Abstract

Pencemaran udara di dalam ruang merupakan salah satu fenomena lingkungan yang membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Parkiran basement merupakan ruangan yang berpotensi menghasilkan emisi gas buang kendaraan. Pusat perbelanjaan yang memiliki parkiran di basement dapat menggangu indeks kenyamanan melalui kualitas udara yang tercemar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kualitas udara di Parkiran Basement Pusat Perbelanjaan Banjarbaru dengan parameter CO dan TSP. Hasil pengukuran kemudian dibandingkan dengan baku mutu yang berlaku dan menginterpretasikannya menjadi bentuk peta pola sebaran melalui Software Quantum GIS 2.28.2. Pengukuran CO dilakukan menggunakan NDIR Analyzer  melalui teddlar bag berdasarkan SNI 7119.10-2011 memakai metode Non-Dispersive Infrared Sensor (NDIR) dan metode manual alat menggunakan TSI DustTrak II Aerosol Monitor untuk pengukuran konsentrasi TSP. Pengukuran dilakukan pada jam puncak kepadatan pengunjung yang bertepatan di akhir pekan pada hari minggu selama satu jam pada masing-masing titik. Titik pengambilan sampel terdiri dari 6 titik berdasarkan grid lokasi. Dalam pengukuran konsentrasi tiap parameter, nilai faktor meteorologis meliputi suhu, kelembaban, tekanan udara serta arah dan kecepatan angin turut dilakukan pengukuran. Hasil pengukuran parameter diperoleh konsentrasi CO tertinggi dititik 5 sebesar 5852 µg/Nm3 dan konsentrasi TSP tertinggi dititik 4 sebesar 0,022 µg/m3. Nilai tersebut masih berada dibawah baku mutu PP No. 22 Tahun 2021 untuk CO 10000 µg/Nm3 dan TSP 250 µg/m3. Nilai faktor meteorologis kelembaban, tekanan udara, serta arah dan kecepatan angin masih terbilang aman untuk indeks kenyamanan ruang kerja yang ditetapkan Permenaker No.5 Tahun 2018. Namun untuk nilai suhu melebihi ketetapan tersebut dengan maksimal rentang 23°C-26°C sedangkan hasil pengukuran memperoleh nilai 32°C-34°C. Hasil pemetaan pola sebaran CO dan TSP menunjukkan perbedaan kerapatan garis dan warna kontur. Perbedaan kerapatan garis kontur mengartikan bahwa dispersi polutan memiliki intensitas tertentu. Warna kontur menunjukkan tingkatan dari sebaran polutan tertinggi dan terendah. Berdasarkan peta pola sebaran, sebaran CO terbilang lebih pekat pada beberapa titik. Sedangkan sebaran TSP yang diterima terbilang kecil.  Kata Kunci: CO, Parkiran Basement, Pola Sebaran, TSP, Quantum GIS 2.28.2

Abstract

Sungai Cantung merupakan salah satu sungai yang mengalir di Kabupaten Kotabaru dengan luas DAS sebesar 112,694 ha. Kajian dilakukan untuk menganalisis status kualitas air Sungai Cantung agar dapat mengetahui kondisi dan tingkat status mutu airnya sehingga dapat mengambil kebijakan pengelolaan dan pengendalian pencemaran dengan tepat. Penelitian dilakukan pada saat musim hujan. Nilai status mutu air dianalisis dengan Metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) yang perhitungannya mengacu pada KepMen LH No. 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air. Berdasarkan perhitungan indeks pencemaran (IP) menunjukkan Sungai Cantung pada C2 kawasan pemukiman dalam kondisi baik, dan 9 titik sampling termasuk kategori cemar ringan berdasarkan Baku Mutu PP Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup peruntukan air sungai dan sejenisnya kelas II, untuk nilai Indeks Pencemaran (IP) terendah sebesar 0,74 dan tertinggi sebesar 2,53.  Kata kunci: Indeks Pencemaran (IP), Status Mutu Air, Sungai Cantung

Abstract

Tofu is a soy-based culinary product. During the manufacturing process, the tofu industry generates solid refuse and liquid waste. The majority of the tofu industry lacks a sewage treatment infrastructure, so the resulting waste is discharged directly into the river. High levels of organic pollutants are present in liquid waste, which can cause significant pollution. The effluents discharged into the water must meet the established quality requirements. If the water discharged does not meet quality standards, it will pollute the environment. This research aims to evaluate the quality of wastewater produced by the tofu industry, as well as determine the most suitable treatment technology for the waste conditions and design a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The tofu industry's liquid effluent contains 2666.5 mg/L BOD, 12476.1 mg/L COD, and 3220.3 mg/L TSS. The selection of WWTP technology utilizes a scoring method based on criteria provided by the Technical Team for Sanitation Development. The chosen treatment unit is an Anaerobic-Aerobic Biofilter with a score of 4.3. The design of the WWTP model includes an equalization tank, initial sedimentation tank, anaerobic biofilter tank, aerobic biofilter tank, and final sedimentation tank.

