Abstract

SD Al-Manar Surabaya needs a good user interface design and easy to use by everyone especially the school. The designed interface will be used as guidelines for implementing the academic information system website at SD Al-Manar Surabaya. This study aims to produce a user interface design for an academic information system website at SD Al-Manar Surabaya using the Goal Directed Design (GDD) method. From this research, a prototype user interface for an academic information system website was produced at SD Al-Manar Surabaya. After that, a final evaluation was carried out on the prototype which was made using usability testing on 5 respondents from each user and filling out the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire for 20 respondents. Usability testing is based on three aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. Usability testing gets suggestions or feedback from respondents regarding the prototype made. The final results of this study produced a website user interface prototype for SD Al-Manar Surabaya academic information system which has an effectiveness value of 93.32% for admin, 90% for teachers, and 88.56% for student guardians. Time-based efficiency values ​​were 0.0893 goals/second for admins, 0.08348 goals/second for teachers, and 0.09343 goals/second for student parents. To measure user satisfaction using the SUS questionnaire with an overall result of 82.125 which is worth B in the excellent category.

Abstract

PT. AA Bersaudara is a construction company based in Palembamg, South Sumatera that provides construction services to build various facilities that needed by government or private institutions and organizations. In running its business, the company is required to manage its resources in order to achive its goal to keep the project on schedule. To address this need, the company requires a system that can accurately track and record project activities in real-time. This can help project stakeholders make the right decisions quickly. Based on this problem, a construction management information system was developed that can be used by project stakeholders, such as project managers and field managers, to manage project planning and activity data. In addition, project owners and company management can see the progress report of a project being carried out. The throw-away prototyping method was utilized in the development for this research because the users are not familiar with the use of information systems. Thus, the initial prototype developed can quickly give users an idea of how the system will be developed further. Therefore, the design made is suitable for the needs of the users based on input on the prototype made. Subsequently, the design that has been made is implemented into a complete information system and tested using testing techniques to validate that the system meets the needs of the users.

Abstract

Omah Kweni Homestay is a homestay accommodation located in the Bantul area of Yogyakarta city, which is a tourist city and can be a business opportunity in the hospitality industry. The homestay faces operational problems that are still conventionally managed, such as using a notebook that results in unreliable data storage, and the creation of reservation and warehouse reports takes a long time. To address these problems, a proposed solution is to develop a management information system that can assist in homestay management. The system development targets receptionists, roomboys, marketers, and managers. The Waterfall development method is used in this study because it is suitable for the homestay's parallel business processes where homestay requirements do not change. The use of the Waterfall development method is carried out in 4 stages. The needs analysis phase produces 6 business process models, 11 system features, 36 functional requirements and 1 non-functional system requirements, and 9 use cases and use case scenarios. The system design stage produces 9 Sequence Diagrams, 8 Class Diagrams consisting of class controllers and class models, 1 Physical Data Model, and 7 Wireframes. The system implementation stage results in the implementation of the design in the previous stage. The system testing phase using the black-box testing method produced 15 test cases and compatibility testing using the SortSite 6 Trial application with the results of 8 minor issues, User Acceptance Testing produced a percentage index of 90% for receptionists, 91.42% for marketing, 92.5% for Roomboy, and 97.14% for manager. The results of the user acceptance test show that all users agree with the development of the information system being developed.

Abstract

Reservasi yaitu proses pemesanan pada waktu yang diinginkan oleh pelanggan sebagaimana yang diterapkan oleh klinik Rumah Sayang Bunda. Sistem reservasi menjadi pilihan untuk melakukan proses bisnis yang berlaku saat ini tetapi penerapan reservasi di klinik Rumah Sayang Bunda masih menggunakan pencatatan manual yang mengakibatkan satu kendala yaitu kesalahan pada proses pencatatan reservasi. Guna mengurangi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan bisnis proses baru dengan menggunakan aplikasi website agar dapat meminimalisir kesalahan dalam sistem reservasi. Pengembangan aplikasi website untuk reservasi memanfaatkan Google calendar API sebagai integrasi sistem yang akan membantu memberikan pengingat kepada pasien bahwa terdapat reservasi pada hari tersebut. Terdapat dua tampilan dalam website, tampilan pertama menampilkan user page untuk pelanggan melakukan reservasi dan tampilan kedua menampilkan admin page untuk melihat dan mengelola data reservasi. Tahap selanjutnya adalah melakukan pengumpulan data yang melalui 2 proses yaitu pengumpulan data pada sistem reservasi manual dan sistem reservasi berbasis website. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap pengujian dan analisis data yaitu melakukan uji normalitas pada data jumlah eror sistem reservasi manual dan sistem reservasi berbasis website, selanjutnya melakukan uji beda pada data jumlah eror. Hasil dari uji normalitas data menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikansi (SIG) lebih kecil dari 0.05 yang artinya data tidak terdistribusi dengan normal maka uji beda yang dilakukan yakni uji beda statistik non parametrik. Uji beda statistik non parametrik yang dipakai merupakan teknik uji Mann-whitney. Hasil dari uji Mann-Whitney menyatakan bahwa nilai signifikansi (SIG) kurang dari 0.05 yang artinya adalah jumlah kesalahan pencatatan reservasi antara sistem manual tidak sama dengan sistem reservasi berbasis website. Setelah melakukan pengujian dan analisis dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa sistem reservasi berbasis website dapat mengurangi jumlah kesalahan pencatatan reservasi berdasarkan jumlah eror dan hasil uji Mann-Whitney.
