Abstract

As a services producer, RSUD Wates need to maintain customer satisfaction. Satisfaction can be measured through the complaint presences and the handling complaints process. Managing consumer complaints is important to improve the hospital service while creating long term profitable relationships for RSUD Wates. This is a quantitative research with cross-sectional analytic approaches. Population was all RSUD Wates costumers. Study sample was 68 RSUD Wates costumers who had complaint experiences. Analysis testing using Linear Regression. Simultaneous test shows the three dimensions of justice are significantly influences the complaint handling satisfaction. While in the individual tests found only procedural justice and distributive justice have a positive and significant impact on handling complaints satisfaction in RSUD Wates, whereas interactional justice has not been proven significant effect on complaint handling satisfaction in RSUD Wates Keywords: Procedural Justice, Interactional Justice, Distributive Justice, Complaint Handling, Hospital.

Abstract

The rice program for poor families or commonly known as Raskin is one of the government's efforts to reduce the burden of expenditure on poor families. The Raskin program is to reduce poverty and maintain the food of economically disadvantaged people so that all parties are expected to participate in the success of this program so that it can be implemented properly and is beneficial to the community. In general, the problems that occur in the assistance of Poor Rice assistance are still not optimal, because at the time of selection of poor rice recipients there is no system that supports so that during the selection process still using estimates only and there is no calculation at the time of selection of poor rice recipients. So that few or many people sometimes protest because people are supposed to get help but they don't get the assistance, and vice versa. The purpose of this study is to help the committee to receive poor rice assistance in selecting people who are entitled to receive assistance, especially in the district of Banawa. The research method used is the software development method using the prototype method and decision-making method using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Based on the results of testing conducted with the black box technique, the results show that the decision support system for receiving poor rice assistance can help the sub-district, especially the committee in selecting poor rice aid recipients, by comparing the criteria for each alternative and showing the value the highest of alternatives means that the alternative is the main choice for receiving poor rice assistance.

Abstract

Brazilian Arowana fish is one of the ornamental fish with high economic value that has the potential to be developed in Kubu Raya district. This fish is relatively easy to care for, but there are still many people who are not brave enough to maintain it due to a lack of knowledge. For this reason, it is necessary to adopt technology through PPM activities by utilizing collaboration with SMKs as well as upgrading the competencies that students currently have. With this activity can be an alternative to improve the community's economy. The purpose of this PPM activity is to improve the competence and abilities of students in applying environmentally friendly, efficient and effective Brazilian Arwana ornamental fish farming business technology in a sustainable manner and it is hoped that it can become an example for the surrounding ornamental fish cultivating community. The maintenance process for Brazilian Arowana during PPM activities went well. The time required for one maintenance cycle is 2 months. The containers used consist of 2 types, namely a tarpaulin tub as a container and an aquarium as a container for further maintenance. As many as 420 seeds were sown and given feed in the form of frozen worms and small shrimp. The SR level is 100% so that the harvest can be sold entirely with a profit of Rp. 5,130,000.- and the R/C ratio is 1.54. This PPM activity is expected to spur the community in developing Brazilian Arowana fish farming by applying appropriate technology that is applicable to increase the productivity of aquaculture products in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner which will ultimately increase the economic level of the community.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan ampas jahe dari limbah pembuatan gula jahe dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi produk Krenova, salah satunya adalah kue eggroll. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Posyandu Anggrek Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Gondangrejo Kabupaten Karanganyar. Di Posyandu Anggrek wonorejo ada beberapa Kader dan masyarakat yang kurang produktif secara ekonomi sehingga kegiatan ini diharapkan untuk membantu meningkatkan perekonomian mereka. Dengan memanfaatkan limbah ampas jahe dari pembuatan Gula Jahe yang salah satu bahan dasarnya yang berupa jahe, menyebabkan produksi gula jahe ini menghasilkan limbah yang berupa ampas jahe. Ampas jahe merupakan limbah industri jamu maupun minuman kesehatan ataupun jahe instan. Tujuan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah pemberdayaan kader dan Masyarakat melalui kegiatan pembuatan kue eggroll dari pemanfaatn ampas gula jahe, kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yaitu 16-17 Agustus 2024 yang diikuti oleh 15 orang yang terdiri dari 8 kader posyandu anggrek dan 7 masyarakat desa Wonorejo. Metode yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi pembuatan eggroll. Hasil dari demonstrasi pembuatan eggroll didapatkan hasil kegiatan bahwa kader Posyandu Anggrek dan Masyarakat mengetahui cara pembuatan eggroll.

Abstract

Background: Hyperlipidemia is closely associated with dietary intake and physical activity. Excessive dietary fat intake, inadequate dietary fiber, and low physical activity will increase the risk of obesity and lipid profile disorder among type 2 diabetics. Objectives: This study aimed to identify the association between fat intake, dietary fiber intake, and physical activity with triglyceride levels among type 2 diabetics. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted using Sequential Random Sampling on 31 patients with type 2 diabetes with dyslipidemia from Grogol Community Health Center, Sukoharjo, in March 2023. The 3x24-hour food recall nonconsecutive days was used to collect data on fat and fiber intake, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) was employed to obtain physical activity data, and the patient's medical record for the last month was utilized to obtain fasting blood sugar and triglyceride levels. The statistical test was carried out using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results: Around 54.8% of subjects had excessive fat intake (60.90 g/day); 96.8% of subjects had severe deficit fiber intake (9.74 g/day); 51.6% of subjects had low physical activity (894.74 METs/minute/week). A statistically significant association exists between fat intake and level of triglyceride (p=0.005; r=0.493), but there was no significant association between dietary fiber intake and triglyceride levels (p=0.897; r=0.024), and there was no significant association between physical activity and level of triglyceride (p=0.394; r=-0.159). Conclusions: There is a significant association between fat intake and the level of triglyceride. As such, it is necessary to decrease intakes of saturated fat and trans fatty acids; replacing them with unsaturated fatty acids could be beneficial in lowering triglyceride levels.

