Abstract

Analysis of Production and Agroindustry of Ambonese Bananas with respect to the Increasing of Farming Income in South Sulawesi Province. This research aimed to ascertain the influence of each production factor on production level of fresh Ambonese bananas, and to know the feasibility of management handling of Ambonese bananas product through household agroindustry activities. The analysis method used were Cobb    Douglass Function and R/C ratio profit analysis. The result of the analysis revealed that the com position of using production inputon the Ambonese bananas farming in Maros and Gowa regency was in the increasing return to scale. Based on the result of statistical test, it could be indicate that the use of seeds was relatively efficien, whereas the use of other production factors were relatively unefficient.  The result of Ambonese bananas sale was relatively profitable as stated by R/C ratio value for 4, 08.

Abstract

Analysis of Production and Agroindustry of Ambonese Bananas with respectto the Increasing of Farming Income in Gowa Regency. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment, interpersonal communication, and motivation on employee satisfaction and performance at the South Sulawesi Government Hospital. The population in this study were all employees at the South Sulawesi Government Hospital, totaling 1,912 people. Determination of the previous sample using the techniqueStratified Random Sampling or also called stratified random sampling. Stratified Random Sampling of as many as 243 respondents. The analytical model used in this research is a quantitative and descriptive structural Equation Model (SEM) using the AMOS program. The results of this study are Organizational Commitment and Work Motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, while Interpersonal Communication has a negative but significant effect on job satisfaction. Organizational Commitment has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction and Interpersonal Communication has a negative but significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction. Has a significant effect on performance through the mediation of organizational commitment. Interpersonal communication has a negative but significant effect on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction and motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia terhadap Tingkat Inovasi UMKM di Kota Makassar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden melalui kuesioner terstruktur. Validitas dan reliabilitas Instrumen diuji menggunakan SPSS versi 23, memastikan akurasi dan konsistensi pengukuran. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia mempunyai dampak positif dan pengaruh signifikan terhadap Inovasi Bagi Pelaku UMKM. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa koefisien regresi Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia sebesar 0,562 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kegiatan Pengeloalaan Sumber Daya Manusia dapat meningkatkan Inovasi Bagi Pelaku UMKM. Bahwa Koefisien beta sebesar 0,521 menunjukkan kekuatan pengaruh sedang. Hasil tersebut menggarisbawahi pentingnya bagi pelaku usaha UMKM untuk mengoptimalkan potensi lokal dalam menciptakan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan preferensi konsumen sehingga tidak hanya mendorong kemajuan individu tetapi juga menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dan mendorong perputaran perekonomian di Makassar. Hal ini berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi kota secara keseluruhan.  Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baik secara teoritis maupun praktis dengan menekankan Peran Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia sebagai upaya peningkatan inovasi di era industri yang sangat kompetitif. This research aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Management on the Innovation Level of MSMEs in Makassar City. Using a quantitative research approach, data was collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Instrument validity and reliability were tested using SPSS version 23, ensuring measurement accuracy and consistency. The results of the regression analysis show that the Human Resource Management regression coefficient is 0.562 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows that increasing Human Resource Management activities can increase innovation for Micro, Small, Medium and Enterprises (MSMEs) actors. That the beta coefficient of 0.521 indicates a moderate strength of influence. These results underline the importance for Micro, Small, Medium and Enterprises (MSMEs) business actors to optimize local potential in creating products that suit consumer needs and preferences so that they not only encourage individual progress but also create new jobs and encourage economic turnaround in Makassar.  This research makes contributions both theoretically and practically by emphasizing the role of Human Resource Management as an effort to increase innovation in a highly competitive industrial era.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja keuangan PDAM Kabupaten Gowa selama periode 2017–2021 dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis rasio keuangan dan evaluasi Break Even Point. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menggambarkan perubahan kinerja keuangan dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PDAM Kabupaten Gowa mengalami peningkatan pendapatan yang stabil, pengelolaan biaya yang efektif, serta pemeliharaan margin kontribusi yang optimal. Selain itu, perusahaan mampu menjaga posisi Break Even Point yang menguntungkan, memberikan ruang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa manajemen biaya yang efisien dan penggunaan teknologi informasi yang baik menjadi faktor penting dalam pencapaian keberhasilan ini. Dengan demikian, PDAM Kabupaten Gowa dapat menjadi model dalam pengelolaan keuangan yang berkelanjutan bagi perusahaan daerah lainnya. Saran yang diberikan adalah perlunya penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan dan penerapan teknologi yang lebih inovatif untuk mendukung kelangsungan jangka panjang. