Abstract

This research explores the application of computer vision using YOLOv5 Medium for automatic object detection in unmanned rail inspection systems. The proposed technique utilizes image processing to analysing pixel values and detect optical motion vehicles. This detection triggers control system responses, such as activating the inspection train's motor upon vehicle identification. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of YOLOv5 Medium in achieving high accuracy rates. Evaluations at various distances yielded promising results: 97.98% at 3 meters, 100% at 5 meters, 99.49% at 7 meters, and a perfect 100% at 9 meters. These findings suggest optimal system performance at a distance of 9 meters. Overall detection performance across all test distances remained consistently high, with sequential rates of 0.96, 0.97, 0.95, and 0.96. This research emphasizes the crucial role of several factors in maintaining system accuracy and performance. These include the efficacy of the colour segmentation algorithm, ambient lighting conditions, and camera resolution. Furthermore, the importance of extensive testing with a diverse dataset is highlighted to ensure the system's robustness and adaptability to various real-world scenarios.

Abstract

A nation's transport system is one of the many aspects that affect its economic growth. One mode of transportation that is frequently used by society at large is the train. With advancement. Because technology is developing so quickly, humans are needed to carry out new inventions. More contemporary, the innovation being created frequently is the application of composite materials made of raw natural fibres. One of the uses of coconut fiber is as a composite material used as a coating for the train carbody. This study will test composite materials on coconut fiber using a polyester resin matrix with a random fiber arrangement using the hand lay-up method and mesh variations of coconut fiber 50, 100, 150, and 200 at volume fraction 40%. In the tensile, the mesh variation had the highest tensile strength in 100 mesh variatons, with results 28.52 N/mm2.

Abstract

With the rapid development of science and technology, people need to be innovative and contemporary. New structures have been widely developed using composite materials made from natural fibers. This research aims to determine the effect of the volume fraction of epoxy matrix pandan tectorius leaf fibers with an epoxy matrix on tensile and bending strength to determine the best results of speciments. Pandan tectorius leaf fiber composites with epoxy resin matrix adopts hand-laying technology, and pandan leaf fiber composites are used for two tires. In this research, the volume ratio of pandan leaf fiber and epoxy resin matrix was found to be 40:60, 45:55, 50:50, 55:45 and 60:40. In the tensile test, the highest value in the average tensile strength of the epoxy-based pandan fiber material was 15.8 N/mm2, and the lowest value was observed when the fiber and matrix volume ratio (40:60) was changed. It occurs when the fiber and matrix volume ratio changes (50 : 50) is 12.2 N/mm2. Meanwhile, in the bending test, the highest average value of bending strength was for the variation of fiber and matrix volume fraction (60: 40), and for the lowest value for the variation of fiber and matrix volume fraction (40: 60), it was equal to 17.36 N/mm2.

Abstract

CCTV ini biasanya digunakan di Gedung Kantor, Gedung Sekolah, Gedung Perbelanjaan, Tempat Ibadah dan tempat-tempat lainnya yang memerlukan pengawasan keamanan. Tempat Ibadah khususnya Masjid adalah suatu bangunan yang berfungsi dipergunakan sebagai tempat shalat, baik shalat lima waktu, shalat jumat maupun shalat hari raya. Berangkat dari ramainya orang yang beribadah setiap hari, tentunya juga melibatkan banyak jama’ah, kewaspadaan dari para jamaah yang membawa kendaraan bermotor dan barang-barang lainya perlu selalu ditingkatkan. Kegiatan PKM ini dilatarbelakangi adanya info dari ketua Takmir Masjid AL Muttaqin di Lingk. Jlumpang RT 04 RW 01 Kel. Jatirejo, Kec. Nganjuk, Kab. Nganjuk tentang adanya tindakan kriminal yang sering terjadi di Masjid tersebut. Kegiatan kriminal ini meliputi pencurian kotak amal, pompa air, kendaraan bermotor milik jamaah serta masyarakat sekitar masjid merasa tidak aman dan menjadi kurang hikmat dalam beribadah. Penting untuk menggunakan CCTV dengan bijak, mematuhi regulasi privasi yang berlaku, dan memastikan bahwa penggunaannya sejalan dengan kebutuhan keamanan dan privasi masyarakat. Dalam CCTV terdapat beberapa fitur seperti resolusi tinggi, inframerah, pengaturan sudut pandang yang fleksibel, pendeteksian gerakan, pemantauan jarak jauh, dan penyimpanan data yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyimpan rekaman video untuk analisis lebih lanjut atau sebagai bukti jika diperlukan. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini akan ada pelatihan instalasi dan implementasi perangkat CCTV pada lingkungan atau pengurus Masjid Al Muttaqin yang terletak di Jl. Jlumpang No.8, Jatirejo, Kec. Nganjuk, Kabupaten Nganjuk, Jawa Timur yang diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk keamanan.

Abstract

The village of Nglurah, which is located in Karang Anyar, is a producer of ornamental plants/flowers which are traded in various areas around and outside Java. Most of the population in this city work as flower farmers. Apart from being farmers, it turns out that the residents need other forms of economic improvement. Therefore, a home industry for honey sweet potato chips was initiated to support the community's economy. To carry out the home industry, it is necessary to take economic steps to become an independent entrepreneur, which is an important field to be developed. This development is carried out to encourage the economic revival of the community in various business fields. By providing training solutions to the residents of the Nglurah hamlet in the form of life skills, in the form of training in the use of used oil stoves to support the home industry of honey sweet potato chips, which can be used as a provision for the skills of residents, especially the Mulia Sejahtera farmer group in the plantation sector to be applied in daily life. day. Implementation of Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities in Partners. Target solutions are provided using training methods with direct practice models by mixing used oil to be used on stoves.

