Abstract

This is a library research on the history and development of the Religious Court in Indonesia and its existence and competence which is unseparable from political will of the government. This article focuses on the New Order era and devides the discussion into three sub-sections: first, regulations, laws and competencies of the Religious Court, secondly position of the Religious Court based on the Law No 14 of 1970 and Law No 1 of 1974; and third, existence of the Religious Court after the Law No 7 of 1989

Abstract

This article describes a learning media The Holy Qur’an, it's application, and it's support factors as well as it's resistor factors application in SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember. The research methods that have been used is qualitative with study design research case. The Holy Qur’an use in SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember is independent by operate in computer respectively according teacher instructions using LCD. The Holy Qur’an is a program which serve audio visual with 30 juz al-Qur’an, makharijul huruf, sifatul huruf, tajwid, tafsir, hadits, etc. Students learn how to read and understand al-Qur’an from audio and visual that the Holy Qur’an media serve. The Holy Qur’an application in SMP Plus Darus Sholah Jember divided into three level. First is muqaddam (Class VII) who emphasized on makharijul huruf, sifatul huruf, harakat, and arabic keyboard mastery, both nonesoft khot and pure arabic. Second is murottal (Class VIII) who emphasized on writing ability using nonesoft khot and pure arabic. This level help students memory. Student can listen and simulate al-Qur’an verses that served. Third is development level (Class IX) who have ability to find argument about the laws in Islam that loaded in tafsir al-Qur’an verses as well as hadits that relevant.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a post-pandemic curriculum dream where the learning crisis is a multidimensional problem that cannot be solved by curriculum changes alone. The learning crisis can only be overcome by systemic changes. And that is what the Ministry of Education and Culture is now doing through a series of Merdeka Belajar policies in the independent curriculum. It has several principles, one of which was flexibility. This means that the school can implement this curriculum based on the environment. But this curriculum was very new when implemented by the teacher. The purpose of this study is to conceptually describe the Merdeka curriculum which is gradually implemented in MI Unggulan Nuris in grades 1 and 4 and will be implemented nationally in 2024. Descriptive qualitative research method of field research type is used as a research method. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research results, this curriculum can be applied in various fields. One teacher who prepared the independent curriculum attended training on curriculum for educational institutions. Based on interviews with teachers at Nuris Jember's madrasah ibtidaiyah, they responded enthusiastically to this curriculum although there are still shortcomings in its application. We hope that this implemented curriculum can achieve the goals in education in Indonesia.

Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kegiatan kepramukaan dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Kepramukaan sebagai salah satu bentuk pendidikan non-formal memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti keimanan, budi pekerti luhur, ketaatan hukum, dan kedisiplinan kepada anak-anak dan remaja. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengamanatkan kegiatan kepramukaan di sekolah-sekolah sebagai kombinasi dari nilai-nilai sikap dan pengembangan keterampilan.Penelitian ini berfokus pada kegiatan kepramukaan di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, di mana kepramukaan menjadi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib pada tahun 2017. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dirancang untuk tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan kepramukaan tetapi juga untuk membangun karakter, menekankan kesopanan, kepatuhan, dan disiplin. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut mencakup komponen dalam dan luar ruangan, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang holistik kepada para siswa. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Hasilnya menyoroti prestasi pramuka MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, termasuk keberhasilan penting dalam berbagai kompetisi. Pembina pramuka memainkan peran penting dalam mengimplementasikan kegiatan yang selaras dengan Kurikulum 2013, dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang membuat pengalaman yang menyenangkan bagi para siswa. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh para pembina pramuka, seperti keterbatasan ekonomi yang mempengaruhi perolehan atribut lengkap. Motivasi ditemukan secara positif dipengaruhi oleh pelatih eksternal. Terlepas dari tantangan yang ada, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendidikan karakter disiplin, dengan menekankan perlunya dukungan yang berkelanjutan dari para pembina dan orang tua. Internalisasi karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan kepramukaan terlihat dari perilaku siswa, termasuk ketepatan waktu, kepatuhan terhadap aturan, dan penyelesaian tugas tepat waktu. Ketika siswa menghadapi kesulitan, peran pembina dalam memberikan bimbingan dan motivasi sangat penting. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo efektif membentuk siswa yang disiplin, dengan menekankan pada upaya kolaboratif antara pembina dan siswa dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif.Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Kedisiplinan, Kegiatan Kepramukaan                                                                   AbstractThis research explores the role of scouting activities in shaping the disciplinary character of students at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Scouting, as a form of non-formal education, plays a crucial role in instilling values such as faithfulness, nobility, law-abidance, and discipline in children and young people. The Ministry of Education and Culture mandates scouting activities in schools as a combination of attitudinal values and skills development.The study focuses on scouting activities at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, where scouting became a compulsory extracurricular activity in 2017. The extracurricular activities are designed to not only develop scouting skills but also to build character, emphasizing politeness, obedience, and discipline. The activities include both indoor and outdoor components, providing students with a holistic learning experience. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation to gather primary data. The results highlight the achievements of MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo scouts, including notable successes in various competitions. Scout coaches play a pivotal role in implementing activities aligned with the 2013 Curriculum, using learning methods that make the experience enjoyable for students. The study also identifies constraints faced by scouts, such as economic limitations affecting the acquisition of complete attributes. Motivation is found to be positively influenced by external coaches. Despite challenges, the research underscores the importance of discipline character education, emphasizing the need for continuous support from coaches and parents. The internalization of discipline character through scouting activities is evident in students' behaviors, including punctuality, adherence to rules, and completion of tasks on time. While students face difficulties, the coaches' role in providing guidance and motivation is crucial. The research concludes that character education at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo effectively shapes disciplined students, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of coaches and students in creating a conducive learning environmentKeywords: Character Value, Discipline, Scouting Activities

Abstract

Dick and Carey's learning model is a learning model developed through a systems approach. The learning system model developed by Dick and Carey consists of several components that are necessary to design larger learning activities. Dick and Carey include cognitive and behavioristic elements that emphasize students' responses to the stimulus presented. The steps of the Dick and Carey model are 10 systematic steps. This model is suitable to be applied in PAI learning because the stages in this model are detailed and structured so that they can produce better learning and are in accordance with the core competencies in PAI learning, namely mastery of knowledge, attitudes and skills, in addition to PAI learning orientation which is oriented towards human nature, namely the body, mind and spirit that must be maintained in order to achieve balance (tawazun), so that it requires a complete and detailed process of designing learning. This research uses literature research (Library Research). The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding and brief history of the Dick and Carey model, to find out the steps in the Dick and Carey learning design model, to determine the implementation of the Dick and Carey learning model in PAI learning, to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the Dick and Carey design model Carey.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs in developing digital flashcards in Indonesian language learning to increase reading interest. The analysis was conducted through a qualitative case study with the research subjects selected by purposive sampling, including the principal, curriculum deputy, grade 1 teacher, and 30 students. Data collection methods involved observation, interviews, documentation, and learner questionnaires, with analysis using triangulation techniques. The results showed a lack of utilization of digital learning media, especially digital flashcards, at MI Daru Falah Wirowongso Jember, especially in grade 1, to support learners' interest in reading. In response to these findings, researchers analyzed the needs that can be implemented in the development of digital media, especially digital flashcards. The implications of this research are expected to provide a more comprehensive view of the needs of Indonesian language learning in the digital era, as well as providing a foundation for further development in increasing students' interest in reading through relevant and effective learning media.