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PDAM Gowa Regency during the period of 2017–2021 using financial ratio analysis and Break Even Point evaluation. The research method employed is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach to depict changes in financial performance and the factors influencing those changes. The findings indicate that PDAM Gowa Regency experienced stable revenue growth, effective cost management, and the maintenance of an optimal contribution margin. Additionally, the company managed to sustain a favorable Break Even Point, allowing room for further development. This study also reveals that efficient cost management and the proper utilization of information technology are critical factors in this success. Therefore, PDAM Gowa Regency can serve as a model for sustainable financial management in regional public companies. The recommendations include strengthening institutional capacity and the application of more innovative technologies to support long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Permasalahan pengangguran merupakan tantangan serius dalam pembangunan daerah, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan seperti Kota Makassar yang mengalami dinamika sosial ekonomi yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara empiris hubungan antara jumlah penduduk, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan inflasi terhadap pengangguran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Makassar selama lima tahun terakhir, yakni 2017 hingga 2021. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda yang menguji asumsi klasik serta uji signifikansi simultan dan parsial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penduduk dan inflasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengangguran, sedangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Analisis lebih lanjut menyimpulkan bahwa pengangguran di Kota Makassar tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh satu faktor tunggal, melainkan oleh kombinasi variabel ekonomi dan demografis. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya formulasi kebijakan daerah yang memperhatikan dinamika kependudukan serta perlunya intervensi terhadap faktor-faktor struktural penyebab pengangguran. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan awal dalam penyusunan program strategis pengurangan pengangguran melalui pendekatan terintegrasi antar sektor. The problem of unemployment is a serious challenge in regional development, especially in urban areas such as Makassar City which experiences complex socio-economic dynamics. This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between population, economic growth, and inflation on unemployment. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive by utilizing secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Makassar City for the last five years, namely 2017 to 2021. The data analysis technique was carried out using multiple linear regression that tested classical assumptions and simultaneous and partial significance tests. The results of the analysis show that population and inflation have a positive and significant effect on unemployment, while economic growth does not show a significant effect. Further analysis concludes that unemployment in Makassar City is not only influenced by one single factor, but by a combination of economic and demographic variables. This finding emphasizes the importance of formulating regional policies that pay attention to population dynamics and the need for interventions on structural factors that cause unemployment. Thus, the results of this study can be the initial basis for compiling a strategic program to reduce unemployment through an integrated approach between sectors.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Upah Minimum Kota (UMK), tingkat Pendidikan, dan Belanja Bantuan Sosial terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat di Kota Palopo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 186 responden yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang diteliti memiliki rata-rata yang relatif tinggi, mencerminkan persepsi positif responden terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 70,7% menunjukkan bahwa model yang digunakan mampu menjelaskan proporsi besar variasi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan UMK, perbaikan kualitas pendidikan, serta optimalisasi belanja bantuan sosial merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakat. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini mendorong pengambil kebijakan untuk memperkuat sinergi ketiga faktor tersebut dalam perencanaan dan implementasi program pembangunan sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini juga memperkaya kajian empiris terkait determinan kesejahteraan masyarakat pada konteks wilayah perkotaan di Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of City Minimum Wage (UMK), Education Level, and Social Assistance Expenditure on Community Welfare in Palopo City. The research method employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 186 purposively selected respondents. The descriptive analysis results indicate that the studied variables have relatively high averages, reflecting respondents' positive perceptions of community welfare and its influencing factors. Regression analysis reveals that the three independent variables, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on community welfare. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 70.7% demonstrates that the model effectively explains a substantial proportion of the variation in community welfare. These findings suggest that increasing the minimum wage, improving the quality of education, and optimizing social assistance spending are effective strategies in promoting community welfare. The practical implication of this study encourages policymakers to strengthen the synergy of these three factors in planning and implementing socio-economic development programs. This study also contributes to the empirical literature on the determinants of community welfare in the context of urban areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Tingkat Upah, Produksi, Teknologi, dan Tingkat Pendidikan terhadap Permintaan Tenaga Kerja pada perusahaan industri pakan ternak di Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif untuk menelusuri hubungan kausal antar variabel. