Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan teknik kartu arisan yang meliputi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, respon siswa, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-APK SMK Negeri 3 Bangkalan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa, soal tes dan angket respon siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, metode tes dan metode angket. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif.Berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh data penelitian bahwa kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran baik, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran aktif, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif, dan hasil belajar siswa tuntas secara klasikal diperoleh 83,33 %. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif dengan teknik kartu arisan pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika di kelas XI-APK SMK Negeri 3 Bangkalan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran statistika dan peluang untuk mengembangkan statistical literacy siswa SMP yang valid, praktis dan efektif; dan (2) mendeskripsikan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran statistika dan peluang untuk mengembangkan statistical literacy siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu analisis, perancangan dan pengembangan prototipe, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar validasi, lembar keterbacaan, lembar penilaian guru, lembar penilaian siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan instrumen tes statistical literacy. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran statistika dan peluang untuk mengembangkan statistical literacy siswa SMP yang terdiri dari RPP dan LKS yang telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Karakteristik dari hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran statistika dan peluang untuk mengembangkan statistical literacy siswa SMP, yaitu (1) menggunakan model guided discovery learning; (2) adanya kegiatan yang membimbing siswa untuk menginterpretasikan, menyimpulkan, dan mengevaluasi data; dan (3) menggunakan masalah-masalah kontekstual terkait dengan pribadi, sekolah, dan masyarakat. AbstractThe objectives of this study were to (1) produce a statistics and probability teaching kit to develop statistical literacy of junior secondary school students that was valid, practical, and effective; and (2) describe the characteristics of statistics and probability teaching kit to develop statistical literacy of junior secondary school students. This study was research and development. The development of a teaching kit was using Plomp’s model consisting of three stages. Those were analysis, design and development of the prototype, and evaluation. The research instruments consisted of a validation sheet, legibility sheet, teacher's assessment sheet, student’s assessment sheet, learning enforcement observation sheet, and statistical literacy test instruments. This research produced statistics and probability teaching kit to develop statistical literacy of junior secondary school students consisting of a lesson plan and student’s worksheet which have met the criteria valid, practical, and effective. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of MTs students. The purpose of the study was to describe the problem-solving profile of students with high self-efficacy in terms of students' gender. The research method is qualitative research, where the research subject consists of one male student and one female student with a high level of self-efficacy from MTs students in class VIII-A. The main instrument is the researcher himself, supported by problem-solving tests, self-efficacy questionnaires, and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique was carried out using stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that in solving problems male students with high self-efficacy were superior to female students with high self-efficacy, namely: (1) In The stage of understanding the problem, male and female students with high self-efficacy were able to name all that information known and asked. (2) In the planning stage, male and female students with high self-efficacy are good enough in determining strategies. (3) In the stage of implementing the plan, male and female students with high self-efficacy were following the planned strategy. However, in practice, female students with high self-efficacy make many mistakes, so the results obtained are not correct. (4) In the re-examination stage, male and female students with high self-efficacy re-examine the results of their answers.

Abstract

Students need to improve mathematical competence not just counting but the ability to reason, namely logical and critical thinking in problem solving. In addition, the demands of students today are related to the Pancasila profile students, one of which is critical reasoning. The learning process at school should facilitate students in improving their reasoning skills. However, PISA 2022 which emphasizes student assessment of student reasoning reports the results are still below the International average. Therefore, it is important to apply a learning model that can improve student reasoning. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Bridging Analogy approach to improve student reasoning. The description of teacher activities, student activities, mathematical reasoning test results and student responses become a reference in seeing the effectiveness of the learning model applied to improve student reasoning. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of teacher and student activities in the application of the PBL model with the Bridging analogy approach is in the good category. Students' mathematical reasoning increased after the application of the problem-based learning model with a bridging analogy approach, both in subjects who had high, medium, and low initial abilities on the material of function derivatives.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran matematika, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih terbilang lemah, hal ini ditandai dengan kesulitan yang dialami siswa ketika diberikan soal berbentuk cerita. Kurangnya minat belajar siswa terhadap matematika menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas secara mendalam tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi SPLTV ditinjau dari minat belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga siswa kelas X MIA yang terpilih dari masing-masing kriteria minat belajar matematika, yaitu dari minat belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket minat belajar, soal tes KPMM dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Siswa dengan minat belajar matematika tinggi mampu menyelesaikan seluruh indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Polya dengan baik dan sistematis; 2) Siswa dengan minat belajar matematika sedang, mampu memenuhi sebagian besar indikator pemecahan masalah, hanya saja tidak mampu pada tahap memeriksa kembali; dan 3) Siswa dengan minat belajar matematika rendah, mampu memenuhi sebagian indikator pemecahan masalah yaitu pada tahap memahami masalah dan merencanakan masalah namun belum mampu memenuhi tahapan yang lain.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Model penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang digunakan adalah model spiral C. Kemmis & Mc Taggart, dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan teknik non tes serta dibantu oleh Guru Mata Pelajaran untuk menilai Guru dan Peserta didik saat keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Alat penelitian menggunakan soal dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan relatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ranah kognitif terhadap hasil belajar matematika berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar kondisi awal, siklus I dan siklus II persentasenya adalah 21,43%; 71,43% dan 71.43%. Sedangkan hasil belajar matematika ranah psikomotor berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar yaitu 0%; 53,57%; 84% pada pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

