Abstract

One of the uses of nutmeg skin is to process it into sweets. This community service was carried out in Cijeruk Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. The implementation of this community service activity aims to determine the extent to which the community develops nutmeg so that it can become a source of community economy. The people in Cijeruk Village only use the seeds and mace so that the nutmeg skin itself is not used as an economic source. With the condition of the people who have limited knowledge, we took the initiative to make sweets made from nutmeg skin as the use and material for the community's economy in the future. The implementation of this community service activity began by looking for samples of nutmeg skins that could be made into sweets by asking for help from the heads of farmer groups in Cibengang Hamlet. After getting a sample of nutmeg skin, we immediately started the process of making candied nutmeg skin so that it could be immediately socialized and become a source of community income. The results of this community service show that public knowledge in the field of nutmeg increases with the socialization of making candied nutmeg peel. Therefore, people will increase their economic income by marketing candied nutmeg peel

Abstract

 The potential of coffee plantations to become an educational tourism object is very high. This community service was carried out in Cijeruk Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. Cijeruk Village is located in the westernmost part of Cilacap Regency and Central Java which is directly adjacent to West Java Province. Its territory is in a mountain valley which is a series of three corner mountains. The altitude of the Cijeruk village area is between 200-1,200 m above sea level with several mountain peaks such as Mount Subang (1,206m), Mount Karang Gumantung (1,185m), Mount Palasari (1,062m) and others. Cijeruk Village is one of the villages that has high natural tourism potential, but has not developed into a mainstay tourist village. The objectives of this service are (1) to identify the potential of the Citaman Indah coffee garden educational tourism object, (2) to identify the problems that become obstacles in the development of the coffee plantation educational tourism object, and (3) to determine the priority scale for the development of the Citaman coffee garden educational tourism object. Beautiful. The results obtained (1) The potential of the Citaman Indah coffee plantation educational tourism object is quite high, but the tourism object has not been managed. (2) The obstacles faced are quite diverse, starting from internal factors: wild animals such as wild boars are still abundant, land boundaries with Perhutani land, some lands are still managed by individuals. Constraints from external factors: the long distance from the sub-district city center, road access can only be passed by dirt bikes and walking, accessibility infrastructure has not been developed, there are no development and promotion activities. (3) create photo spots to introduce and promote the beautiful Citaman coffee garden educational tourism object.

Abstract

Coconut plant in Indonesia is one of the plants that is very useful in rural economic life, precisely in Sindangsari Village. All parts of the coconut tree can be utulized to meet human needs. This training aims to develop the potential of coconut fruit in the community how to process coconut to become candied dried coconut, to help local people’s income. Residents of Sindangsari Village and a group of PKK women collaborated with UMTAS Group 13 KKN students with the theme “Creative Economy”. This was done to improve and empower the PKK women’s group and also to introduce “Dried Coconut Sweets Processing”. This research was conducted in August – September 2022 in Sindangsari Village, Cimerak District, Pangandaran Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk pada pembelajaran IPA siswa Kelas V SDN 2 Sukamaju. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat respon siswa pada pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas V.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian RD (Reaserch and Development) dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket. Sampel yang digunakan dengan menggunakan teknik  sample random sampling dan populasi keseluruhan yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SDN 2 Sukamaju sebanyak 18 siswa. Instrumen  pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, analisis media sejenis, angket validasi (validasi materi, validasi media, dan validasi bahasa) dan angket respon siswa/ teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari hasil uji kelayakan media. Penelitian  ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA kelas V materi rantai makanan. Uji validitas produk diperoleh dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil dari validasi ahli materi mendapat skor 3,63 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Penilaian Ahli media mendapat skor 3,81 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” dan layak digunakan. Pada  validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 4,00 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik". Uji kelayakan media ini didasarkan pada pengisisan dan hasil angket respon siswa. Hasil angket respon siswa 3,60 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Maka dari itu media pembelajaran KARMA (Kartu Rantai Makanan) pada materi rantai makanan kelas V dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas

