Abstract

Indonesia is one country that has great potential in the Paralympic Olympic event. But unfortunately, the potential and achievements are not supported by means of adequate training of Paralympic athletes. Three importants constraints that affect Paralympic athletes are training, a gym and dorm athletes are far apart, the existing sports facilities are public facilities that are less facilitate Paralympic athletes, as well as the city of Solo that it is not possible to accommodate Paralympic athletes training activities. As a problem-solving strategies, takes planning a national training center that can accommodate the needs of Paralympic athletes to improve athletic ability. The training center emphasizes on the design of the facility is accessible for users, especially the Paralympic athletes. Karanganyar selected as the location of the training center because it meets the criteria of the training center. The formulation of the problem in this design is to realize the concept and design of the National Training Center Paralympic Athletes in Karanganyar with Emphasis Architectural Accessibility. Thus it can be formulated National Training Centre planning objectives is to improve and develop the ability of Paralympic athletes in the international arena by emphasizing design accessible to users. The method is carried out to determine the settlement of the problem is through observation at a boarding, training facilities, and the needs of Paralympic athletes and NPC of Indonesia (National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia). Planning national training centers should emphasize the accessibility of architecture in the design of buildings and facilities that are accessible to users. The principle of accessibility architecture is emphasized that security, safety, usability, and independence. Application of these principles appear in the planning design that uses the ramp in all its circulation both inside and in the curved building, the layout of the room and the furniture, the corridors of the building, parking access, handrail, door with universal design, as well as signs and alarms that apply to building national training center. Abstract

The concept of smart homes has revolutionized the way we interact with our living spaces, offering a myriad of benefits ranging from enhanced convenience to improved energy efficiency and security. This paper provides a overview of smart home technologies, their applications, and their impact on modern living. Firstly, we delve into the underlying principles of smart home systems, which typically integrate Internet of Things (IoT) devices, sensors, actuators, and connectivity solutions to create interconnected ecosystems. Secondly, we focus on the functionalities offered by smart home technologies. Advanced features such automatic lighting and security control. These features optimize user needs and experiences before built. Additionally, we address the challenges and considerations inherent in adopting smart home technologies, such as interoperability issues, privacy concerns, cybersecurity risks, and the digital divide. Effective deployment and integration strategies, along with robust privacy and security measures, are crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and user acceptance of smart home ecosystems. In conclusion, the evolution of smart home technologies continues to redefine the way we inhabit and interact with our living spaces. As these systems become increasingly sophisticated and ubiquitous, they hold the potential to not only enhance our quality of life but also contribute to a more sustainable and connected future.

Abstract

Jalan Jendral Urip Sumoharjo in Surakarta is an example of a street in a big city in Indonesia that has adapted in terms of its streetscape architecture. This adaptation is influenced by many factors and possibilities that need to be explored in the future. One of the dominant determining factors is the discovery of facts about local business development in carrying out trading activities on this road section. This research explores forms of streetscape architectural adaptation in the context of the local business environment, with a focus on Jalan Jendral Urip Sumoharjo. The study explored the unique characteristics of the streetscape, emphasizing its role in responding to a dynamic local business community. The adaptive nature of streetscape architecture is observed by considering factors such as design, functionality, and its integration with local businesses. Jalan Jendral Urip Sumoharjo serves as a specific case study, showcasing the intersection between adaptive urban design and the vitality of the local business environment. Adaptation to the streetscape in terms of architecture is influenced by user needs, in this case the majority of traders who need flexibility.

Abstract

Klinik NU Maos Cilacap merupakan fasilitas kesehatan yang memberikan layanan medis dasar, termasuk rawat jalan dan rawat inap. Untuk memastikan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi keselamatan dan kelayakan bangunan, klinik ini diwajibkan memiliki Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemenuhan persyaratan SLF berdasarkan regulasi terbaru, yakni Permenkes Nomor 40 Tahun 2022 dan PP Nomor 16 Tahun 2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan observasi dan analisis dokumen teknis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Klinik NU Maos telah memenuhi sebagian besar persyaratan SLF, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperbaiki, seperti arsitektur, mekanikal, elektrikal, dan tata ruang luar. Dengan penerapan rekomendasi perbaikan, diharapkan Klinik NU Maos dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan keamanan fasilitasnya, serta memperoleh SLF sesuai standar yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Bangunan kantor merupakan tempat orang bekerja yang tentunya membutuhkan ruang yang nyaman supaya para pengguna ruang dapat bekerja dengan maksimal demi meningkatkan produktifitas serta efektifitas pekerja. Untuk menciptakan ruang yang nyaman dapat diwujudkan dengan mengoptimalkan sirkulasi, kenyamanan termal dan pencahayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui standar sirkulasi, kenyamanan termal menurut SNI dan pencahayaan menurut SNI, serta mengevaluasi desain ruang kerja kantor yang nyaman dalam segi sirkulasi, kenyamanan termal dan pencahayaan. Penelitian untuk sirkulasi menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menekankan pada penelitian naturalistik serta menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa tulisan. Untuk kenyamanan termal dan pencahayaan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan ruang-ruang yang akan diteliti, sedangkan kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini berupa data penjabaran angka. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 3 tahap, yaitu observasi, wawancara/pengukuran lapangan dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada kantor PT Casa Prima Indonesa masih terdapat ruang yang belum memenuhi standar kenyamanan sirkulasi, kenyamanan termal dan pencahayaan.