Abstract

Because the capacity of natural or man-made channels can no longer support the flow of incoming rains, inundation may happen. Nearly every puddle in Cempaka District, with an average height of 20 cm and an inundation time of 6 hours or until the rain stops, is in a residential area, a rice field, or a plantation, according to the final report of the 2021 Banjarbaru City Environmental Road Drainage Masterplan. The goal of this plan is to study the anticipated flood flow, assess the drainage channel's capacity, suggest infiltration well proportions, and create a three-dimensional layout of the infiltration wells. With maximum daily rainfall data for 10 years (2012-2021), hydrological and hydraulic analysis was conducted for this design. According to the findings of the anticipated flood discharge calculation, segment 1 will experience a minimum discharge of 0.06 m3/s and a maximum discharge of 0.19 m3/s. This planning makes use of the Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) software, which enables modeling of the field's current drainage conditions by adding metrics collected under real circumstances. It is advised to include infiltration wells with a 1 m diameter and a 3 m well depth. To avoid flooding, infiltration wells will be installed to each section to lessen the projected flood flow that will enter the drainage canal and reach the water body.

Abstract

Waste is the rest of human daily activities and / or natural processes in solid form. Waste can have a very bad impact on people's health and environment if it cannot be addressed. The waste problem must be handled appropriately. One alternative to improving waste management is by replacing or implementing an existing waste treatment site with a 3R (reduce, reuse, and recycle) based waste treatment site. The amount of waste generation is directly proportional to population growth. North Banjarbaru is one of the sub-districts in Banjarbaru City with an area of 26,855 km2. North Banjarbaru District has a population of 53,770 people (as of 2021) and has a population growth rate of 1.31% annually, North Banjarbaru is the district with the densest population density of 2,162 people/km2. The data processing method used in planning consists of site selection, population projection calculation, waste generation calculation, mass balance calculation, land/space needs calculation, and 3R TPS floor plan layout. The logarithmic method is used for the calculation of population projections and waste generation in TPS 3R planning because it has the best correlation coefficient value and standard deviation. The total population of waste generation in the planning year (2031) is 65.595 people and 28,206 tons/day. The planning location is located on Jl. Pd. Sejahtera, North Loktabat Village. Abstract

PT Kaltim Methanol Industri adalah perusahaan penghasil methanol satu-satunya di Indonesia dalam operasinya dapat menghasilkan emisi gas rumah kaca dari auxiliary boiler dan stack reformer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan menganalisis estimasi jumlah emisi gas rumah kaca CO2 serta membandingkan dengan pengukuran alat di PT Kaltim Methanol Industri. Perhitungan emisi gas rumah kaca CO2 dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan sesuai pedoman IPCC Guideline 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besar emisi gas emisi rumah kaca dengan perhitungan metode IPCC pada tahun 2020 hingga 2022 bertutut-turut untuk tier 1 adalah 314.567,75 ton CO2e, 279.269,49 ton CO2e dan 285.195,41 ton CO2e. Besar nilai tier 2 adalah 317.646,38 ton CO2e, 281.275,62 ton CO2e dan 286.3566,18 ton CO2e. Besar tier 3 adalah 319.283,00 ton CO2e , 283.066,04 ton CO2e dan 288.073,27 ton CO2e. Berdasarkan masing-masing nilai perhitungan yang paling mendekati dengan nilai pengukuran pada tahun 2020-2022 yaitu sama berada pada tier 3. Selisih tier 3 masing-masing tahun rentang 1-2% saja. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut Gas Rumah Kaca di PT Kaltim Methanol Industri berbanding lurus dengan jumlah produksi methanol. Kata kunci: Inventarisasi, methanol, emisi gas rumah kaca, IPCC.

