Abstract

This study discusses the development of contextual Arabic language e-modules on the material of al-'unwānu. This is based on various problems found in the Arabic language learning process in an era of rapid and rapid technological development that requires innovation to be developed, one of which is the development of e-modules with an attractive appearance and more detailed material. This study aims to describe the prototype design of the learning e-module, the level of validity and effectiveness. The research method used is Research and Development by adapting Sugiyono's development steps, namely: (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) validation; (5) design revision; (6) product trial; (7) product revision; (8) usage trial; (9) product revision; (10) mass production. The results of this study are contextual Arabic language e-modules that are interesting and suitable for use to improve student understanding in learning. The validity of the e-module is very valid with a percentage of material expert I scores of 88%, material expert II 82%, media expert 80%, learning expert 96% and student response 91%. The level of effectiveness of the e-module is in the category of 'quite effective' with the results of the effectiveness test of student understanding obtained an average initial test score = 41.2 final test = 79.36, the difference between the initial and final test scores = 38.16. The result of the n-gain score calculation is 0.649573338 with a presentation of 65%. So that the contextual Arabic language learning e-module on the al-'unwānu material is quite effective to be used to improve student understanding.Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan e-modul bahasa Arab berbasis kontekstual pada materi al-‘unwānu. Hal ini didasari pada berbagai persoalan yang didapat dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di zaman berkembangnya teknologi dengan pesat dan cepat yang mengharuskan adanya inovasi yang dikembangkan salah satunya dengan pengembangan e-modul dengan tampilan yang menarik dan materi yang lebih rinci.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prototipe desain e-modul pembelajaran, tingkat validitas dan efektifitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi langkah pengembangan Sugiyono, yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba produk; (7) revisi produk; (8) uji coba pemakaian; (9) revisi produk; (10) produksi massal. Hasil penelitian ini ialah e-modul bahasa Arab berbasis kontekstual yang menarik dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran. Validitas e-modul sangat valid dengan presentase nilai ahli materi I 88%, ahli materi II 82%, ahli media 80%, ahli pembelajaran 96% dan respon siswa 91%. Tingkat efektifitas e-modul berada pada kategori ‘cukup efektif’ dengan hasil uji efektifitas pemahaman siswa diperoleh rata-rata nilai tes awal = 41,2 tes akhir = 79,36, selisih skor tes awal dan akhir = 38,16. Hasil perhitungan n-gain score ialah 0.649573338 dengan presentasi sebanyak ialah 65%. Sehingga e-modul pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis kotekstual pada materi al-‘unwānu cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of multimedia-based textbooks for Qawā'id learning at the Madrasah Aliyah level. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) Describing the prototype for the development of multimedia-based textbooks on qawaid learning at the Islamic Senior High School. 2) Testing both the validity and practicality of multimedia-based textbooks on qawaid learning at the Islamic Senior High School. 3) Describing the effectiveness of multimedia-based textbooks on qawaid learning at the Islamic Senior High School. The type of research used is Research and Development, which refers to Sugiyono's model (Potentials and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trials, Product Revisions, Usage Trials, Product Revisions and Mass Products). Multimedia-based textbook was developed through the Kind Master application downloaded from the Google Play Store. The developed media was tested for feasibility by media expert validators and material experts and practitioners by educators, as well as a feasibility test based on 30 students’ responses of class XI at YMPI Rappang Madrasah Aliyah. The results of this study were 1) A multimedia-based textbooks supplemented with videos 2) the multimedia-based textbooks were proved valid with the material expert validation result reached 94.11%, media expert validation result reached 92% and learning expert validation result reached 96.66%, the result of small class trials reached 95% and large class trials reached 94.5% 3). This book was declared effective by calculating the pretest score of 59.10, and the posttest score was 86.23. 86.23 minus 59.10 equals 27.133. It meant that there was a difference of 27.133. Based on this result, it was known that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05. Because of the sig.(2-tailed) value is 0.000 less than 0.05, so there was an increase in learning outcomes with the use of the multimedia-based textbooks, it was concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected which meant that the multimedia-based textbooks were effectively used in qawā'id learning at the Islamic Senior High School.

