Abstract

The problem of this research is which sub-district in Langsa City is the Base for Rice Crops. The aim of this research is to identify the Subdistrict which is the base area for Rice Plants in Langsa City. The method used in this research is a survey method based on secondary data. The results showed that the greater the Sub-District rice production compared to the City production, the more likely the area would be a Basis Sub-District. LQ value analysis shows that East Langsa Sub-District, Langsa Lama Sub-District and West Langsa Sub- District are classified as Basis. Keywords: Langsa City, Location Quotient, Rice Crops

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk miskin Indonesia masih dikategorikan tinggi, BPS mencatat jumlah penduduk miskin di Indonesia pada maret 2019 mencapai 25,14 juta penduduk dari total 267 juta penduduk. Hal ini yang menjadi dorongan hidup untuk setiap anggota keluarga bekerja terutama wanita ikut berperan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Pada keluarga yang tingkat perekonomiannya rendah peran wanita tidak hanya menjadi sebagai ibu rumah tangga saja tetapi wanita turut ikut bekerja mencari nafkah dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga khususnya pada suami yang kurang dalam mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga, salah satunya dengan cara beternak itik. Para ibu rumah tangga ini berperan dalam membantu perekonomian keluarga dengan bekerja sebagai Peternak Itik. Ibu rumah tangga ini harus membagi waktunya untuk anak dan juga keluarga. Mereka dituntut untuk tetap mengurus rumah tangga, memperhatikan pendidikan anak, dan juga membantu perekonomian keluarga. Dengan melakukan pekerjaan ini mereka percaya bahwa dapat meringankan beban ekonomi keluarga melalui berdagang tanpa meninggalkan kewajiban mengurus rumah tangga. Hal ini mereka lakukan unuk mencapai keluarga makmur sejahtera sehingga mereka dapat meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency with the research title "Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation (Case Study: Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency)" in August 2022. The purpose of this research is to analyze how farmers' perceptions of the implementation of community oil palm rejuvenation in the research area of Kampung Baru Village. The data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from information provided by farmers as respondents using a list of questions (questionnaire) that had been prepared beforehand. Secondary data is data obtained from information from related institutions and book literature related to this research, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative data. The results of this study indicate that Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation (Case study: Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency), from the economic aspect, have a neutral perception, while the social and technical aspects have very good perceptions.Keywords: Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of Oil Palm Rejuvenation

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the decision of farmers in Kampung Selamat towards replanting and to determine the economic ability of farmer households to carry out oil palm replanting to the household economy of farmers in Kampung Selamat, Tenggulun District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely this research is conducted field observations by interviewing oil palm farmers who have replanted using a questionnaire, then described clearly. The research method used in this study was obtained by recalling data through surveys. The sample taken in this study was 23 done by simple randomization. There are 2 data analysis techniques used, namely decision analysis and ability analysis.