Abstract

Erosi adalah peristiwa perpindahan atau terangkutnya tanah atau bagian-bagian tanah dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain oleh media alami. Pada peristiwa erosi, tanah atau bagian-bagian tanah pada suatu tempat terkikis dan terangkut yang kemudian diendapkan di tempat lain. Erosi mengakibatkan sebagian besar lapisan tanah hilang, besarnya erosi yang terjadi juga menunjukkan betapa kritisnya tanah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi serta tingkat laju erosi tanah pada Sub-Sub DAS Riam Kanan terutama di wilayah Rantau Balai pada tahun 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa model Equation of Revised Universal Soil Loss (RUSLE) dengan data yang diolah menggunakan javascript pada platform Google Earth Engine. Metode RUSLE dapat memberikan hasil kehilangan tanah yang signifikan dalam menganalisis aliran permukaan. Persamaan RUSLE yang digunakan menggunakan faktor erosivitas hujan (R), faktor erodibilitas tanah (K), faktor Panjang dan kemiringan lereng (S), faktor pengelolaan tanaman (C), serta faktor tindakan konservasi (P). Hasil analisis rata-rata laju erosi yaitu sebesar 6,0849 Ton/Ha/Tahun dikategorikan sebagai erosi kelas sangat ringan. Metode analisis spasial menggunakan model RUSLE dan Google Earth Engine terbukti efektif dalam memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang potensi erosi tanah di wilayah studi.

Abstract

Since the communal WWTP of Banjarbaru was operated in 2012, no evaluation has been conducted to assess the performance of the communal WWTP. The evaluation was conducted to determine the ability of the WWTP and to analyze various problems that caused the wastewater to not meet the quality standards from a technical and non-technical perspective. The methods used in this study were observation, literature study, laboratory tests, interviews, and questionnaires. Sampling locations are at the communal WWTP inlet and outlet. The results of the questionnaire were processed by scoring using a Likert scale. The results showed that the performance of communal WWTP in Banjarbaru based on technical aspects was classified into category A (good), operational and maintenance aspects, as well as financial aspects, were included in category B (good enough), and institutional aspects were included in category C (not good). Based on the results of the assessment, it is known that the performance of the Banjarbaru communal WWTP is not optimal and needs to be improved in several aspects.

Abstract

Swamp land in Terantang Village, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan has the potential to be utilized if managed optimally. Sour swamp land needs to be managed by the reclamation process. However, the high accumulation of toxic iron (Fe) becomes an obstacle in optimizing the reclamation process. The two-way flow system with the help of tidal ponds in the reclamation channel used still needs further evaluation to find out how effective the washing of toxic materials is. The main factors that influence the most are tidal events and partial pond function. The use of Environmental Fluids Dynamic Code (EFDC) software with simulation based on the data obtained is estimated to be able to solve the existing problems. This research was conducted in primary, secondary and tertiary reclamation channels with several stages. The first stage is to identify the hydrodynamic conditions and water quality in the Terantang unit reclamation channel. The second stage is the preparation and testing of the model. The second stage is the preparation and testing of the model. The last stage is model simulation on flow pattern, water age, accumulation of iron (Fe) concentration and accumulation of TSS concentration in 3 scenarios. The scenarios consist of simulating the hydrodynamic aspects of current movement and water age and 2 simulation scenarios of the water quality aspect on the accumulation of iron (Fe) concentration and TSS concentration by paying attention to the partition coefficient and without the partition coefficient. Simulations were carried out using the primary, secondary and 5 tertiary channel representative model data. The simulation results show that the application of channel tidal forces and partial pool utilization is still not running well. This happened based on the simulation results on the hydrodynamic and water quality aspects, showing that the water washing process still reached 60% with the water age reaching 3 days. The tidal force of the water is not able to reach the end of the channel and the tide pattern has not yet reached the end of the channel but has receded.

Abstract

Waste is a problem that is often experienced in urban areas, including the City of Banjarmasin. In big cities, waste is a problem both in terms of quantity and type. The size of the waste problem grows along with the growth of the population in the city. The increase in population causes an increase in population activity which also means an increase in the amount of waste generation. Hoarding is one of the most common ways of disposing of municipal solid waste. As happened in Kuin Cerucuk Village, Banjarmasin City which has a population of 19 467 people with a population density of 11,727.11 people/km2. As an effort to overcome the problem of waste generation in Kuin Cerucuk Village is to plan a TPS 3R. In making a waste building design, it is necessary to have both population projections and waste generation projections. From the results of the design of the buildings contained in the TPS 3R in the form of a receiving area, inorganic room (sorting area, plastic waste reception area, processed plastic waste reception area, milling area and washing area), inorganic room (organic reception area, enumeration area, composting area and sieving area), warehouse buildings, and supporting facilities (offices, toilets, prayer rooms and ablution areas). The land requirement for this design is an area of ​​1,110 m2 with a Budget Plan of Rp. 3,017,465,295.09.
