Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of business process automation as an innovative strategy in driving the modernization of business administration. Amid the rapid development of digital technology, organizations are required to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed in administrative management. Automation serves as a strategic solution to replace manual processes that tend to be slow and prone to errors. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative analysis of the implementation of automation across various business sectors. Data were collected through interviews, literature studies, and observations of digital system-based administrative practices. The findings show that business process automation significantly contributes to the modernization of business administration by positively impacting operational efficiency, data accuracy, information-based decision-making, and customer service quality. Through the integration of Business Process Automation (BPA), companies are able to streamline various processes such as employee onboarding, purchase order management, contract management, marketing, and sales, thereby reducing reliance on manual processes that are susceptible to errors and delays. These findings reinforce that automation not only boosts productivity and reduces costs but also accelerates business responsiveness to market dynamics, enhances competitiveness, and strengthens the organizational foundation for long-term growth in a technology-driven business environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has brought Indonesia into a complex era of digital transformation. On the other hand, this advancement has also given rise to new challenges in the form of non-military cyber threats that pose significant risks to national stability. This research aims to examine the forms and characteristics of non-military threats in cyberspace and to analyze the effectiveness of Indonesia’s national defense strategies in responding to these threats. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. The findings indicate that although the government has established the Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) and issued various regulations, such as Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection and Minister of Defense Regulation No. 82 of 2014, the strategies implemented have not been fully effective. This is due to weak interagency coordination, limited human resources, and suboptimal law enforcement. Therefore, strengthening governance, improving digital literacy, and fostering cross-sector collaboration are essential to building a resilient national cyber defense system.

Abstract

Many organizations fail to achieve their strategic goals not due to poor planning, but because of weak strategy execution. Strategy execution is a critical stage that requires the involvement of top management, adaptive control systems, and support from mature performance measurement and risk management systems. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the success and failure of strategy execution in dynamic environments, with a specific focus on Indonesian organizations. The research method employed is qualitative, with a systematic literature review approach, utilizing various relevant academic sources from international and local databases. The findings indicate that successful strategy execution is characterized by leadership commitment, risk prioritization, stakeholder involvement, periodic evaluations, and the integration of risk management throughout the strategic process. Conversely, failure in strategy execution is often caused by a lack of risk awareness, an unsupportive organizational culture, and the absence of a structured performance measurement system. In conclusion, effective strategy execution emerges from the deliberate alignment of three foundational pillars: structural organizational readiness, strong and accountable leadership, and an integrated system of performance and risk oversight. Organizations that cultivate balance across leadership commitment, adaptive control systems, and risk-performance integration are better positioned to transform strategic plans into tangible and sustainable outcomes, even amid dynamic environmental challenges. By managing these elements effectively, organizations can bridge the persistent gap between strategic intent and operational reality.
