Abstract

Whistleblowing is a crucial mechanism for maintaining organizational integrity by exposing unethical or illegal activities such as fraud, data manipulation, and policy violations. This study systematically reviews the psychological and organizational factors influencing whistleblowing behavior. Key psychological factors include moral responsibility, risk perception, self-control, and Machiavellianism, which can either encourage or deter individuals from reporting unethical conduct. Organizational factors such as culture, institutional support, and whistleblower protection policies significantly shape reporting intentions. Demographic and social factors, including age and proximity to fraudsters, also play a critical role. The review highlights that gaps exist in understanding how religious values, organizational structures, and protection mechanisms impact whistleblowing behavior. Addressing these gaps, this review provides recommendations for future research, emphasizing the need for robust organizational policies and support systems to foster transparency and accountability. By answering key research questions and identifying overlooked aspects, this review contributes to the theoretical and practical understanding of whistleblowing, offering insights for organizations across various sectors to encourage effective fraud reporting.

Abstract

Turnover intention is an important issue that impacts organizational stability, especially in the midst of changing demographics and labor market dynamics. This study aims to identify the factors that cause turnover intention through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on PRISMA guidelines and the SPIDER framework. The search was conducted on Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases, with 10 articles selected through screening using the Rayyan application. The analysis showed that turnover intention is influenced by various multidimensional factors, such as job satisfaction, leadership style (authentic and transformational), job stress, attachment, and social climate such as exclusion. Supervisor support, perceived organizational benevolence, and job satisfaction act as mediators or moderators in the relationship. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in employee retention strategies that not only focuses on compensation, but also creating a supportive work environment and effective leadership.

Abstract

Parent emotion socialization (PES), a response used when reacting to the emotional expression of children, is classified into supportive and non-supportive categories and varies at each stage of development. In this context, emotion, which is measured based on a strong theoretical foundation, plays an important role in children and adolescent development in terms of social functioning, academic achievement, and the development of psychopathology. The status as a single domain of study depends on each theoretical perspective applied. Based on prediction, the types of related variables also vary depending on each theoretical perspective. Therefore, this study aimed to fill the gap of reviews on the types of emotion variables. The association between the dynamics of emotion variables and PES was determined by analyzing 15 international journals. The results showed that emotion regulation was the variable most associated with PES in children and adolescents, serving as a moderator or vice versa. Other variables included self-conscious emotion, social and emotional adjustment, expression of emotion, negative emotionality/lability, and emotion processing. In conclusion, practitioners were provided with considerations regarding the measurement, study, and development of PES topics and various emotion variables.

Abstract

Sales promoters have an essential role in achieving the company’s profit. Therefore, they are required to have a good performance. However, they often encounter various difficulties during their job performance that decrease employee performance. In overcoming this issue, grit exists in each individual, and social support from the sales promoter’s environment can help them increase their job performance. This research objective is to examine the influence of grit and social support on the job performance of sales promoters. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample of this research is a group of 180 sales promoters consisting of 132 men and 48 women with an age range of 20-40 years (M = 2.54; SD = 1.027). The instruments used in this study were the Job Performance Scale (24 items, α = .856), Grit Scale (20 items, α = .604), and Social Support Scale (30 items, α = .877). The analysis test by the multiple linear regression with the hypothesis testing t-test statistic showed a positive and statistically significant influence of grit and social support on the sales promoter job performance, adjusted R 2 = .608; F(2, 177) = 140.057, p < .001.

This study aims to determine the differences in attachment and self-direction in students. Subjects in this study were male and female students totaling 60 people, consisting of 30 men and 30 women whose ages ranged from 19-24 years. This study uses a different test analysis. Data collection techniques using a Likert Scale. The results of the analysis show that there is a a difference between the level of attachment and self direction in men and women. This is seen from the value of t= 0.2714 and sig 0.0009 < 0.05 which indicates that there are differences in the level of attachment of men and women. Likewise with self-direction, the results of the analysis indicate that there are differences in the level of self-direction of men and women seen from the value of t= 0.2794 and sig. 0.007< 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Quality of Work Life (QWL) and work motivation on employee performance. Subjects in this study were 50 TB-HIV Cadres, consisting of 36 women and 14 men whose ages ranged from 18 to 63 years old. This study applied multiple linear regression in analyzing data obtained from Likert-scale questionnaires. The results show that the QWL is significantly influential on performance, with R Square 0.313 and p-value 0.000, meaning that the QWL affects performance with 31% contribution. Meanwhile, the rest was influenced by other variables. However, work motivation seems to have no effect on performance (p>0.05). The practical implication of this study would be the more the manager is taking care of their employee’s QWL, the higher the performance of their employee will be. This subsequently may result in more productive employee in improving services to the society.