Information literacy is a student's need to keep pace with the increasingly rapid and dynamic development of science and technology. The ability of statistical literacy becomes a benchmark to find out information literacy students. Statistical literacy is the ability of understanding, interpreting, and evaluating information critically. The ability of statistical literacy is a benchmark in order to know students’ awareness about information. Therefore, it is important to identify students' statistical literacy abilities and how far students are able to use the information in a better way. The aim of this study is to reveal the students’ statistical literacy ability of junior high school students in mathematics class, based on four indicators, (1) understanding the basic terminology of statistics and the probability to understand information; (2) interpreting statistical messages; (3) making conclusion and a decision; (4) evaluating information critically. The research method is descriptive. The subjects of this research are 7th grade students of  SMPN 2 Bangkalan. The results show that, students have good understanding of statistics and probability terminology, students were able to interpret statistical messages in graphical form, but most of the students are weak to interpret data that is presented in the form of pie charts. The ability to evaluate and make a conclusion that is made by most students is not based on mathematical calculations, so that the effect in making decisions is not efficient. The conclusion is the subjects have statistical literacy ability in understanding, interpreting, and making conclusions, but have not reached the stage of evaluating information critically.Melek terhadap informasi merupakan kebutuhan siswa untuk mengimbangi perkembangan IPTEK yang semakin pesat dan dinamis. Kemampuan statistical literacy menjadi tolak ukur untuk mengetahui siswa melek informasi. Adapun statistical literacy merupakan kemampuan memahami, menginterpretasikan, dan mengevaluasi informasi kontesktual secara kritis. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya mengindentifikasi statistical literacy siswa dan sejauh mana siswa dapat menggunakan informasi secara cerdas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan kemampuan statistical literacy siswa SMP pada pembelajaran matematika berdasarkan empat indikator, yaitu (1) pemahaman terminologi dasar statistika dan peluang untuk memahami informasi; (2) menafsirkan pesan statistik; (3) menyimpulkan dan membuat keputusan; (4) mengevaluasi informasi secara kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa memiliki pemahaman terminologi dasar statistika dan peluang yang baik, siswa mampu menginterpretasikan pesan statistik dalam bentuk grafik, namun sebagian besar siswa lemah untuk menafsirkan data yang disajikan dalam bentuk diagram lingkaran. Cara mengevaluasi dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dibuat sebagian besar siswa kurang didasari perhitungan secara matematis, sehingga berdampak dalam membuat keputusan yang kurang efisien. Kesimpulannya siswa SMP memiliki kemampuan statistical literacy dalam memahami, menginterpretasikan, dan menarik kesimpulan, namun belum sampai pada tahap mengevaluasi informasi secara kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan selama kegiatan pra-penelitian yaitu rendahnya rasa ingin tahu siswa dan mempengaruhi prestasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil angket rasa ingin tahu siswa berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 54% pada kegiatan pra-penelitian. Bahkan tidak ada satupun siswa pada kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Sebagian besar siswa mendapatkan nilai pada tes awal matematika dibawah KKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi siswa kelas VII SMP Islam MU Modung dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model guided discovery learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model PTK yang dikembangkan oleh Kemis & McTagart. Ada empat tahapan penelitian yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rasa ingin tahu siswa setelah penerapan 2 siklus.  Pada siklus I, rata-rata rasa ingin tahu siswa yang awalnya berada pada kategori rendah meningkat pada kategori sedang. Kemudian siklus II meningkat pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 73%. Adapun prestasi belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada setiap akhir siklus dibandingkan dengan data awal dan mencapai KKM sebanyak 76.92% di akhir siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran guided discovery dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa pada pembelajaran matematika, sehingga secara otomatis meningkatkan prestasi matematika siswa.