Abstract

This study discusses about the Development of Arabic Learning Media based on Quizizz which aims to describe the prototype of Quizizz learning media, validity and practicality, and effectiveness in learning. The research method used is a development research method, namely R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model with five development steps: (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The result of this study is that Quizizz-based learning media is interesting and can be used in improving students’s skills in Arabic learning. The validity of the product gets a high score with a percentage from the first material expert 86.67%, from the second material expert 96.67%, from the media expert 80%, and the students’ responses 90%. The level of effectiveness of the product is quite effective with the results of the effectiveness test obtained, namely the average score of pretest = 42.50 posttest = 74.23, The result of the n-gain score calculation is 0.59 with a presentation of 59.47%. So that Quizizz-based learning media in Arabic learning is quite effective in improving the students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Berbasis Quizizz yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prototipe media pembelajaran Quizizz, kevalidan dan kepraktisan, serta efektivitas dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan yaitu R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima langkah pengembangan: (1) Analyze (Analisis), (2) Design (Perancangan), (3) Development (Pengembangan), (4) Implementation (Implementasi), (5) Evaluation (Evaluasi). Hasil penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz menarik dan dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pada maharah qiraah dan kitabah peserta didik. Kevalidan produk mendapatkan nilai sangat valid dengan presentase ahli materi I 86,67%, ahli materi II 96,67%, ahli media 80%, dan respon peserta didik 90%. Tingkat efektivitas produk mendapatkan nilai cukup efektif dengan hasil uji efektivitas yang diperoleh yaitu rata-rata nilai pretest = 42,50 posttest = 74,23. Hasil perhitungan skor n-gain adalah 0,59 dengan presentasi 59,47%. Sehingga media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab cukup efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik pada maharah qiraah dan kitabah.

Abstract

This paper examines the existence of Mu'askar Al-Lugah Al-Arabiyah Program at Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang. The research objectives are: (1) To understand the perceptions of the administrators and participants regarding the existence of the Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah program at Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang in the digital era; (2) To investigate the efforts of the Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah program in adapting to the digital era to sustain its relevance at Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang; (3) To assess the impact of digital technology adaptation on the learning outcomes and achievements of the participants. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah program's response to digital challenges. Descriptive research describes existing phenomena in the field, while qualitative research analyzes and interprets social activities, attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions of individuals or groups. The findings reveal: (1) The program at Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang aims to enhance Arabic language skills and should continue despite technological adaptation challenges; (2) It combines traditional teaching with interactive and digital methods; (3) Digital technology adaptation has improved participants' language skills and comprehension of the material.Abstrak: Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang eksistensi Program Mu'askar Al-Lugah Al-'Arabiyah di Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui persepsi pengurus dan peserta tentang eksistensi program Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah di Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang di era digital; (2) Untuk mengetahui upaya program Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah dalam beradaptasi dengan era digital agar tetap relevan di Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang; (3) Untuk mengkaji dampak adaptasi teknologi digital terhadap capaian pembelajaran dan prestasi peserta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis respons program Mu'askar al-Lugah al-'Arabiyah terhadap tantangan digital. Penelitian deskriptif menggambarkan fenomena yang ada di lapangan, sedangkan penelitian kualitatif menganalisis dan menginterpretasi aktivitas sosial, sikap, keyakinan, dan persepsi individu atau kelompok. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan: (1) Program di Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab dan harus terus berlanjut meskipun menghadapi tantangan adaptasi teknologi; (2) Program ini menggabungkan pengajaran tradisional dengan metode interaktif dan digital; (3) Adaptasi teknologi digital telah meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa dan pemahaman materi peserta.

Abstract

Mastery of qawaid (Arabic grammar) is a fundamental component in Arabic language learning, particularly in supporting students’ writing skills. This study aims to examine the influence of qawaid mastery on students’ guided writing skills (insya' muwajjah) at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) YMPI Rappang. Guided writing refers to the ability to compose structured texts based on specific instructions or frameworks provided by the teacher. Using an ex post facto approach, the study involved a population of 113 eleventh-grade students, with a sample of 53 students selected through probability sampling using proportionate stratified random techniques. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through tests measuring students’ mastery of qawaid and their guided writing skills. Data analysis employed product-moment correlation and simple linear regression techniques. The results showed that qawaid mastery had a positive and significant influence on students' guided writing skills, with a coefficient value of 0.536. These findings indicate that strengthening Arabic grammar mastery contributes significantly to the development of guided writing abilities. Therefore, the integration of qawaid learning needs to be emphasized in the Arabic curriculum to support the optimal achievement of students’ writing competencies.

