Abstract

Indonesia's defense system is clearly stated in the Constitution (UUD 1945), namely the The Total People's Defense and Security (Sistem Pertahanan Rakyat Semesta, Sishanta). Sishanta has a strong philosophical and historical basis in Indonesian culture. Sishanta's efficacy in dealing with threats has been proven in the nation's history. The enactment of the National Resource Management Act (PSDN) for National Defense on 26 September 2019 became a new chapter in reviving the concept of Sishanta under a strong legal umbrella. This study examines more deeply the Indonesian culture of defense, how to implement Sishanta after the ratification of the PSDN Law. The research method used is analytical descriptive. The results showed that the Sishanta was the ideal Indonesian defense system in the face of threats. One of Sishanta's implementing is "Bela Negara" for the society. "Bela Negara" is carried out to produce state defense cadres prepared to become a Reserve Component (Komponen Cadangan) and Supporting Component (Komponen Pendukung) in counteracting threats to Indonesia with the Indonesian National Army (TNI) as the Main Component (Komponen Utama). The "Bela Negara" cadres, in particular, play the role of being the front line in guard Indonesia off nonmilitary and hybrid threats.

Abstract

The debt was able to be used by the firm as a source of funds for investment-related activities, especially when the amount of retained earnings was not sufficient to cover the amount of investment needed. Naturally, the use of debt definitely caused the agency conflict between firm shareholders and debt holders. To reduce this conflict, the existence of fixed assets as collateral was needed when the firm decided to borrow money from debt holders. The purpose of this study was to prove the agency theory perspective by testing an impact of asset structure on the capital structure of firms. The population of this study was the firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Malaysian Stock Exchange. The firms as a sample were taken from the population by conducting a stratified random sampling method. The pooled data regression model was used as the data analysis method. This result of this study showed that asset structure had a positive impact on the capital structure. It meant the causal relationship between asset structure and capital structure happened and was supported by the agency theory perspective.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v21i3.1312

Abstract

The change to a democratic political system in Indonesia, which previously adhered to an authoritarian system, does not mean that the former authoritarian system previously disappeared easily and quickly. candidates for leaders who legalize all means to pave the way to occupy the palace seats. One of them is by using the practice of money politics. Money politics or also known as money politics, as the name suggests, is a political practice that uses encouragement and injections of funds to carry out its political agenda smoothly. Money politics comes in various forms, such as vote buying, vote brokers, and political corruption. Corruption that is rooted in the government will cause systematic losses which will end up causing huge losses to the people, especially the lower middle economic class. With many corruption cases that continue to grow, this will threaten the resilience of our country. The dowry of money politics can be in the form of basic food assistance, infrastructure improvements to the "dawn attack" that gives money directly to the community. With the increasing rate of corruption in this country, corruption is one of the weaknesses of Indonesia's defense.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the industrial era 4.0 has changed the new face of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic independence. The potential for natural wealth, human resources and opportunities as an agricultural country are factors that influence success in the global economy. In its implementation, MSMEs have had mental readiness for the application of digital literacy. However, this will not run synergistically without simultaneous and gradual efforts to guard and improve digitalization technology in agricultural businesses. The fishery sub-sectoral agricultural business for catfish species is a supporting sector for Indonesia's food security. With this urgency, the application of digitization of agricultural businesses must be guarded from the production chain to distribution on a national and international scale.

Abstract

Indonesia has land and sea borders with ten countries, one of which is the country of Timor Leste which borders on land with the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)-Indonesia. Initially, Timor Leste was the eastern part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, but was separated and officially became its own country under the name of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste (RDTL) in 2002. One of the reasons for the loss of Indonesia's territorial territory was the weak defense of the Indonesian state. The high and low level of welfare of the population of the border area is one indicator of assessing how strong a country's defense is, where if the welfare level of the population is high then the national defense will be strong and vice versa if the welfare level of the population is low then the national defense will be threatened. Based on the Human Development Index (HDI) issued by BPS in 2020, the border population of NTT HDI is still low at 65.19 when compared to the National HDI of 71.94. In this study, the authors use the SWOT and AHP methods to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of residents of the border areas of NTT. The results of the study found that the NTT border area has a lot of potential to be developed and weaknesses in the form of the quality of human resources and capital are still lacking and from the analysis of these factors a strategy is produced as an effort to improve the welfare of border communities, namely (1) facilitating education to prepare competent border residents, ( 2) facilitating health to reduce maternal & infant mortality and the number of sick people, (3) reviving cooperatives as a forum for community capital, (4) developing the agricultural, plantation and livestock sectors which are the main livelihoods of border residents, (5) making a good market mechanism, (6) advancing the marine and tourism sector which previously had not been managed optimally

Abstract

The success of a research is highly dependent on the method adopted, especially research related to dangerous and expensive matters which will certainly require special handling in the development or maintenance steps. One of them is research related to space technology such as aviation and rocketry technology, which is very dependent on the design model of the flying vehicle and, in general, will always use simulation to ensure that the entire system being built is carried out safely and can be implemented properly according to plan. In the development of the prototype flying vehicle, especially the development of the avionics and flight control system, the vehicle will go through sequential simulation steps from Software in the Loop Simulation (SILS), Hardware in the Loop Simulation (HILS), and Ready-to-Fly System (RTFS). In this paper, the simulation steps will be described with the intention of facilitating integration and testing of each sub-system being developed, testing the control strategy applied or eliminating bugs if something goes wrong. In the end, with a series of flying vehicle simulations, it can be developed quickly and cost-effectively, including saving human resources.
