Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara mengisolasi dan karakteristik dye organik alam sebagai sensitizer. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu persiapan, isolasi dye organik alam, karakterisasi sifat optik, analisis dan menyimpulkan. Isolasi dye organic alam dilakukan untuk memperoleh sari dari bahan-bahan alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan alam yaitu jagung (Zea mays) dan labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata). Karakterisasi optik dye organik alam dalam penelitian ini dilihat dari spektrum absorbansi yang diukur menggunakan Spektrophotometer Uv-Vis. Spektrum absorbansi dye diukur dalam kuvet optik, pada panjang gelombang 350-800 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolasi dye organik alam diperoleh melalui metode ekstraksi, yaitu suatu metode untuk memperoleh sari dari bahan-bahan alam. Proses ekstraksi dilakukan dengan melarutkan biji jagung (Zea mays) dan daging buah labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata) dalam pelarut etanol dengan konsentrasi 1:5. Karaktistik optik jagung (Zea mays) dan labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata)  menunjukkan panjang gelombang yaitu berada pada cahaya tampak dengan rentang panjang gelombang 350 – 500 nm.  Dengan demikian  dye  beta-karoten yang berasal dari jagung (Zea mays) dan labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata) dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sensitizer dalam prototipe Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC).

Abstract

This study aims to determine; (1) students 'metacognition abilities before being applied to guided inquiry-based student worksheets on Newton's Law II material, (2) students' metacognition abilities after being applied guided inquiry-based student worksheets on Newton's Law II material, and (3) how much influence is the application of guided inquiry based student worksheets on students' metacognitive abilities in Newton's Law II material in class X Mia SMA N 1 Marau. This research is a pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest design research. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA N 1 Marau which consisted of 4 classes. The sample selected using a saturated sample, namely class X Mia as the experimental class. The results of the study were obtained before the treatment of the aspects of students' high metacognition abilities, namely the aspect of strategy setting ability of 81.81% and the aspect of the lowest metacognition ability, namely the aspect of metacognition ability of the debugging strategy by 0%. Meanwhile, the results after being given treatment for the students' high metacognition ability were the aspect of strategic setting ability of 95.23% and the lowest aspect of metacognition ability was the aspect of the metacognition ability of the debugging strategy of 57.77%. The result of the calculation of the effect size is 5.17 or 5.17> 0.8. Thus, the effect of the application of guided inquiry-based worksheets is very influential on students' metacognition abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The feasibility of ICT-based Physics History textbooks according to material experts, (2) The feasibility of ICT-based Physics History textbooks according to media experts. The research method used is R&D with reference to the 4-D model (four D model). The 4-D model consists of the define, design, development and disseminate stages. The development of ICT-based Physics History textbooks is the development of textbooks that help students in building information (knowledge) in understanding concepts through ICT in e-books in Physics History courses delivered. This is in accordance with KKNI curriculum planning, where the implementation of learning in the classroom is carried out with the Scientific Approach approach which includes observing, questioning, experimenting, associating (discussion), and networking (presentation). The results of the study are as follows: (1) ICT-Based Physics History Teaching books that have been validated by material experts with appropriate performance with an average value of 78, (2) ICT-Based Physics History Teaching books that have been validated by media experts with expertise suitable for use with an average rating of 80.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian yang dilakukan didasari oleh belum adanya buku ajar fisika SMA kelas X pada materi pengukuran yang mengaitkan antara kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat dengan konsep fisika . Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar fisika pada materi pengukuran berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku ajar fisika pada materi pengukuran berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (Four-D Models) yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap pendeseminasian (disseminate). Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrument non test berupa angket validasi menggunakan skala likert dengan rentang skor 1-4. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa buku ajar fisika pada materi pengukuran berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat memiliki hasil validasi untuk ahli materi dengan skor rata-rata 82,5% dan validasi ahli media dengan skor rata-rata 82,25%. Buku ajar fisika pada materi pengukuran berbasis kearifan lokal Kalimantan Barat dengan kriteria sangat baik menurut ahli materi dan ahli media sehingga buku ajar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika..Kata kunci: pengembangan, bahan ajar, pengukuran, kearifan lokal Abstract. The research conducted was based on the absence of class X high school physics textbook on measurement material that linked West Kalimantan local wisdom with the concept of physics. Therefore, this study aims to develop physics textbooks on measurement materials based on the local wisdom of West Kalimantan. In particular, this study aims to determine the feasibility of physics textbooks on measurement materials based on the local wisdom of West Kalimantan. The research method used is the research and development (R&D) method using the 4-D model (Four-D Models), which consists of four stages, namely the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The instrument used is a non-test instrument in the form of a validation questionnaire using a Likert scale with a score range of 1-4. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that physics textbooks on measurement materials based on local wisdom of West Kalimantan have validation results for material experts with an average score of 82.5% and validation of media experts with an average score of 82.25%. Physics textbooks on measurement material based on local wisdom of West Kalimantan with very good criteria according to material experts and media experts so that the textbooks developed can be used in physics learning.Keywords: development, teaching materials, measurement, local wisdom