Abstract

Learning outcome assessment plays a strategic role in improving the quality of Arabic language learning. Learning evaluation plays an important role in measuring the achievement of student competencies. One of the commonly used approaches is the interpretation of test results based on Norm Reference Assessment (PAN) and Benchmark/Criteria Reference Assessment (PAK). This study aims to review the effectiveness of these assessment approaches in the context of Arabic language learning. The method used is library research, by reviewing primary and secondary literature such as scientific journals, books, and academic documents. The selection of sources is based on the suitability of the theme, recency, and credibility. The analysis techniques applied are content analysis and thematic synthesis to explore patterns of test score interpretation in learning evaluation. This study also highlights how educators can link test results with criterion or norm-based assessments proportionally and contextually. The results of the study indicate that the criterion-based approach tends to be more applicable in supporting students' mastery of maharah lughawiyah and supporting directed learning. Meanwhile, the norm-based approach remains relevant in the context of large-scale selection or evaluation. Thus, the selection of the right assessment method, accompanied by an understanding of the evaluation function, will encourage the achievement of learning objectives more effectively and comprehensively.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of relaxation techniques in reducing Arabic language anxiety among students at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Mahfudz Lekopa’dis. The research aimed to assess (1) the students’ level of anxiety before the intervention, (2) the level of anxiety after the intervention, and (3) the effectiveness of relaxation techniques from a psycholinguistic perspective. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, the Arabic Language Anxiety Scale (SKBA), and the Arabic Speaking Proficiency Assessment Rubric (RPKBA). The sample consisted of 46 seventh-grade students divided into an experimental group (n=21) receiving relaxation techniques—breathing dhikr, positive visualization, relaxed role-playing, and staged muhadatsah—and a control group (n=25) undergoing conventional learning. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests and ANCOVA. The results revealed that students’ anxiety levels before the intervention were in the moderate to high range (mean = 113.61). After the intervention, the experimental group showed a significant decrease in anxiety scores from 114.24 to 66.48 (a 42% reduction, t=6.491, p<0.001, Cohen’s d=0.957). Compared to the control group (post-test mean = 110.92), the effect size was huge (Cohen’s d = -4.012), with 85.7% of the experimental group achieving low-anxiety levels. Although the improvement in speaking performance showed a positive trend, it was not statistically significant (p=0.124). From a psycholinguistic viewpoint, reduced anxiety enhanced working memory and facilitated automatic language processing, supporting Krashen’s Affective Filter Hypothesis.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu bahasa yang dianggap paling sulit untuk dipahami dan dipelajari. Sehingga hal ini tentu saja menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi para pendidik untuk menarik minat untuk belajar bahasa Arab serta mematahkan anggapan tersebut. Fenomena tersebut dapat dilihat pada peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah DDI Takkalasi, yang merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang terletak di kabupaten Barru. Munculnya fonomena penurunan tingkat prestasi serta kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam pelajaran bahasa Arab. Kegiatan intensifikasi pembinaan bahasa Arab ini dapat menjadi wadah pengenalan atau sosialisasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Pembinaan ini dilakukan selama delapan hari yang dilaksanakan dari pagi hingga sore hari, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan tahapan pretest, dan hasil dari pretest tersebut merupakan dasar dalam pengelompokan peserta ketika kegiatan berlangsung, serta menjadi pembanding dengan hasil posttest di akhir kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta yang terdiri atas 30 orang terampil berbicara dan menjadi motivator bagi temannya yang tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Bentuk evaluasi dilakukan secara lisan dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada setiap peserta untuk menceritakan aktifitas sehari-hari mereka dalam bahasa Arab, serta mampu membuat kalimat sederhana yang sering digunakan di sekolah maupun madrasah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektivitas Metode Ummi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik MTs Plus Al-Ishlah Bondowoso Cabang Timika Kabupaten Mimika Provinsi Papua Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbdaan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode Ummi serta menganalisis efektivitas Metode Ummi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik, yang diukur melalui aspek makharijul huruf, tajwid, fashahah, dan irama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenisQuasy-eksperiment dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII-VIII-IX dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster sampling. Teknik pengumpulann data meliputi tes (Pretest dan Posttest), angket dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes lisan, lembar angket untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas dan kemampuan peserta didik selama pembelajaran, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji Independent Samples t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan awal dan akhir pada kedua kelas. Setelah penerapan Metode Ummi, kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang jauh lebih tinggi dengan nilai posttest 84,67, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 67,86. (2) Efektivitas metode Ummi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an peserta didik dibuktikan melalui uji independent samples t-test berdasarkan uji independent samples t-test dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001 < 0,05 dan nilai t-hitung = -5,737 yang lebih besar secara dibanding t-tabel, sehingga H? ditolak dan H? diterima.