Abstract

Asta Kosala Kosali merupakan filosofi arsitektur tradisional Bali yang mengutamakan harmoni antara manusia, alam, dan spiritualitas melalui tata letak ruang yang diatur berdasarkan konsep Nista, Madya, dan Utama. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai�nilai tradisional tersebut dapat diadaptasi ke dalam desain modern yang tetap fungsional dan estetis. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi digital terhadap tata letak ruang dan simulasi pencahayaan menggunakan perangkat lunak DIALux Evo untuk menilai efektivitas pencahayaan alami. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ruang memenuhi standar pencahayaan SNI-6197-2020, terutama di area dengan bukaan besar dan skylight. Namun, ditemukan beberapa ruang yang memiliki pencahayaan di bawah standar, menandakan perlunya tambahan bukaan atau pencahayaan buatan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa prinsip Asta Kosala Kosali dapat diadaptasi secara efektif dalam arsitektur modern dengan beberapa modifikasi, seperti penggunaan material transparan dan tata letak fleksibel. Integrasi desain tradisional dan modern ini menciptakan keseimbangan antara efisiensi energi dan kenyamanan visual. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mengoptimalkan distribusi cahaya dan mengeksplorasi teknologi pencahayaan hemat energi guna mendukung keberlanjutan desain arsitektur.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of a smart home system using the Internet of Things (IoT) with Google Nest as a voice-command interface to control lighting and CCTV in residential environments. The system integrates smart touchscreen light switches and IP-based surveillance cameras within the Google Home ecosystem. Through design, installation, and user testing, the system was evaluated for functionality, convenience, and user satisfaction. The study found that voice control enhanced accessibility, while touchscreen switches offered practical manual control when needed. Real-time CCTV monitoring via IP cameras provided added home security. However, challenges such as internet dependency and post-blackout functionality of smart devices were identified. Overall, the research demonstrates the feasibility and benefits of integrating IoT in modern homes and presents a user-friendly model that could inform future smart residential designs. The findings were also validated through practical implementation, as documented in a video published by Herlian Architecture Studio.

Abstract

Perkembangan arsitektur telah melewati berbagai era dan menciptakan beragam gaya, salah satunya gaya arsitektur kontemporer. Arsitektur kontemporer adalah gaya yang memberikan kebebasan kepada para desainer untuk berkarya tanpa terpengaruh oleh gaya arsitektur dari masa lalu. Dalam perencanaan fasad bangunan dengan mengambil studi kasus pada Warehouse Orange Coffee & bakery untuk mengidentifikasi karakter arsitektur kontemporer. Sehingga bertujuan untuk pengembangan fasad bangunan dalam menciptakan estetika visual yang sesuai dengan karakteristik arsitektur kontemporer. Penggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dalam mengidentifikasikan karakteristik arsitektur kontemporer melalui elemen fasad bangunan warehouse coffee & bakery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan fasad bangunan dalam menciptakan estetika visual yang sesuai dengan karakteristik arsitektur kontemporer serta menciptakan bangunan dengan penghayatan yang kuat karena berbeda dengan bangunan di sekitarnya sehingga dapat menjadi referensi utama dalam perkembangan arsitektur kontemporer yang mampu menjawab kebutuhan estetika dan fungsionalitas di era saat ini dengan menggabungkan inovasi teknologi terbaru, serta memperhatikan visual dan estetika pada fasad bangunan.

Abstract

Kenyamanan interior kamar kos merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi produktivitas dan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kenyamanan interior kamar kos yang memengaruhi aktivitas harian mereka. Evaluasi dilakukan pada Kos Rumah Teduh, Kos Pule House Demangan, dan Kos Griya Prasetya 1 untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh tingkat kenyamanan visual interior terhadap perilaku pengguna ruang kamar kosPenelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, melalui teknik observasi, studi literatur, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenyamanan interior kamar kos memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas penghuni, khususnya mahasiswa. Melalui evaluasi ini, diidentifikasi aspek-aspek kenyamanan yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti pencahayaan, ventilasi, desain interior yang mendukung aktivitas, serta perawatan dan fasilitas kamar kos yang memadai.Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi pengelola kos untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan visual dan fungsional ruang interior sehingga menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih mendukung dan nyaman bagi penghuninya.