Abstract

This research is a development research to develop learning media based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller in kinetic energy subjects with the help of ultrasonic sensors and load cells that are feasible and effective. The test subjects in this research and development consisted of material experts, media experts, physics subject teachers, and 12th grade students of MAN 1 Pontianak. The ADDIE development model used in this study consisted of five stages, namely: (1) the analysis phase, (2) the design phase, (3) the development phase, (4) the implementation phase, and (5) the evaluation phase. The results of material expert validation with an average score of 85%, and media expert validation with an average score of 87% indicate that the material and tool design developed is very feasible. Then, the teacher's response to physics lessons obtained a score of 83%, with very good criteria. The average score of student responses was obtained by a score of 89%, with very good criteria, which means that the learning media based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller in kinetic energy subjects with the help of ultrasonic sensors and load cells developed is easy to use by teachers and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar fisika berbasis karakter dengan pendekaatan kearifan local Kalimantan Barat yang memenuhi indicator valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D, dengan pendekanatan four D. Tahapan pengembangan terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan diseminasi terbatas. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 orang validator dan 75 orang siswa SMA kelas X pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penentuan kriteria kevalidan menggunakan uji indeks Aiken V. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kevalidan komponen penyajian buku ajar, kelayakan isi dan kebahasaan buku ajar telah memenuhi kriteria validitas tinggi dengan rata-rata indeks V = 0,96, sehingga secara keseluruhan disimpulkan buku ajar fisika berbasis karakter dengan pendekaatan kearifan local Kalimantan Barat memenuhi indicator valid telah memenuhi kriteria valid dengan kategori validitas tinggi. Tingkat kepraktisan buku ajar menunjukkan bahwa 60,53% dari jumlah keseluruhan mahasiswa memberikan respon sangat positif terhadap buku ajar dan 67,52% siswa sangat aktif saat menggunakan buku ajar, sehingga buku ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan praktis.  Tingkat keefektifan modul menunjukkan bahwa 81% dari siswa memiliki nilai  hasil belajar lebih tinggi dari nilai ketuntasan (75) setelah menggunakan buku ajar, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar fisika berbasis karakter dengan pendekaatan kearifan local Kalimantan Bara  telah memenuhi kriteria efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an objective clarity regarding the application of discovery learning models to students' science process skills in dynamic electrical material for class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. This research method uses the Quasi Experiment Design method with the research design is Posttest-Only Nonequivalent Groups. Data collection techniques are essay tests to measure students' science process skills. The population in this study were all grade IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya consisting of 4 classes. The sample in this study were students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya in class IX B and class IX C in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year, taken by cluster random sampling. Analysis of the data description using the average equation (mean), analysis of the hypothesis test using the U Maan Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that 1) the students' science process skills after applying the direct learning model to the dynamic electrical material of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya is classified as not good at 62.67; 2) students' science process skills after the discovery learning model applied to the dynamic electrical material of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya is classified as good, amounting to 81.07; 3) there are differences in the science process skills of students who are taught using discovery learning models and students who are taught using direct learning models on dynamic electrical material for class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

The study aims to produce a mechanical energy prop by worthy using an Arduino Uno microcontroller assisted by an ultrasonic sensor and a load cell. The research method uses research and development design according to the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages by analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The feasibility of mechanical energy props is determined according to experts. The research was carried out in 2021, a limited trial was carried out on students at SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap. Research subjects' responses to the props are also known to use response questionnaires. The validation results of mechanical energy props based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller by two media experts obtained an average score of 95% in the excellent category and by two material expert validators, an average percentage of 97.21% was obtained in the excellent category. The response of research subjects to mechanical energy teaching aids based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller obtained an average score of 87.72% with an excellent category. Overall, mechanical energy teaching aids based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller assisted by an ultrasonic sensor and a load cell have been produced.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and interaction of the use of learning media, mathematical abilities, and critical thinking skills on student achievement. The design of this research is experimental. Data were analyzed using a three-way ANOVA analysis of variance. The results showed: 1) there was an effect of cognitive and affective learning achievement of students who were given learning using Arduino microcontroller and Proteus software, but there was no effect on psychomotor learning achievement; 2) there is an effect of cognitive learning achievement of students who have high and low mathematical abilities, but there is no effect on affective and psychomotor learning achievement; 3) there is no effect on cognitive and affective learning achievement of students who have high and low critical thinking skills, but there is an effect on psychomotor learning achievement; 4) there is no interaction between the inquiry model using Arduino microcontroller and Proteus software with mathematical ability on students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning achievement; 5) there is no interaction between the inquiry model using Arduino microcontroller and Proteus software with critical thinking skills on student cognitive and psychomotor learning achievement, but there is an interaction on student affective learning achievement; 6) there is no interaction between mathematical ability and critical thinking skills on student achievement; 7) there is no interaction between the inquiry model using Arduino microcontroller and Proteus software, mathematical ability, thinking skills on student achievement.
