seven students of Warmadewa University, also shows that the interface of the SIMON website interface is rather inconsistent, seems outdated and unattractive. This is certainly not desirable because it can have an impact on the experience and productivity of students as users and of course, not in accordance with the vision and mission of Warmadewa University. Therefore, an evaluation was carried out to determine the level of user experience and problems contained in SIMON Warmadewa with the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and also Usability Testing to find out the level of user experience, usability and existing problems. From the findings of the problems that have been evaluated, improvements were made through the design of an interface design that has a better user experience using a Human Centered Design (HCD). The results of the design were then evaluated using UEQ, where it was found that the usability and user experience values showed positive and better values compared to the current SIMON Warmadewa interface display.

Abstract

Piknik Nusantara is a company engaged in organizing Event Organizers. Piknik Nusantara wants a website-based platform to assist in managing travel stock data collection for traveling packages that can help purchase and manage travel data flexibly and efficiently. Based on these problems, the researcher provides a solution by designing the user experience of the Piknik Nusantara website- based system that creates the final result in the form of a high-fidelity prototype. The system design will make it easier for consumers to order vacation travel transactions, this design process uses design thinking, which has five stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Tests in this study will assess the aspects of learnability, efficiency, and satisfaction by using usability testing with task scenarios and system usability scale (SUS). Based on the test results for the general user system, it is obtained a value of "82.5" which is included in the characteristics of the "high acceptability" level, the grade scale is the same as "B", and the adjective rating is classified as "almost good". For the system administrator, the score "85" is included in the characteristics of the "high acceptability" level, the grade scale is the same as "B", and the adjective rating is classified as "excellent".

Abstract

Essential Clean is a business in the field of shoe washing and repair services that was established in 2020. So far, the business management process has been carried out online with social media platforms and offline for the Malang market. Since the entry into force of the lockdown until the PPKM, this business has been greatly affected, so the service process offered must be done online. Some of the problems faced by Essential Clean include the frequent occurrence of human errors due to personal and business chats that are not separate, the waiting time for admins to respond to orders ranges from 30 minutes - 2 hours in busy conditions and the limited number of admins and those who manage orders consist of one admin. Based on the problems that arise, the user interface for the Essential Clean website will then be developed based on the existing problems. With the construction of a website user interface, it is hoped that the order processing process will be more effective, efficient and easy to use. The process of developing this user interface uses the Human-Centered Design method, which involves the user at every stage and can produce a design solution that is specifically built to meet the needs of the related user. The stages of Human-Centered Design are understanding and determining the context of use, determining user requirements, producing a solution design and evaluating the solution design. The evaluation was carried out using a usability testing approach to eight participants. From testing on the aspect of effectiveness, the success rate is 93.06%. The efficiency aspect is carried out by calculating time-based efficiency which produces a value of 0.117 goals/sec. in the aspect of satisfaction measured using the usability scale sistem, it obtained an average value of 89.1, then the value obtained was converted into the SUS score category with adjective ratings excellent and the grade scale got a B value, which means the solution design results are acceptable. From the results of the evaluation, one suggestion was also obtained by the user which was then made improvements to the design of the solution.

Abstract

PT. ABC is a pharmaceutical company engaged in gastroenterology, urology and oncology. This company relies on the sales force to increase product sales through visits or call visits to various hospitals in Indonesia. To improve sales force performance, sales managers want to increase SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness). SFE is a framework that aims to increase the level of effectiveness of the sales force by monitoring and directing sales force sales activities, one of which is with the help of an information system. Therefore, an information system is needed to make it easier for managers to monitor sales force activities in conducting call visits. The purpose of this study is to document the results of the analysis and design and evaluate the results of the analysis and design. This study uses an OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) approach, which is, analyzing and designing a system based on the objects involved. The design is done by describing the Unified Modeling Language notation. The results of the analysis and design will be evaluated using the traceability matrix and cognitive walkthrough methods. The evaluation of the traceability matrix aims to define requirements and designs that are made to be traceable. From the results of the traceability matrix, it can be concluded that all requirements have been sequenced and can be traced. The cognitive walkthrough evaluation aims to determine the learnability of a product by running a product prototype. From the results of the cognitive walkthrough, it can be concluded that the interface has been accepted and is easy to learn.

Abstract

Dawuhan Village is located in the Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency, East Java. Dawuhan is a developing village with a population of 7115 people. However, in this case, administrative services and population data processing in Dawuhan village still use conventional methods, which still use book archives to process written data so that the processing of certificate documents and civil registration letters still encounters many problems. To solve this problem, an information system that handles letter requests is needed. This research was conducted to find out the Village Service Information System (SIMPEDE) is running effectively. Answering these problems, business process modeling, needs analysis, system design and implementation, and testing are carried out to find out the system is running as desired. Business process modeling generates AS-IS and To-Be business processes. Requirements analysis is done by identifying actor activities with the system, identifying functional and non-functional requirements, visualizing use case diagrams, use case scenarios, and sequence diagrams, then makes database design with MySql, as well as system interface design. System implementation produces a specification for hardware and software environment, the implementation of the source code, then produces a system interface according to what user expects.

Abstract

PT Tobisa Global Indonesia is a company engaged in agriculture where its activities are selling organic plants, namely Moringa. Currently PT Tobisa Global Indonesia wants to improve the quality of its services. However, existing business processes are still running manually, starting from the ordering process to payment. Based on the problems obtained, a solution is provided, namely the development of a web-based Moringa sales information system that is integrated with Midtrans as a payment gateway and RajaOngkir as a shipping gateway to simplify the process of purchasing, payment to delivery. The method implemented in this development uses a waterfall with an MVC architecture and uses the MySql database and the Laravel framework. The tests used on this system are validation, compatibility, and UAT (user acceptance testing). Black box testing is a method used for validation testing to test functional requirements to get a 100% success rate. As for compatibility testing using the SortSite application with compatible results showing that this system can run well on various web browsers. The user acceptance testing used aims to test whether the user's needs have been fulfilled to get a test percentage result of 80%. These results fall into the feasible category which indicates that the Moringa sales information system is in accordance with user needs so that it can provide user satisfaction.
