Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Karang Wedi in the subject of Pancasila Education, particularly on the topic of socio-cultural differences.Method – The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach was employed. The sample in this study was class fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, pre-tests and post-tests, as well as documentation. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. Findings – The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the PjBL model. The t-test shows a significance value of 0.0001 < 0.05. As indicated by a t-value of 3.967, which exceeds the t-table value of 2.010. In the pretest and posttest activities, there was a significant improvement. Research Implications – The practical implication of this research shows that the PjBL model is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of Pancasila Education and is recommended for broader application in the learning process.

Abstract

Indonesia is a heterogeneous population that speaks various languages and has a wide range of cultural, racial, religious, traditions, and indigenous knowledge. In our multicultural and globalized society, intercultural competence is becoming more critical. This study aimed to discover how to integrate indigenous knowledge into the social studies classroom to promote intercultural competence. The method used was descriptive qualitative analysis. The subjects of this study were students in two classes and a lecturer. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and a reflective journal. This research used data triangulation techniques to check the data validity. The result showed 1) integrating indigenous knowledge in the social studies classrooms through eight steps: collection and identifying, analyzing, implementing, evaluating students, reflecting the cultural value, evaluating the lesson process, expanding, and sharing, and 2) The intercultural competence students were also identified in the significant increase on four dimensions: knowledge, attitude, skills, and behavior.

Abstract

In the industrial sector, water pollution due to dye waste needs special attention because it can harm humans and the environment. A waste-absorbing material with good photocatalytic properties is required to overcome this problem. The photocatalytic properties are owned by metal oxide materials, one of which is Magnesium Oxide (MgO) material. This study aims to analyze the activity level of MgO photocatalytic from Bangkalan dolomite. MgO synthesis was carried out by the leaching method, where UV-Vis characterized the results to determine the photocatalytic ability of MgO against methylene blue (MB). In this characterization, various treatments (sunlight, UV light, and darkroom conditions) were carried out with radiation times of 180, 240, and 300 minutes. The results of the UV-Vis spectrum analysis showed that MgO had a band gap of 4.01 eV. The degradation efficiency of photocatalytic obtained optimal under sunlight, UV light, and in a dark room with a radiation time of 300 minutes at 82%, 42%, and 34%. Thus, the synthesis of MgO in sunlight showed good photocatalytic activity in reducing MB dye to use for processing waste from the dye industry.

Abstract

Abstract: Garbage is a problem that needs attention, there are people who do not understand the problem of waste and waste management. This problem is also found in the community of RW 05 Marunda Village. In waste management, most people rely on (PPSU) and paid waste officers. The existence of the Forward Always Garbage Bank is a solution in changing the community's lifestyle. This study aims to determine the strategy and results of community empowerment carried out by the Maju Selalu Waste Bank. In this study the methodology used was a qualitative approach with a descriptive. Data collection techniques were obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation, the data sources of which were primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The empowerment strategy carried out by the Maju Selalu waste bank consists of forming groups, mentoring which is seen from the function of the Maju Selalu waste bank as a facilitator, communicator, and dynamicator. The results of the empowerment carried out can help the community meet their daily needs and increase community capacity in waste management. The results of empowerment can refer to the ability of people so that they have the ability to meet basic needs, increase income and participate in the empowerment process.Keywords: Empowerment Strategy; Garbage; Garbage Bank.Abstrak: Sampah merupakan masalah yang perlu diperhatikan, terdapat manusia kurang mengerti mengenai permasalahan sampah dan pengelolaan sampah. Permasalahan tersebut juga terdapat pada masyarakat RW 05 Kelurahan Marunda. Dalam pengelolaan sampah kebanyakan masyarakat mengandalkan (PPSU) dan petugas sampah berbayar. Adanya Bank Sampah Maju Selalu sebagai solusi dalam mengubah pola hidup masyarakat tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi dan hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Bank Sampah Maju Selalu. Pada penelitian ini metodologi yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang sumber datanya berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Strategi pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Bank sampah Maju Selalu terdiri dari pembentukan kelompok, pendampingan yang dilihat dari fungsi Bank Sampah Maju Selalu sebagai fasilitator, komunikator, dinamisator. Serta strategi dalam perencanaan kegiatan. Hasil dari pemberdayaan yang dilakukan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah. Adapun hasil dari pemberdayaan dapat merujuk pada kemampuan orang sehingga mereka memiliki kemampuan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, meningkatkan pendapatan dan berpartisipasi dalam proses pemberdayaan.Kata Kunci: Strategi Pemberdayaan; Sampah; Bank Sampah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tanah longsor menjadi salah satu bencana alam yang sering melanda wilayah pegunungan. Kecamatan Wanayasa menghadapi risiko bencana tanah longsor yang tinggi selama musim hujan. Kehilangan nyawa dan kerigian ekonomi akibat terjadinya tanah longsor menjadi ancaman langsung bagi kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat ketahanan masyarakat pada desa rawan longsor di Kecamatan Wanayasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif yang didukung dengan analisis skoring. Tingkat ketahanan masyarakat terhadap tanah longsor diukur menggunakan variabel sosial, ekonomi, fisik dan kapasitas masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Dawuhan memiliki tingkat ketahanan masyarakat yang tinggi (2,34), sedangkan Desa Bantar (2,18) dan Desa Susukan (1,94) memiliki tingkat ketahanan masyarakat sedang. Kapasitas masyarakat menjadi variabel dengan skor tertinggi, sedangkan variabel ekonomi memiliki skor terendah. Upaya peningkatan ketahanan masyarakat dapat diawali dengan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Ekonomi yang kuat memungkinkan masyarakat untuk berkembang dan meningkatkan ketahanannya pada aspek-aspek lain.