Abstract

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara di SDN Sirnagalih ditemukan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran, siswa kurang memahami materi perbandingan pecahan sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih dibawah KKM khususnya pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran yaitu media PAPINCA pada materi pecahan kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian yang dikemukakan oleh Borg and Gall dengan tujuh tahapan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Sirnagalih dengan 38 siswa, instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan diantaranya obserevasi, wawancara, angket, penilaian para ahli dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan dan uji efektivitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media PAPINCA memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan tim ahli dan respon siswa memperoleh hasil, validasi ahli media memberikan skor 3,60, ahli bahasa memberikan skor 4,00, ahli materi memberikan skor 3,40. Respon siswa dari uji kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 3,70 dan uji kelompok besar mendapatkan skor 3,59. Kemudian hasil uji efektivitas dari hasil pretest dan posttest, hasil uji efektivitas pada kelas kontrol mendapat skor N-Gain 0,32 dengan kategori sedang, dan kelas eksperimen mendapat skor 0,80 dengan kategori tinggi. Untuk itu media PAPINCA dinyatakan layak dan efektif dijadikan media pembelajaran di kelas III Sekolah Dasar guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi pecahan.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak akibat kekurangan gizi dalam jangka panjang. Stunting bisa disebabkan oleh malnutrisi yang dialami ibu saat hamil, atau anak pada masa pertumbuhannya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberdayakan tim pendamping keluarga (TPK) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui edukasi Makanan Pendamping ASI (MPASI) dalam mencegah dan penurunan angka stunting. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan dan pelatihan masak makanan pendamping ASI berbasis bahan pangan local yang ada di masyarakat. Hasil pengabdian didapatkan respon yang baik dari para kader dan Masyarakat. Peserta memahami bahwa bahan pangan lockal bisa menjadi sumber makanan yang bergizi jika diolah dengan benar. Kesimpulanya pelatihan pengolahan bahan makanan local yang bergizi berlu bermanfaat bagi Masyarakat menengah kebawah. Disarakan untuk kader dan masyarakat yang sudah mengikuti kegiatan ini bisa mempraktekan di rumah masing-masing.

Abstract

This study, entitled "The Structure and Meaning of the Song Balasan Sang Qadli in the Annida Nirwana Group," aims to analyze the lyrical structure and meaning contained in the song. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a semiotic analysis method to examine the meaning of the lyrics based on Ferdinand de Saussure's theory. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with the main subjects of the study being the composer of the song Balasan Sang Qadli and related parties in the Annida Nirwana group. The results show that the lyrical structure in this song has a pattern of repetition and religious diction that strengthens its spiritual message. The meaning of this song depicts a reflection of human life before God, regret for sin, and an invitation to improve oneself by approaching Allah SWT. The symbols used in the lyrics strengthen the religious and da'wah nuances in the song. In conclusion, the song Balasan Sang Qadli functions not only as entertainment, but also as a da'wah medium that conveys Islamic values ​​through modern qasidah music. This research is expected to contribute to the study of religious music and enrich understanding of the role of qasidah in Islamic da'wah.

Abstract

General Background: Aggressive behavior among elementary students disrupts learning activities and hinders social-emotional development in classroom environments. Specific Background: This condition was found in a third-grade student at SDN 1 Puspahiang, exhibiting physical, verbal, emotional, and hostile aggression, requiring contextual interventions aligned with Sundanese cultural values. Knowledge Gap: Although character education and cultural-based learning are theoretically recommended, practical implementation in schools remains limited, particularly programs integrating Kaulinan Barudak Sunda for behavioral regulation. Aims: This study aims to identify forms of aggression demonstrated by the student and to apply the Kabar Sunda (Kaulinan Barudak Sunda) Program as a strategy for reducing aggressive behavior. Results: A qualitative case study was conducted using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation over five traditional game sessions. Findings indicate aggressive behavior across dimensions conceptualized by Buss and Perry, triggered by internal emotional frustration and external disharmonious interactions, with aggression reduction reaching approximately 70–80% and improvement in rule compliance, participation, cooperation, and social interaction. Novelty: This research introduces a culturally grounded intervention through traditional Sundanese games as a contextual, engaging mechanism for behavioral regulation in early education settings. Implications: The outcomes offer a practical alternative for schools to employ local cultural assets as sustainable character-building strategies, reinforcing values of silih asih, silih asah, and silih asuh while fostering a conducive learning climate. Highlights Aggressive behavior decreased progressively across five sessions of traditional Sundanese games. Cultural values integration supported improvements in compliance, cooperation, and interaction. Localized educational programs created a meaningful alternative for character development. Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of Gondang Anak art at the Damar Wulan Art Studio in Parumasan Village, Sodonghilir District, and analyze how these activities play a role in shaping children's character. Gondang art, as an agrarian cultural heritage of the Sundanese people, has strong social and spiritual values, such as mutual cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and togetherness. In a modern context, the involvement of children in Gondang activities at the Damar Wulan Studio is a strategic effort to preserve local culture while instilling positive character values ​​from an early age. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the studio leaders, trainers, and children participating in the activities. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Gondang learning process is carried out in stages through imitation and repetition methods, where the trainer provides direct examples that the children then follow. This activity not only improves musical skills but also fosters character traits of discipline, cooperation, self-confidence, responsibility, and social awareness. Changes in children's behavior are evident in increased time discipline, ability to work in groups, and courage to perform in public. Thus, Gondang Anak art has proven effective as a medium for character education based on local culture. This activity not only preserves traditional Sundanese art but also strengthens the cultural and moral identity of the younger generation amidst the current of globalization.