Abstract

In the food processing industry, such as various types of crackers, various fried peanuts and various other packaged foods, the durability and durability of these food products must of course be given great attention. One of the reasons why various foods are not durable and expire quickly is the high oil content contained in these various foods. Manually draining oil is certainly not effective for the production of various foods in large quantities on an industrial scale. For that we need a tool or machine that can drain and reduce the oil content that is still contained in these various foods. The machine used is honey sweet potato chip spinner machine. Tawangmangu Village, Tawangmangu District, Central Java is known as a tourist area which is located on the slopes of Mount Lawu with various kinds of tourist beauty presented. Tourists often come to enjoy the natural beauty of Tawangmangu which is also rich in natural products, one of which is sweet potato honey. However, local residents cannot maximize honey sweet potato as a special food which is used as souvenirs for tourists, so there is a need for an effort to engineer food processing made from honey sweet potato in the form of procurement and training of electric powered honey sweet potato chip spinner machines for Karang Taruna Orpega 02 (Organization Erlangga Youth) in the Tawangmangu Village, Central Java. At the time of implementation, Mitra's enthusiasm was very large to take part in a series of training events for making food slicer spinners. There were 20 members of the youth group who took part in a series of training activities.

Abstract

One of the activities of the "Makmur Jaya Farmers" group in Gogodeso village and the "Ngudi Makmur Farmers" group in Munggalan village is currently making simple organic fertilizers with raw materials derived from cow manure. however, there are still obstacles that are felt by the local community, namely the inefficiency in the manufacturing process. The problem of partners in community service is the limited technology for managing organic fertilizer. Mitra needs to empower technology in managing organic fertilizer. The processing already exists and produces powder fertilizers that have economic value. But the processing is still very traditional, causing new problems in the amount of fertilizer spread because of the powder-based fertilizer. Therefore, this needs to be touched by the development of Appropriate Technology to produce granular organic fertilizer with good and correct processing as an economic source to increase family income as community empowerment. as well as marketing the products produced by these Community Service Results partners, it can be concluded that this training was quite successful where the training participants were very enthusiastic in the training activities, it was also because each teacher had never received socialization from the government / agricultural services related to the use of technology appropriate for processing fertilizers into processed products that are ready to sell / value as well as increasing the capacity and income of activity partners with the transfer of recycling technology for manure. Suggestions, in order to improve technology transfer to the community micro business groups, should be activities such as the community service program PKM need to be promoted so that the community's ability to increase which at the same time will improve the community welfare of farmer groups.

Abstract

This program was held aimed at improving the competency of technical drawing of vocational students in the Municipality of Kediri. Competence in this service consists of three aspects, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. This program is carried out with a model of meeting in the classroom, giving theory, practicum, performance of making parts with image models and real object models. The improvement of students' abilities was measured using observation sheets of student activities to determine the improvement of the affective aspects of students, the pretest and posttest instruments to determine the increase in cognitive aspects of students, the worksheets of students to determine the improvement of psychomotor aspects. The first output of this program is to increase the ability of vocational students in the field of mechanical engineering with the help of computers using CAD-based software. The next output is a competency certificate that will be given to students in accordance with their competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide the skills and tools available to produce mats to PKK groups in Ngade Kanigoro Blitar Village so that it will affect the process, (2) The method used in this PKM activity is community empowerment through training and accompaniment. (3) The results of this activity are in the form of providing skills in the utilization of existing patchwork waste raw materials in accordance with what partners need optimally so that the smooth process of cassette production can be maximized and the desired design is in accordance with expectations and provides a tool for making mats. (4) The conclusion of this activity is the empowerment of the PKK group through training on making mats from cloth waste in the Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) group of Ngade Village, Kanigoro District, Blitar Regency, namely increasing knowledge, increasing skills, and increasing the attitude of learning citizens.

Abstract

Generator hidrogen adalah suatu alat yang memanfaatkan reaksi kimia air dari sumber energi listrik, perubahan energi ini biasa disebut elektrolisis air, pada generator hidrogen ini dapat berfungsi untuk memisahkan kandungan H2 dan O2 pada air yang kandungannya H2O. Kompor berbahan bakar hidrogen merupakan salah satu pilihan alternatif yang bisa digunakan untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga. Namun untuk saat ini belum banyak orang yang menggunakan jenis kompor tersebut, sehingga untuk menarik minat serta untuk meringkas tempat maka dibuatlah kompor yang dirangkai dengan rangka sehingga akan memudahkan operator dalam penggunaan. Dengan dibuatnya rangka ini diharapkan akan dapat meringkas kebutuhan luas area dari kompor hidrogen yang sudah ada. Bahan rangka yang dipilih adalah besi siku yang memiliki ketebalan 3mm dan dirangkai dengan sambungan las serta disusun membentuk sebuah rak untuk tempat kompor dan juga generator hidrogennya. Untuk distribusi pembebanan dilakukan secara merata sesuai dengan jumlah beban pada setiap bagian rangka. Tegangan tarik yang diperoleh pada sambungan las kampuh sebesar 1,27 N/mm2. Tegangan geser yang diperoleh pada sambungan las sudut sebesar 1,807 N/mm2.