Abstract

Permasalahan kemiskinan masih menjadi isu strategis di Kabupaten Tegal. Salah satu desa yang masih mengalami kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tegal adalah di Desa Tanjungharja. Meningkatnya kebutuhan sosial dan ekonomi membuat perempuan tidak hanya berperan sebagai ibu rumah tangga, namun juga berperan dalam membantu perekonomian keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran dan hasil pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga melalui program budidaya jamur tiram yang dilaksanakan oleh Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Wijaya Kusuma. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peran yang dijalankan oleh pengurus KWT Wijaya Kusuma sudah cukup baik dalam menjalankan perannya yaitu peran fasilitatif, peran edukatif, peran perwakilan dan peran teknis. Peran tersebut memberikan hasil pemberdayaan yaitu dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dalam keluarga meskipun pendapatan yang diperoleh tidak menentu, namun kegiatan di Kelompok Wanita Tani Wijaya Kusuma dapat menjadi wadah bagi ibu rumah tangga untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan.

Abstract

Kota sebagai pusat kegiatan mendorong masyarakat untuk memiliki tingkat konsumsi pangan yang tinggi dan menciptakan pemukiman yang padat, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan. KWT Selendang Ratu didirikan dengan menjalankan program utamanya yaitu urban farming. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi penguatan kelembagaan yang dilakukan dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat pada KWT Selendang Ratu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan kondisi lapangan atau objek penelitian melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah KWT Selendang Ratu. Dengan demikian maka informan yang peneliti pilih berasal dari subjek penelitia. Informan pada penelitian ini adalah pengurus, anggota, penyuluh KWT Selendang Ratu dan pihak kelurahan. Analisis dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kita dapat mengetahui strategi penguatan kelembagaan yang dilakukan KWT Selendang Ratu, yaitu: 1) penguatan kelembagaan melalui aspek penguatan sumberdaya manusia, pembangunan fasilitas fisik kelembagaan dan pengamanan pendanaan. 2) Mengembangkan kader masyarakat melalui pembinaan dan pelatihan. 3) Sumber pendanaan diperoleh dari penjualan dan kerjasama institusi. Faktor pendorong yang dimiliki KWT Selendang Ratu adalah anggota yang sadar terhadap lingkungan, mempunyai hobi berkebun serta dukungan dari pemerintah dan masyarakat. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yang dimiliki KWT Selendang Ratu adalah kurang aktifnya anggota dan belum stabilnya semangat kerja anggota.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are one of the final achievements in learning that need to be considered. Good learning outcomes can of course be determined from many things. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class 2 students at SD Negeri 2 Prambanan through the discovery learning model. This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes, seen from the student learning outcomes that were still below the KKM as many as 62% of students. This is due to the teacher's lack of innovation in implementing learning models so that students find it difficult to understand the learning material. The type of research used is classroom action research using the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. This research model consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were all class 2A students at SD N 2 Prambanan consisting of 21 students with details of 10 male students and 11 female students. Data collection techniques use observation sheets, measuring learning test results, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with percentages. The results in this research show an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. The learning outcomes of students who have completed cycle 1 are 15 students with a percentage of 71%. In cycle 2 there were 20 students who had completed it with a percentage of 95%. These results reveal a significant increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics in fraction material through the application of the discovery learning model.

Abstract

The research objective of this research is to determine student learning outcomes after learning using the Problem Based Learning model. This research is motivated by problems in learning, especially science and science, namely the low learning outcomes of class V students. This problem is caused by the learning model used by educators being less innovative so that learning activities are less enjoyable, students only become listeners when the teacher explains the material. The benefits of this research can increase the insight and ability of educators in designing learning models and improving the quality of learning. This research is classroom action research using the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. This research model consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were class V students at SD N 2 Prambanan, consisting of 19 students. The data collection techniques for this research are observation using observation sheets, measuring learning outcomes, and c) documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis by reflecting the results of implementing the actions carried out in each cycle. The results in this research show an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. The learning outcomes of students who had completed the first cycle were 14 students with a percentage of 73.58%. In cycle II there were 16 students who had completed it with a percentage of 84.21%. These results reveal a significant increase in student learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model.

Abstract

PJBL is a project-based learning to improve students' creativity by linking it to their daily lives. The focus of learning is on making a project to instill environmental awareness in Elementary Schools by producing a product in the form of a poster of me and my surroundings. In this learning, students are divided into groups of four to five children in one group. The pictures on the poster are the students' daily activities. Learning that is done in groups aims to increase students' self-confidence in expressing their opinions and respecting the opinions of other students. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the PJBL-based learning model in increasing environmental awareness in Elementary Schools. This learning collaborated with grade V educators of Pancasila Education subjects to implement learning, and grade V students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews to analyze the needs of educators and students. The data analysis technique used data collection, feasibility testing, reliability testing, and product moment correlation validity testing. The product feasibility test uses material experts, language experts, and module presentation experts. The results of this study produce a product in the form of a module that contains LKPD with a PJBL learning model. The product feasibility test states that this module product is suitable for use or does not need revision. The test results obtained quite good scores with scores above the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP) set by educators. The results of the study and supported by previous research, that the PJBL learning model is effective in increasing environmental awareness in elementary schools.