Abstract

Background: Type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic syndrome characterized by hyperglycemia due to oxidative stress. Efforts to reduce oxidative stress may include consuming snacks with high antioxidant activity and flavonoids made from purple sweet potato flour and kidney bean flour.Objectives: To determine the effects of the purple sweet potato flour and kidney bean flour ratio on the organoleptic properties (hedonic and hedonic quality tests), antioxidant activity, flavonoid content, and estimated selling price per serving of pie as an alternative snack for patients with type-2 DM.Method: Used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with three formulations of purple sweet potato flour and kidney bean flour: F1 (60%:40%), F2 (70%:30%), and F3 (80%:20%). Statistical analysis of antioxidant activity and flavonoids was performed using ANOVA and Duncan’s test. Meanwhile, organoleptic properties were examined using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests.Results: There was significant effect of the purple sweet potato flour and kidney bean flour ratio on antioxidant activity, flavonoid content, and hedonic tests (color and aroma) (p0.05). However, no significant effect was found on hedonic taste, texture, mouthfeel, aftertaste, overall preference, and all hedonic quality (p0.05). The antioxidant activity of the pie formulations F1, F2, and F3 was weak, namely 6.539 mg/ml, 8.158 mg/ml, and 7.679 mg/ml, respectively. The flavonoid content was also low, accounting for 0.74%, 0.52%, and 0.80%, respectively. The selected formulation was F3 with hedonic quality of brown color, slightly weak sweet taste, weak bitter taste, distinctive flour taste, and medium aroma, texture, mouthfeel, and aftertaste. The estimated selling price per serving (85g) of F3 was IDR 3,768.26Conclusion: The selected formulation (F3) of  pie can used as alternative snack for patients with type-2 DM.

Abstract

Toddlers are one of the groups prone to experiencing nutritional problems such as macronutrient deficiencies, excess macronutrients and micronutrient deficiencies. Differences in the area of residence, socioeconomic and lifestyle of the population can create a risk of malnutrition in children. The causes of nutritional status problems are divided into basic causes, indirect causes and direct causes. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the nutritional status of toddlers in the city of Surakarta. This research is an observational study with a cross sectional design. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling with 128 toddlers aged 12-59 months. Data on subject characteristics and mother's level of knowledge used a questionnaire. Data on nutritional status of toddlers was obtained from anthropometric measurements with H/A and W/H indicators. Food intake data was obtained using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ FFQ) method. The results of this study were abnormal nutritional status according to H/A (short and very short) of 14.9%, abnormal nutritional status according to W/H (under and over nutrition) of 29.7%. Birth weight, protein intake and maternal age influence the nutritional status of toddlers according to H/A. Birth weight, energ<y and protein intake influence the nutritional status of toddlers according to W/H (p<0,05). Acute nutritional problems for toddlers in urban areas are influenced by birth weight, energy and protein intake. Abstract

Balanced nutrition is a daily food composition that contains nutrients in types and quantities that suit body's needs, taking into account the principles of food diversity or variety, physical activity, cleanliness and ideal body weight (BB). Aim of this counseling was to increase knowledge and understanding of balanced nutrition among students at Sahid Vocational School, Surakarta. Methods used were lectures and discussions. Media used in this counseling were leaflets and flashcards. Participants in this community service activity were students of SMK Sahid Surakarta class XI TBO 2. Implementation of this counseling received a good response from students with an attendance percentage of 86,7%. Results of community service activity effectiveness could be seen from N-gain value = 0,56 in medium category. Keywords: counseling, balanced nutrition, student, leaflet, flashcard

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus memberikan bimbingan dan instruksi kepada organisasi pemuda setempat untuk meningkatkan literasi digital mereka khusunya pemuda di desa Boneoge melalui kegiatan PKM. Ini dilakukan karena kurangnya kemampuan mereka. Selain itu, HOAX sangat populer di kalangan remaja, mempermudah untuk mempercayai informasi palsu yang dapat meresahkan masyarakat. PKM ini bertujuan untuk mencapai berbagai tujuan, termasuk, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital melalui pelatihan desain grafis dan instalasi sistem operasi, dosen dan mahasiswa diberi kesempatan dan pengalaman kerja, dan kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak terkait, terutama masyarakat desa khususnya para pemuda. Untuk memperkenalkan STMIK Bina Mulia Palu kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan dan ceramah singkat merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini. Diskusi dan ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi dimana kedua metode dilakukan secara bersamaan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil dari latihan PKM ini positif dan memuaskan. Ada beberapa hal yang tercapai secara efektif pada saat kegiatan ini dilaksanakan, antara lain: 1) tercapainya tujuan kegiatan yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman tentang literasi digital; dan 2) mencapai target material yang telah ditentukan.