Abstract

       AbstractLearning difficulties are a problem that can arise anywhere and can be experienced by anyone. Learning difficulties are not always caused by low intelligence, but can also be caused by non-intelligence factors. Parenting has a role in children's development, including their personality and also in their learning process. This research was conducted to find out the causes of learning difficulties experienced by school-age children. The method used is qualitative research, with an explanatory case study. The subject in this study is a 10-year-old school-age child. The data collected in this research is by using interview, observation, intelligence test (CFIT test), and graphic test. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by the subject were not only caused by intelligence factors, but also influenced by the parenting received by the subject in the family. The subject has an intelligence level below average, which puts him in the category of slow learners. In addition, permissive parenting and excessive attention from family members, especially the grandmother, also contributed to the subject's learning difficulties.Keyword; Learning Difficulty Issues, Psychology, Primary School Age AbstrakKesulitan belajar merupakan masalah yang dapat muncul di mana saja dan dapat dialami oleh siapa saja. Kesulitan belajar tidak selalu disebabkan oleh faktor intelegensi yang rendah, tetapi juga dapat disebabkan oleh faktor non-intelegensi. Pola asuh orang tua memiliki andil dalam perkembangan anak, termasuk kepribadiannya dan juga dalam proses belajarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penyebab kesulitan belajar yang dialami anak usia sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan studi kasus eksplanatoris. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang anak usia sekolah yang berusia 10 tahun. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, tes inteligensi (tes CFIT), dan tes grafis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar yang dialami oleh subjek selain disebabkan oleh faktor inteligensi, juga dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh yang diterima oleh subjek dalam keluarga. Subjek memiliki tingkat intelegensi di bawah rata-rata, yang menempatkannya dalam kategori anak lambat belajar (slow learner). Selain itu, pola asuh yang permisif dan perhatian yang berlebih dari anggota keluarga, khususnya nenek, juga berkontribusi pada kesulitan belajar yang dialami subjek.Kata kunci: Masalah Kesulitan Belajar, Psikologi, Usia Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Abstract Critical thinking skills in science learning are important competencies for elementary school students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills of grade V students in science learning at MI Miftahul Huda Banyuwangi. The method used was descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that 18 out of 26 students obtained a percentage of <50%, which included a relatively weak category. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in learning science are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include student characteristics, reading ability, learning motivation, writing ability, and student habits. External factors include the organization of learning by teachers and habituation carried out by teachers to students. (2) The critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in science learning are relatively weak. (3) Low critical thinking skills are caused by students' low language and reasoning skills.Keywords: Critical Thinking, Elementary School, Language and Reasoning Abilities

Abstract

       AbstractThis research aims to explore the need for interactive learning media, particularly PowerPoint, in teaching Natural and Social Sciences (Ipas) in the sixth grade at SDN 3 Lateng Banyuwangi. The research method employed is a qualitative study with a descriptive qualitative approach, involving 15 sixth-grade students. Data were collected through direct surveys, interviews, and observations using Google Form. The results indicate that the majority of students rely on books as learning media, while the use of interactive media such as PowerPoint remains low. Student preferences show a desire for learning media that include video animations, images, and quizzes. The Cognitive Multimedia Theory and Constructivist Learning Theory support the importance of using learning media that stimulate students' senses and encourage active knowledge construction. Interviews with teachers revealed challenges in distance learning, particularly in mathematics, due to students' low responses and limited teaching methods. The proposed solution is the use of Android-based interactive PowerPoint to facilitate more dynamic and interactive learning, both in online and face-to-face settings.Keywords: Android Application, Learning Media, Ipas Learning, Interactive PowerPoint)AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran interaktif, khususnya Powerpoint, dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (Ipas) di kelas VI di SDN 3 Lateng Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, melibatkan 15 peserta didik kelas VI. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei langsung, wawancara, dan observasi menggunakan Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas peserta didik lebih mengandalkan buku sebagai media pembelajaran, sementara penggunaan media interaktif seperti Powerpoint masih rendah. Preferensi peserta didik menunjukkan keinginan akan media pembelajaran yang menyajikan video animasi, gambar, dan kuis. Teori Kognitif Multimedia dan Teori Pembelajaran Konstruktivis mendukung pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang merangsang indera siswa dan mendorong pembangunan pengetahuan secara aktif. Wawancara dengan guru mengungkap kendala dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran matematika, disebabkan oleh rendahnya respon peserta didik dan keterbatasan metode pembelajaran. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah penggunaan Powerpoint Interaktif berbasis aplikasi android untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dan interaktif, baik dalam pembelajaran daring maupun tatap muka..Kata kunci: Aplikasi Android, Media Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Ipas, Powerpoint Interaktif