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 96 responden dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang mewakili tenaga kerja di delapan perusahaan industri pakan ternak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 24 untuk menguji hipotesis baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, keempat variabel independen, yaitu Tingkat Upah, Produksi, Teknologi, dan Tingkat Pendidikan, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Permintaan Tenaga Kerja. Secara simultan, keempat variabel juga menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel dependen. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi faktor ekonomi, teknologi, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia sangat menentukan dinamika permintaan tenaga kerja di sektor industri pakan ternak. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi pengambil keputusan di tingkat perusahaan maupun pemerintah daerah dalam merumuskan kebijakan ketenagakerjaan yang relevan, serta menjadi kontribusi empiris dalam pengembangan literatur ketenagakerjaan di sektor agribisnis. This study aims to analyze the effect of Wage Level, Production, Technology, and Education Level on Labor Demand in animal feed industry companies in Bone Regency, Indonesia. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design to examine the causal relationships between variables. A total of 96 respondents were selected using purposive sampling, representing the workforce in eight animal feed industry companies. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS version 24 to test the hypotheses both simultaneously and partially. The findings indicate that, partially, all four independent variables—Wage Level, Production, Technology, and Education Level—have a positive and significant influence on Labor Demand. Simultaneously, these four variables also demonstrate a significant impact on the dependent variable. These results highlight that a combination of economic factors, technology, and human resource quality substantially determines the dynamics of labor demand in the animal feed industry sector. The implications of this study can serve as a reference for decision-makers at the company and regional government levels in formulating relevant labor policies, as well as providing empirical contributions to the development of labor-related literature in the agribusiness sector.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. Objek penelitian adalah PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Analisis Deskriptif dan Analisis Linear Berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner dengan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 24. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik kualitas pelayanan perusahaan terhadap customer maka kinerja karyawan semakin meningkat. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of service quality on employee performance at PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. The research object is PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. The methods used are Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Linear Analysis. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results of this research show that the better the quality of the company's service to customers, the more employee performance will increase.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengelolaan biaya operasional dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas pada PT. Sejahtera Buana Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis rasio profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari perhitungan BOPO dan analisis rasio profitabilitas dapat disimpulkan bahwa biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional cenderung berfluktuasi selama periode 2017-2020. Pada tahun 2017, 2019 dan 2020 BOPO masih dikatakan efisien, namun pada tahun 2018 BOPO belum efisien sehingga menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan kurang efisien dalam menggunakan dan mengelola dananya. Begitu pula dengan perhitungan rasio profitabilitas dalam empat tahun terakhir selalu mengalami fluktuasi yang cenderung meningkat dan fluktuasi biaya operasional cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnya sehingga belum optimal dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan. Untuk mengoptimalkan laba, perusahaan harus mampu menekan biaya operasionalnya dan lebih efisien dalam menggunakan dan mengalokasikan biaya operasional yang cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnya. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the management of operational costs in increasing profitability at PT. Sejahtera Buana Raya. This study uses quantitative methods with the analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and profitability ratio analysis. The results of the study show that from BOPO calculations and profitability ratio analysis, it can be concluded that operating costs to operating income tended to fluctuate during the 2017-2020 period. In 2017, 2019 and 2020 BOPO is still said to be efficient, but in 2018 BOPO is not efficient, so that shows that the company is less efficient in using and managing its funds. Likewise, the calculation of profitability ratios in the last four years has always experienced fluctuations that tend to increase and fluctuations in operational costs tend to increase every year so it is not optimal to increase company profitability. To optimize profits, companies must be able to reduce their operational costs and be more efficient in using and allocating operational costs, which tend to increase every year.
